The Bears need to start stronger and score more points in the 1st quarter. Damn bye weeks.
The SECOND best thing about the bye week is rooting for all the Bears' rivals to lose.
here's some funny shit
Here's the sequel...
"Shut the fuck up you puffy faced man puppet!"
Amen Reverend. Bye weeks suck.
There is only one positive. They allow our dinged up players an extra week to mend.
I'd be really curious to see what the players think of bye weeks. Can one of you twitter literate guys ping a player or two, and get their thoughts on the subject? Artoo?
Met Izzy today. He's a real big fan of the bye week this year as it allowed him to be at the NYC Comic Con to promote the graphic novel he's making. http://www.usatoday.com/story/life/2012/10/12/nycc-israel-idonije-ron-marz-graphic-novel-the-protectors/1630475/
In a related note, Adrianne Curry got kicked out of Comic Con for wearing a too-revealing Aeon Flux outfit:
GIGGITY GIGGITY allll riiight
Who is the fantasy top scorer #7 below Aaron and above Eli ...?
Your Chicago Bears DST with 92 points.
Actually, the Bears defensive/special teams unit is #6 on the list. Rogers is #7. Learn to count, boy.
The second highest scoring D/ST unit is Houston's (#35).
Someone needs to take the Rev on a honeymoon for next year's bye! Maybe that'll lower his blood pressure. Naaaah.
I might be in the minority here, but I like bye weeks. It's a bye for my psyche. A chance to recharge my ole bear battery. Also, the Bears seem to perform better after the byes, which is a scary thought for the rest of the league.
I'm trying to watch college football (bama-mizz game), and it's just hard to do. There's just no parity. It's already 21-0 and it's not even half time yet. While in the NFL the god damn TITANS with no D and a 37 year old QB practically eliminated the Steelers from the playoffs on Thurs.
Well, at least I learned something new watching that game. The game (27-0 now) was suspended due to lightning. Apparently, the rule is, the game must be suspended at least 30 min after the last sound of thunder.
Never knew that. Thanks college football. The more you know...
Way to go, Mizzou. You're just what the SEC needed. Another DOORMAT.
Sweet! And without their starting QB and RB. I only caught the last quarter, but that was best part. Tickets to the Civil War game are going to be hard to come by, and expensive this year.
