  • All hail Blogstradamus...

  • Hmmm.

We only won by 3 scores again.

    Let the bitching commence.

  • In reply to MikeBrownhadaPosse:

Woulda been four without fucking Kyle

  • In reply to SC Dave:

yeah but, he blocked great. game ball goes to tony romo.

  • Don't be sheep. Just because the talking heads tell you what they think we have doesn't make it so. Jay is my fucking quarterback and that's the way it is so suck it.

Read my handle motherfuckers. read it.

  • Hahahaha all hail Waffle!

  • That's not a "Handle'.

    A Rant...

    ...a Dissertation...

    ...a Sermon...

    ...or a Lecture,

    But it's not a "Handle".

  • I'm with ya all the way Waffle.

  • I would like, after we whip the Lions on MNF in three weeks, for Jay to reach down and grab a Snickers bar out of his sock, open it, take a bite, and flip off the TV sideline camera with a big smirk.

    Haters gonna hate.

    Bears gonna win.

  • Fuck yeah

  • In reply to SC Dave:

  • Lucy Pinder approves of this victory.

  • I think we just got a new superstition too.

Jeff, you gotta post the Cowboy-Bear for every night game from now on.

Like the commercial sings, "superstition...only weird when it doesn't work..."

  • Fuck you Chelios.

  • Papa Bears Halas, is enjoying the win, against wack-ass Dallas

  • WTF is up with these analysts on ESPN not showing ANY love for Da team, its all romo's and the cowboys fault, that the cowboys lost........ Wow, fack ESPN!

  • In reply to OsosFan:

Fuck the four letter network "FUCK THEM DEEP IN THE FACE"!!!!

I knew the Three & Four Letter would give us no love..I like that...FUCK'EM ALL!!!

  • In reply to lobotobear:

It's ridiculous though. The lack of respect for one of the oldest teams on the league. The Bears are deff. America's rereal team! Briggs' interception and running it back like if he was Forte was awesome. Fuck ESPN and the cowboy loving ass-holes! (Except for Gruden, he loves everyone)Next time I see Jerry Jones, I'm goin to yell out "Da Bears!" to his face!! Whoop whoop!

  • In reply to OsosFan:

    You noticed that, too.

  • In reply to OsosFan:

I posted this last night at the end of the thread.

Couldn't believe how often the Girls got away with offensive holding (and defensive holding in the end zone). On further review, how do they not call mugging Marshall in the end zone?

Cutler looked good other than the fumble.

I loved Gruden tonight. "Romo has the greatest cock". That int was not his fault. "Romo has a swell ass". That int was not his fault. "I want to have Romo's shit babies". That int was not his fault. "I'd wax his bayonet". That int was kind of his fault. "I just plain want him". He shouldn't have thrown that ball but it was a great pick by Wright. "If they can just get him a decent OL, I'd marry him", What, he had 5 picks? The Bears played a great game.

On Cutler's fumble, "That's all on Cutler he has to get rid of the ball quicker". He had it for 4 seconds and was dodging DL the whole time. Other than that Gruden wasn't biased.

  • My favorite play of the game:

    Screw you NFL Network.

  • In reply to EnderWiggin:

I would suggest avoiding the audio on the game highlights on NFL.com.

  • watched all 60 minutes of this game live from Jerryworld (e-mailed Blogfather some pics, but will e-mail the full set to him later on tomorrow...hopefully he'll post some on here). my thoughts/analysis:

    1) Romo looked like shit. He didn't have time in the pocket early on, but when he did, he made errant throws.
    2) Don't know what the real #88 was smoking when he let Dez Bryant wear his jersey, but was thoroughly unimpressed with his performance tonight.
    3) Miles Austin is the real deal. I like his game. A lot.
    4) Outside of the '06 Bears-Cards game, this is the best defensive effort from the Bears I've ever seen. The defense played beyond brilliant...outstanding game.
    5) Jay Cutler played like a man tonight. over 75% passing, 275 yds, 2 TDs, 1 TO (that was his fault...gotta get rid of that ball at the time).
    6) The OL played lights out tonight. Jay had time, they created holes to run...when Forte gets back healthy, this team is going to be scary.

    Funny asides from the game:

    1) After the 4th pick, Bears fans were singing "Na na na na..." to leaving Cowboys fans
    2) After the game, Bears fans went down the escalators singing "Let's Go Bears!!!" & "Cowboys Suck." Made me proud to root for this team...no lie.
    3) Bears fans were FUCKING DEEP!!!! Seriously, it was half & half like a college game (there was a sea of orange on the visitors side & a prominent amount of Bears fans on the home side).
    4) Cowboys fans are good sports. Maybe because the 'Boys played like shit or because there were so many Bears fans, but when we started cheering, NO Cowboys fans said anything.
    5) I love Bears fans. Best team to root for by far. To say "this team has traveling fans" is a severe understatement. Couldn't be more proud of this team tonight.

From what I saw, this is a playoff team. If the OL plays like they played tonight, Bears will be the Super Bowl champs. Bear Down...now time to party.

  • In reply to FQD1911:

Gruden and Tirico were also impressed with the amount and decibel of Bear fans. Good job tonight FQ, forth phase during the away game!

  • In reply to FQD1911:

yeah, I couldn't believe how the crowd cheered on 3rd down, when the COWBOYS were on the field. Came through the T.V.

Can't wait to see the pics.

Austin is a great WR. He's like a better Knox.

  • Sure. But can you fold him in half backwards? Doubt it.

  • In reply to FQD1911:

I noticed how the Bear fans took over the cheering, that came through on the broadcast as well.

That was a thorough ass-whooping. Was watching with a Cowboy fan friend and I almost started feeling bad. Romo was terrible, Bears' D was lights out. Brilliant performance.

  • In reply to FQD1911:

  • Lovie referenced and praised the fans mightily in his post game presser.

  • In reply to Albertintucson:

Did you see Cutty's presser? Absolutely perfect! He was pissed at the reporters before they ever asked one question. haha, screw the media! February 3rd is the only press conference that matters. The only answer that matters on that cool winter night: A big middle finger!

  • My game ball goes to...WEBB. Yeah, I said it.

He was going up against the 2nd best pass rusher in the game, on national tv, and didn't shit the bed. Not so much as an offsides.

I would have never guessed it. Hopefully, this doesn't become a Cookie, "remember when he stonewalled Allen?" anomaly.

I'm drunk off cool-aid tonight, so here ya go, big fella. Game Ball.

  • Would have been a slippery field if Romo AND Webb had both shit themselves ..... it was beautiful watching Romo drown in a scutter-fest.

  • Yes, I will say it too - Webb impressed me last night.

That performance is what they must keep seeing in practice. Perhaps this will boost JaMarcus' confidence to the point where it will become a much more regular thing.

  • +1 on J'Marcus.

  • oh yea: Bears fans love Da Blog shirt. some may come onto the site & buy a few...not promising anything, but they kept asking what website they were on (like it wasn't on the back of the shirt smh).

  • fb_avatar

As expected, SportsCenter is all what the Cowboys did wrong, rather than what the Bears did right.Fuck the 4 letter Network Great win Fella's Bear the Hell Down!!!

  • In reply to Shannon Pankster:

The NFL highlights is exactly the same. The only thing said about Cutler is the part on the bench. The rest is about how bad the Cowboys defense was.

  • Da perfect game? Perhaps.

I may need to see a doctor because I've had this Bears chubb at full attention for well over 4 hours now.

Halftime adjustments were Brilliant, gotta give Tice credit. When I thought they were going to pound it to run the clock, they came out swinging beautifully. Marshall in the slot was the perfect adjustment to beat the blitz. I just want to know what took so long? It would have been nice to see this in GB but better late than ne'er I guess.

  • In reply to Shady:

They are a new offense. Taking a few games to get it right is something we expected. Those scrimmages in August never really do the trick.

  • In reply to SC Dave:

But I thought Cutler was a loser Dave. You're not getting off that easy. I know this is a dead post but I would be remiss if I didn't point it out.

  • From first look (especially watching on a crappy lo-res pirated feed), I dunno if Webb did that well, or if the scheme was done right, and he got the help he needed.

Either way, whatever went right last night needs to happen for the next 15 games (yes, I'm counting on the Bears getting a bye... because if they play like they did last night, they win the division, kids).

I noticed Lach wasn't playing his traditional deep middle in the Cover 2. Part of that, I think, was him "spying" Romo and/or jumping Witten and/or backs on late releases. But what it tells me is that Conte and Wright are doing a good enough job and covering enough ground that giving up the middle seam isn't a worry. However, Dez Bryant doesn't have stone hands last night, and there are a few deep passes that really hurt.

Romo & Cutler have a lot more in common than people think--they both lose their shit and gamble as if they are the only guys who can win the game. When does Cutty not fall into that trap? When his defense can pretty much win the game for him.

Bottom line: the Bears are a much different team when they're playing with a lead. So the offense must get going earlier in games. Good teams aren't going to let the Bears get ahead on them.

  • Let's not pretend that cutty was hanging loose back there like Johnny Bravo. Webb will remain a liability in pass blocking unless he loses weight and gets quicker.

Welcome back to the offense Devin. That is how we do catching the football.

  • The best thing about the offense last night? They did it without Earl, and with only half of Matt.
