I'll be doing a rolling Twitter commentary here for the duration of the first round, followed by an analysis of the selection (if Jerry doesn't pull a Jerry and trade out of the round altogether).

  • Cam Newton this years Ja'Marcus Russel?

  • In reply to iamndmurff:

GP had one of my favorite DBB quotes of all time:

"If you rearrange the letters in Cam Newton, it spells Jamarcus Russell"

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    Thanks man.

  • In reply to gpldan:

I didn't want to blow my spuds on GP's parade at the time ... but I checked it out with a pen and paper ... and it totally doesn't.

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

    that was also very funny.

  • In reply to gpldan:

With the 29th pick, #Bears take OT Gabe Carimi, team official announces

  • In reply to Joseph:

    really were?

  • In reply to gpldan:

    Carimi!

  • In reply to iamndmurff:

Man I can't stand Boomer. dbag.

  • In reply to iamndmurff:

Cam newton's suit is SHARP! Didn't Don King wear the same look?

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Damn! I was waiting for first! As the anthem goes, "Are you ready for some football!?" If you're the owners, the answer is "no."

Hey, did anyone else hear the fans at Radio City boo Rodger Goodell and chant "We want football!". Awesome! Goodell and the owners are lucky tarring and feathering is out of fashion.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    his dad I meant.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

What must happen 4 us to get a top tier Olineman

This is a little long, but bear with me (pun intended)

    Bears

  • In reply to KissMyButkus:

    Burrnett. Motherfuckers.

If ted Thompson jumps in front of us AGAIN to take an OLineman we want, Jerry should be fired RIGHT THERE ON THE SPOT. No questions, no explanations, just fire his ass, throw his shit on the curb, and let Tice handle the rest of this draft.

  • In reply to KissMyButkus:

    Jeff, you're terrible at nicknames.

    Fiction Newton?

  • In reply to MB30SD:

ha ha. Where the hell is everyone else?

    I prefer Scam Newton, btw.

  • In reply to KissMyButkus:

    very nice.

    No clue man. Pussies!

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    Hey!

  • In reply to sjvl:

    Puppies!

  • In reply to sjvl:

    Wow, Kerrigan to Skins?

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    Atlanta going all in!

  • In reply to MB30SD:

God damn Atlanta gave up A LOT to get Julio Jones.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    Atlanta gave up

    - 27th (1st round)
    - 59 (2nd)
    - 124 (4rth)

    2012 1st & 4rth

That would've been about what we would have given up to trade into that spot to pick up someone at 6.

  • In reply to KissMyButkus:

I cannot believe that trade. Atlanta must be counting on the end of collective bargaining and the draft.

  • In reply to MikeBrownhadaPosse:

Does Ditka have a home in Atlanta by chance?

  • In reply to MikeBrownhadaPosse:

I was thinking the same thing MBP lol

  • In reply to MikeBrownhadaPosse:

    cameron jordan going to saints

  • In reply to MikeBrownhadaPosse:

Somebody get that bride's dress out and send it to the cleaners.

  • In reply to MikeBrownhadaPosse:

    FUCK ME...PLEASE DON"T F THIS UP JA

  • In reply to MikeBrownhadaPosse:

New Orleans worried about Bowers knee. going with Jordan.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    I want Pouncey....or Jerry Angelo's head on a platter.

  • In reply to sjvl:

    Pass the platter!

  • In reply to iamndmurff:

    need two..for ruskell

  • In reply to nicholsra:

    Three, for the McCheapskates.

  • In reply to iamndmurff:

Jake Locker to Titans at 8? WTF? Do they know his completion pct is in the 50s?

  • In reply to KissMyButkus:

titans welcome to the bad end of the sheite! pile

  • In reply to KissMyButkus:

    Dallas uses every minute! Jackoffs!

  • In reply to iamndmurff:

    jerkoff jones..what do you expect

  • In reply to iamndmurff:

    typical Diva Jerry Jones

  • In reply to KissMyButkus:

bye bye first for O-line T.Smith to the girls

  • In reply to nicholsra:

yup. The girls were close to trading though I don't know if that would've benefited us with our oline prospects.

  • In reply to nicholsra:

    Skins are wheelin and dealin!

  • In reply to sjvl:

    Locker a surprise Titan pick

  • In reply to sjvl:

    Crapola.

  • In reply to sjvl:

ravens trading? JA is that you

  • In reply to sjvl:

    Ravens need CB J.Smith
Someone needs to trade with the Chiefs for a QB!
The Pats need an olb like Ayers or Houston or RB like Ingram!

Bebe Jesus, the most magnificent of all Jesuses...

  • In reply to sjvl:

Angelo on character for this years draft:

I want football players not friends and neighbors.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

First surprise pick. Aldon Smith (DE) to 9ers. And Gabbert continues to fall...

  • In reply to KissMyButkus:

    second surprise...jake locker..titans

  • In reply to KissMyButkus:

and let the rush on pass-rushers commence.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    there's no crying in football!

  • In reply to MB30SD:

but his glasses are sweet... Old skool Run DMC style.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

He wept at the beauty of the universe:
    http://www.gemini.edu/gallery/v/Previous-Featured-Images/20110322_NGC6872.jpg.html

And by that I mean - holy shit were those some thick glasses!

  • In reply to MB30SD:

and the ViQueens draft wait for it...wait for it..wait for it

    Brett Farve.....

  • In reply to nicholsra:

They should have picked a QB last year.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Texans @11 going with the theory that a good pass rusher helps the secondary more than the other way around.

  • In reply to KissMyButkus:

Lions @ 13 also buying that theory.

  • In reply to KissMyButkus:

Da'Quan Bowers plummets all the way to 29 due to concerns about the knee. The Bears have just released their franchise DT due to degenerative knee issues.
    What do we do?

  • In reply to MikeBrownhadaPosse:

    he is a DE

  • In reply to hollywood1:

I'm still wondering what you do when a top five pick falls to you that low after going through the Tommie odyssey the last few years.

  • In reply to MikeBrownhadaPosse:

I think Wootton will end up being awesome. His knee is improving and he was a 1st round pick until he ripped it up.

  • In reply to MikeBrownhadaPosse:

Depends what Olineman are still available, or if a team wants to trade up with us and give us an Atlanta deal.

Bowers can't block Fairely, Suh, Allen, or the blitz.

If Cutler had more protection, we would've had superbowl rings with a defensive line that is the same as this year (Harris didn't do much)

  • In reply to hollywood1:

Nate Solder!! Pat's fucking everyone up.

  • In reply to hollywood1:

    Whaaaaaaaat?

  • In reply to MikeBrownhadaPosse:

LOL - SI has them picking Nate Williams - some 6th round safety.
    Nice work, interns!

  • In reply to hollywood1:

    Nate before Costanzo?

  • In reply to iamndmurff:

I think the Pats were reading the same Mock Drafts I read that had Solder going to the Colts.

A little FU to the Colts from their rivals. Unfortunately, we are collateral damage.

  • In reply to hollywood1:

Solder gone too! Hang on Carimi!

  • In reply to MikeBrownhadaPosse:

    I digress, but:

What the hell is up with Gruden's hair? Wow.

  • In reply to MikeBrownhadaPosse:

Pouncey going to fins. Damn - I hate always being right lol

I still don't think he's as good as his brother (small proof that human will and not just Nature and Nurture are deterministic), ironic in that he got picked higher

Still, he's better than anyone we got.

  • In reply to MikeBrownhadaPosse:

I love Kerrigan but I see Mike Mamula. 6 average years and retirement. But what do i know....

I do know that Ponder is fucking dead. I also know that we will run a lot of 3 step drops against the Lions. Their front line is angry but their Db's suck balls still.

  • In reply to hollywood1:

I think hes better than Mamula.

  • In reply to iamndmurff:

agreed. maybe it's just because he is white. all you whites look the same!

  • In reply to iamndmurff:

Liuget a 3-4 defensive lineman? Don't know about that...

  • In reply to iamndmurff:

    and the prince to G-men

  • In reply to iamndmurff:

Giants pass on a lineman. Good for us?

  • In reply to iamndmurff:

yes, i don't know why but i feel that we already have Prince Amukamara on our team. He just needs to step up. He even went to Nebraska.

  • In reply to hollywood1:

Think Bowman can take that next step?

  • In reply to iamndmurff:

god i hope so. he was a bad ass player in college.

  • In reply to iamndmurff:

We actually might get a decent prospect this year boys! still a lot of talent on that board

  • In reply to Joseph:

with all this talent, if we trade down i will vomit.

  • In reply to hollywood1:

    I would shit a microwave

  • In reply to hollywood1:

    waffle..DON'T EVEN GO THERE

  • In reply to hollywood1:

JA DON'T FUCK THIS UP IF O-LINE is there

  • In reply to hollywood1:

We just gotta hope the Chiefs, the Colts and the Eagles skip on an OT, that other teams go for need more than best player available, and that some qb starved team gets desperate and trades back into the first.

  • In reply to hollywood1:

Colts are chomping for an o-linemen

  • In reply to hollywood1:

I've been sitting here thinking the same thing. If I watch this whole fucking show and we trade down I will be so pissed.

  • In reply to iamndmurff:

    They're not that stupid. Really.

  • In reply to hollywood1:

    solder goes to colts #$!@$##!@%$#!@%#!@!#@

  • In reply to nicholsra:

    not solder

  • In reply to nicholsra:

    I mean costanzo ^!%@#$%^!$%^$!##$

  • In reply to nicholsra:

Peyton Hillis just looks like a bad motherfucker

  • In reply to nicholsra:

    Solder long gone lobo

  • In reply to iamndmurff:

I know bro I jumped wrong player

  • In reply to iamndmurff:

    I mean costanzo ^!%@#$%^!$%^$!##$

  • In reply to nicholsra:

    Knew ya meant Costanzo! :)

  • In reply to iamndmurff:

if all our o-linemen get picked and Bowers is available or Ayers do we go with them?

  • In reply to hollywood1:

    yep

  • In reply to nicholsra:

Bears will get screwed somehow and all next picks will be O-line. Fuck

  • In reply to Joseph:

    Bite your tongue Joseph

  • In reply to Joseph:

J...I'm afraid of the cheata-check right befroe us..he'd grab a linemen just to FUBAR us!

  • In reply to Joseph:

I'm getting sick to my stomach

  • In reply to Joseph:

    hang in joseph

  • In reply to Joseph:

I think the Jake Locker and Phil Taylor picks ruined everyone's chances at the 10 million dollar Bud light prize

  • In reply to Joseph:

    Yeah, have to go Bowers

  • In reply to Joseph:

F ME watkins gone mother fu%$#@$!@%^$!@#%^$!@#$!@#k reid you fuck

  • In reply to nicholsra:

    how do you know?

  • In reply to hollywood1:

he was on the phone while the eagles are on the board..watching NFL network

  • In reply to Joseph:

Is this Watkins kid any good?! Damn, should of done my homework this year. I blame my Balls...I mean Bulls :)

  • In reply to Joseph:

Can't believe Castonza lasted that long.

We're might have to trade up a few places for Carimi, or be content with Sherrod or Watkins.

  • In reply to KissMyButkus:

Sherrod reminds me of Chris Williams. Lacks a mean streak.

  • In reply to iamndmurff:

Yeah, Sherrod is soft, passive. But it might be him or Bowers or trading down - or knowing Jerry, even Jimmy Smith CB Or Johnathan Baldwin WR or Martez Wilson ILB.

  • In reply to KissMyButkus:

    Scratch Watkins out.

    I'm getting antsy.

Carimi, Sherrod only first round graded Tackles left, if that.

And Bowers is still there giving Jerry a man-boner.

  • In reply to KissMyButkus:

I repeat. if we trade down with all this fucking talent left on the board i will VOMMMMMITTTTTT!!!!!

  • In reply to KissMyButkus:

    Stinkin no good Eagles

  • In reply to iamndmurff:

    HATE the Eagles. Hate them.

  • In reply to KissMyButkus:

watkins GONE !@#$!@#%^$!@#%^$^%!$@# as i said

  • In reply to KissMyButkus:

New Orleans goes with Bowers???? Alex Brown out the door?

  • In reply to KissMyButkus:

    Trade up Jerry, Trade up!

  • In reply to iamndmurff:

    JA FUCK ME TRADE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • In reply to iamndmurff:

That Danny Watkins seems like a cool guy. Too bad he's going to the Eagles.

  • In reply to sjvl:

yep...they said it hard worker and a fighter...does anyone think that's what we may have needed for the front line..instead we have PUSSIES for a line FUCK ME

  • In reply to nicholsra:

Hang on hang on!!! We're almost there!

  • In reply to Joseph:

AHHHH maybe not. With our luck he is hurt worse than everyone thought. We need a FOR SURE starter

  • In reply to nicholsra:

Isnt this Taylor a surprise pick?

  • In reply to iamndmurff:

kind of, when they let Shaun Rogers go i was thinking they would need to get another big body in there. mission accomplished.

  • In reply to iamndmurff:

yup, but they let Rogers go in the offseason so they wanted a big body to replace him

  • In reply to iamndmurff:

    as i said earlier castonzo

  • In reply to iamndmurff:

Yes! Thank you for slipping to the Giants Amukamara!

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    ponder ponder WTF!!!!! hehehehehehehehehehe

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    Holy Shit, Vikings take Ponder......WOW

  • In reply to MB30SD:

holy shit, thjat camera man is like 7 feet tall!

  • In reply to MB30SD:

I think Kiper has him going in the 4rth round.

Von Miller is the man. Mark my words, Derrick Thomas part Deux (if he stays healthy)

  • In reply to MB30SD:

With the 203 pick of the 1983 draft, Richard Dent. Got me a Bears shirt on tonight.

  • In reply to TheFifth:

1965 going 3rd overall to the chicago bears, dick butkus. Next on the clock, the chicago bears. The picks in...Gale Sayers, 4th overall.

    One can dream...

  • In reply to MB30SD:

first 5-7 picks not very exciting... pretty set.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Bengals not choosing a QB is pretty balsy considering Palmer is gone and no FA is for sure.

I sense they're going to trade back into the first.

  • In reply to KissMyButkus:

either that or try to keep that clown.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

The Panthers better pray his nickname doesn't become

    Isuck Newton.

  • In reply to Albertintucson:

    LOL. Good one, Al.

  • In reply to Albertintucson:

    nice Al!

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Think the skins @10 will pick Amukamara (cb), but who the hell guessed Gabbert would be there still? Might be too tempting to pass up.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    Gabbert to Jags...

  • In reply to nicholsra:

    Gabbert think...oh fuck me

  • In reply to nicholsra:

at least the Jags are a smash mouth team with MDJ, so that may take a little pressure off Gabbert, kinda like Matty Ice w/Falcons...who knows...

  • In reply to KissMyButkus:

Makes me think Garrard is a goner. You don't trade up in the first for a guy to sit for two years.

  • In reply to KissMyButkus:

    Fairley doesn't look happy

  • In reply to hollywood1:

It is Detroit. He probably was looking for a high profile city. Party Time!

  • In reply to KissMyButkus:

The fates are conspiring in our favor - this bizarre run on QB's, I love it!

  • In reply to MikeBrownhadaPosse:

If I was a Vikings fan I would be livid about living in Minnesota and for taking Ponder. PONDER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DEAD!!!!!!!!!!!

  • In reply to MikeBrownhadaPosse:

    +1 fingers crossed!

  • In reply to iamndmurff:

We're getting in range. Stay on target, stay on target.

  • In reply to MikeBrownhadaPosse:

MBP, i feel a run on OL coming. I hope someone will take That TCU qb and prince so we can get Carimi. He is angry. I like angry. Punch Fairley in the fucking mouth.

  • In reply to hollywood1:

We have a legit shot at Carimi and the name I'm not gonna say cause I don't want to jinx it.

  • In reply to MikeBrownhadaPosse:

dont' jink it you bastard!!! don't even think it!!!

  • In reply to hollywood1:

I like Pouncey but not for the Fins.

  • In reply to MikeBrownhadaPosse:

He joins Jake Long down there.

  • In reply to MikeBrownhadaPosse:

Seattle might get revenge on us and go O-line...or maybe they just need an O-line?

  • In reply to Joseph:

I know...Ja you should be on you f-ing ipad.iphone fuckphone I don't give a shit but you better be working it NOW!!!!

  • In reply to nicholsra:

    Amen broham

  • In reply to Joseph:

I think I'm going to throw up. You guys are making me nervous.

  • In reply to MikeBrownhadaPosse:

We need to trade up for Carimi, NOW.

He's gonna tempt some team b4 us.

  • In reply to KissMyButkus:

cheata-check is breathing heavy right now

  • In reply to KissMyButkus:

What about Jimmy Smith if O-line is gone?

  • In reply to Joseph:

    probably to ravens

  • In reply to Joseph:

What does Valium do to you again?

  • In reply to Joseph:

Just remember to chase it with Maddog 50/50. Goes down best that way.

  • In reply to gpldan:

gp...everclear go for the burn baby

  • In reply to Joseph:

Chiefs still can get Carimi at 27!

  • In reply to Joseph:

The Patties are gonna steal Carmini and stick him next to Logan Mankins just to rub it in...

  • In reply to gpldan:

that's what im saying gp..typical gangbang by cheata-chec

  • In reply to gpldan:

    Oh shit no GP.

  • In reply to gpldan:

I'm now turned off to Sherrod and want Bowers if available. I know we need O-linemen so badly but i have a bad feeling that he is Williams part two. Pats are going to fuck everyone and grab Carimi. IT's all about Offensive stalwarts upfront. Sick HOGS can put Emmitt Smith in the Hall of Fame.

  • In reply to hollywood1:

    but the knee...the knee

  • In reply to nicholsra:

cheata check is pull the pants down and has a smurk on his face going to fuck a bear tonight

  • In reply to nicholsra:

    I will throw up.

  • In reply to nicholsra:

please baby jebus my favorite of all jebuses make JA TRADE UP!!!!

  • In reply to nicholsra:

    can anyone say clusterfuck!

  • In reply to nicholsra:

    Wow...Baldwin gone!

  • In reply to nicholsra:

    26 chiefs take baldwin

  • In reply to nicholsra:

what the fuck???? Baldwin gone. KC needed a WR

  • In reply to nicholsra:

but they were 27 CLUSTERFUCK AND PHONES FLYING

  • In reply to nicholsra:

ravens wtf happened they were 26 in front of kc

  • In reply to nicholsra:

bears were trying to trade up to take Carimi but fucked something up.

  • In reply to hollywood1:

Read Angelo. The man that went with Pepe Le Peu over James Starks. The moment of truth is here ...

  • In reply to hollywood1:

HOLY SHIT I JUST SHOT MY WAD!!!!!!!!!

  • In reply to hollywood1:

    Big sigh.

  • In reply to hollywood1:

    Now Neon? OH COME ON!

  • In reply to hollywood1:

[it will be horrible if I write all this and we don't take Carimi...]

Well, the very first suggestion was that we would take Carimi. People thought Carimi would go at 15 and we'd need to take Pouncey, but it turned out the opposite was true.

This is a good solid pick who I hope turns out better than Chris Williams. We've got a good team for him Gabe to join. They're saying he'll need to play above his level a bit to be a true LT, but he and Webb can compete for the spot and I'll be just fine.

I'm hoping we go CB or RB in the second or third round, plus a guard. There are some really quality guys available to help out in the secondary and we could concievably get a amazing fullback to help out Forte. With Forte on the edge and a big man lead blocking and pounding the middle, our run game will get even stronger.

I doubt we're going to get a high WR pick. There are already too many gone early.

And I won't complaint about DT at all.

  • In reply to hollywood1:

    f-in a man...announce the pick already!

  • In reply to hollywood1:

HALF WAD SHOT NOW GET ME ANOTHER GUARD

  • In reply to hollywood1:

Omlette gets to back up both tackle spots. Carimi-Williams-Kreutz-Garza-Webb

  • In reply to gpldan:

    free agent??

  • In reply to gpldan:

    BOOOOYAAAHHH!!!
    Got him

  • In reply to hollywood1:

Hear Mayock? Webb to RT? Carimi on the right? We'd better draft a QB next.

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

    IIIIIIIIIIIRRRRRRRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • In reply to hollywood1:

JA...baby jebus gave you the insight to do the right thing!!!!!

  • In reply to nicholsra:

I do believe you're still short two guards there Lobo, but at least they'll have friends to play with.

  • In reply to nicholsra:

Can't believe Carimi fell that far. The football gods are smiling on the Bears.

  • In reply to nicholsra:

They have a lot of trust in Webb.

    Webb-Williams-Kreutz-Garza-Carimi

That is the line up at the moment.

  • In reply to Bears85Sweetness23:

Hopefully we can add a guard/tackle or two in FA. I still don't trust Webb at all.

  • In reply to jbenton:

he was a rookie. maybe he will improve. never know.

  • In reply to hollywood1:

I hate that never know though. One never know could lead Cutler to the IR.

  • In reply to jbenton:

    true

  • In reply to hollywood1:

There's no five techniques left? Time to get Lobo a guard.

  • In reply to hollywood1:

Can't learn speed. He is one fat, slow mofo.

  • In reply to Bears85Sweetness23:

I worry a lot about that line still. Webb and Carimi won't be elite, but they will be solid on the outside. But that inside is going suffer. Williams or Garza (or both) will look bad. Kruetz's body will give out eventually. We need to get some bodies in the interior.

  • In reply to Bears85Sweetness23:

That wasn't baby jebud lobo that was mike tice ... and common sense.... for fucking once. Woo hoo!

  • In reply to Bears85Sweetness23:

And I have to agree with Rich Eisen. Great to talk football for 4 hours. I hope this mess is over soon.

  • In reply to Bears85Sweetness23:

Human fucking turnstile at left tackle. Hernia at LG. Undersized, slow center. Right guard shot to fuck. Promising rookie at RT. There can be no quick fixes to clusterfuck management.

Ryan Mallet to the Bungles anyone?

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

A lot of work to do Irish. A lot of work to do.

  • In reply to Bears85Sweetness23:

Glad to see the Packers pick Sherrod. Should have been a mid to late 2nd rounder in my book. Peppers is going to light his ass up.

  • In reply to nicholsra:

Whew!!!! Ok. Now what, a WR?

  • In reply to nicholsra:

Moffit at guard next. That entire Wisconsin line could have done better than our o-line last year. Road graders.

  • In reply to jbenton:

I would love to grab Moffit in 2. That would be great.

  • In reply to gpldan:

That would be ideal. I doubt Angelo goes o-line again until late. He got one o-lineman and will think the line will be all good.

  • In reply to gpldan:

Ok. Fuck the Packers. I didn't need the highlight reel, nor the current blowjob going on right now. Pick and move on.

  • In reply to gpldan:

    +1
There's no one to replace Tommie that's left. Carimi/Moffit would be sweet.

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

Agreed Irish. Cullen Jenkins in FA. Guard needs to be a priority.

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

What a crazy ass draft. Last year, there was one maybe two WTFs! - today, there were like 4 WTF moments...Who ever predicted this draft for the 10mil is Nostradamus.

  • In reply to KissMyButkus:

My favorite WTF moment had to be No. 12. And with the 12th pick in the 2011 NFL draft, the Minnesota Vikings select........ Christian Ponder???? WTF.

  • In reply to jbenton:

And then Seattle reaching to get Carpenter. Not a terrible pick but way too early on someone that would have been there in round 2.

  • In reply to jbenton:

    +1

I called my seahwaks buddy and jest went, dude, wtf was that????

He was like, no fucking clue.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Aldon Smith to 9ers, Jake Lockear to Titans ahead of Gabbert, Solder ahead of Castonzo, Falcons giving up their left nut for Julio Jones, Ingram falling that far and Bowers falling out of 1st completely.

    Nuts.

  • In reply to jbenton:

know what fairly is going to bust tommie-style. he's going to get a taste of mo money and will not work out... I hope.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Did you see the look on his family's face when they heard he was going to Detroit? It was priceless

  • In reply to Joseph:

    yeah Joe. Fuck detroit.

  • In reply to Joseph:

it is safe to say he was not pleased.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

So JA finally let Tice have the first pick. Only thing he could have done. If he HADN'T picked GabbyC, what would we have said?

Fuck Angelo, keep letting Tice pick please!

  • In reply to MB30SD:

btw, did you guys hear tht dick Jauron is the new DC for Clevland?

  • In reply to MB30SD:

I hope he's nowhere near anything Tommie was early in his career. Can you imagine our o-line trying to block Suh and Fairly? That scares me.

  • In reply to jbenton:

    stop it!

  • In reply to jbenton:

btw (again), how in thee FUCK do we end up pick at 30 (or 29) in every single fucking (important) rd? Jesus, did you see NE's pick spots? Fuuuuck man. Frustrating.

Think we'll get as lucky in the second as we did in the first? hope so.

  • In reply to jbenton:

Fuck them in the face. It's us against GB again this year. Christian Ponder????????? Fuck, that choice made Angelo look like a magician.

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

IT WAS A GREAT NIGHT BOYS. NEED A SOLID 2ND AND 3RD ROUND THEN BREAK OUT THE FUCKING WALLET FOR FREE AGENCY. THIS IS OUR DIVISION. PACKERS HAVE TALENT BUT SO DO WE.

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

=1 irish I STILL WANT MY TWO GUARDS!

  • In reply to gpldan:

media is going to jump all of KC's tweet about offensive linemen.

  • In reply to gpldan:

Good call guys. The "experts" say Moffitt in round 3-4. Let's get him in 2. I think he's going to be better than Carimi as a pro.

  • In reply to TheFifth:

I love the experts in " " Corm. It just goes to show you, their picks are about as accurate as something we could put out there. It's just wild guesses. Lets hope our front office isn't dumb enough to listen to anything the so called experts are saying.

  • In reply to jbenton:

Two big-ass WRs go in the top 6? Looks like it's not just fantasy football where their value has risen.

Are we sold on Henry Melton being a stud in Tommie's place. DT in rd 2 please.

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

    Cullen Jenkins

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

Unless it's Paeia(or however you spell it) from Oregon I say Guard, corner or WR. I want Cullen Jenkins in FA.

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

Carimi! The guy I originally thought would fall to us, but then shot up mock drafts, but now is on our team!

Man, those commercial breaks were brutal.

Carimi, Webb and Williams in a battle royal for LT. All bets are welcome.

    Negatives: Carimi not athletic enough
    Webb not experienced enough
Williams - too much of a pussy.

But Carimi is one tough SOB, and like the Sergeant in Full Metal Jacket says, guts is enough.

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

    aaron williams maybe?

  • In reply to jbenton:

Would not be upset about that pick at all.

  • In reply to nicholsra:

    saints trade from patriots

  • In reply to hollywood1:

Remember, this is JA we're talking about.

  • In reply to hollywood1:

@AdamSchefter Ravens were ready to make a deal w/ the #Bears, then Chi balked & clock ran out, causing Baltimore to miss turn

  • In reply to Joseph:

    sounds like chi premature ejac

  • In reply to Joseph:

Worked out for us anyway. We didn't want Ingram, and we need Carimi more than WR or CB.

  • In reply to Joseph:

    Pick is coming

  • In reply to Joseph:

maybe Angelo made a smart play and saved us draft picks???? am i defending Angelo??? maybe.

  • In reply to hollywood1:

    Carimi?

  • In reply to hollywood1:

IT"S TRUE JOSEPH WE HAVE CAMIRI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • In reply to hollywood1:

Yes Waffle, sounds like that was the case.

  • In reply to hollywood1:

He gambled, and got lucky this time. Still, he doesn't have a good track record.

I don't like passively praying a targeted player falls to us - neither do the Pats, Pack, Ravens, Colts, and other teams who are championship caliber.

  • In reply to Joseph:

The pick is in!!! Let's have it!

  • In reply to Joseph:

    FUCKING COMMERCIAL REALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • In reply to nicholsra:

JA GET ME A FUCKING OLINE MEN NOW BITCH!!!!

Pats just stockpiled more picks. Belichek is being blown by trashy Boston whores as we speak as he wears a Caesar outfit

  • In reply to hollywood1:

I wish I were him tonight hehehehehehehehehe

  • In reply to nicholsra:

Pat's have 3 second round fucking picks tomorrow

  • In reply to hollywood1:

Something tells me that the Pats are gonna stock pile picks for next year, then give up like 3 first round picks for Andrew Luck, who starts in 2014.

    If there's a football season
And if the world doesn't end, naturally.

  • In reply to nicholsra:

    sometimes you just gotta say:

    what the fuck

  • In reply to nicholsra:

umm...screen shot of Jimmy Smith. Huge fucking dude playing corner.

  • In reply to hollywood1:

  • In reply to Joseph:

    Wow Seattle made a reach

  • In reply to iamndmurff:

    pulled a vi-queen...checkmate

  • In reply to Joseph:

    Carpenter? seahawks? who knew

  • In reply to MikeBrownhadaPosse:

If GB gets Ingram, that wouldn't be good news for the Bears

  • In reply to Joseph:

They won't, they have Grant and the dude we were supposed to pick before JA wasted the pick on LePew who had no place on the roster. fucking Angelo.

  • In reply to Joseph:

There was some contest for one million bucks if you picked the entire first round exactly correct.

Christian Ponder just made sure nobody wins that money.

  • In reply to gpldan:

Whoops, I duped Waffle. That fucker beat me to the punch again. :-)

  • In reply to gpldan:

leave it to the queens to be drama-queens

  • In reply to gpldan:

christian fucking ponder. Everyone in Minnesota collectively screamed WHY! at the same time

  • In reply to gpldan:

    Seahawks need to pick Austin
    Ravens J Smith

    Pats Ingram

  • In reply to MikeBrownhadaPosse:

Carmini still there. That Big 10 stock taking a dump right from the bell.

  • In reply to KissMyButkus:

Shit just got hella real! Lions ain't fuckin playin! Dammmmmit man!

  • In reply to KissMyButkus:

Lions front four is looking tough. We better get linemen

  • In reply to nicholsra:

If Prince is there for Lions at 12, how could they not pick him?

  • In reply to KissMyButkus:

IF he passes Texans, which he prob won't

  • In reply to iamndmurff:

    murph +1

  • In reply to nicholsra:

we're gonna need one more than ever now. That Lions Dline just got a whole lot nastier.

  • In reply to iamndmurff:

holy fucking shit. PONDER!?! Barring total disaster, we will have one of our offensive linemen. If i was a Vikings fan I would be pissed.
Detroit with a solid pick in Fairley.

  • In reply to iamndmurff:

Fairely to lions...we need a FUCKING O-LINE NOW JA YOU BITCH!!!!

  • In reply to nicholsra:

    Fairely, Suh, and Vanden Botch...man.

  • In reply to KissMyButkus:

    Takin Pouncey

  • In reply to nicholsra:

    Fins gonna take Pouncey?

  • In reply to iamndmurff:

    he gone

  • In reply to iamndmurff:

    Crap.

    Will Carimi last til 29?

  • In reply to iamndmurff:

Man, the Vikings brain-trust screws it up...again.
They are the gift that keeps on giving.

    Immobile - check.
    Bum shoulders - check.
If he gets a chance to start ahead of Webb next year, it won't be for long playing against the NFC North defenses.

  • In reply to MikeBrownhadaPosse:

No one's blowing the horn in Minny now ha ha ha.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Draftstravaganza (alright, no more spamming ;)

OK, for all you draft addicts, or for those who have lives outside football and can't make the time to read every scouting report (shame on you), here's the ultimate cheat-sheet for draft day from ProFootballWeekly.
