Bears to Play Bucs in London Next Season

Reports are now being confirmed that the Bears will travel to London in 2011 to play the Bucs in what will be a Bucs home game.  The exact date of the contest will be released with the remainder of the schedule.

Also announced today was the preseason schedule, which will feature the Bears in two high-profile national television slots.  They will face the Rams in the Hall of Fame Game on the evening of August 7 on NBC.  They will then wait fifteen days before facing the Giants at the New Meadowlands, Monday night August 22, on ESPN.

  • Oh yeah, that Murph... yeah... right on that one. London... maybe the bears can get in on the royal wedding thing huh?

    LOL

  • Holy shit... never mind labor... I don't have any use for this, but I am seriously considering buying it anyway: http://uncrate.com/stuff/worx-jawsaw/

Can you imagine some poor fuck breaking into your house and sheering off his arm with this bad boy? Sweet!

As an avid chain-sawer, I am appalled. Looks bad ass though.

    MB..hows the fam?

  • In reply to nicholsra:

Good lobo, thanks for asking man. Little guy's almost on a bottle with formula... then we're freeeeeeee! Well, kinda.

    How's the lobo clan?

  • In reply to MB30SD:

nice..then daddy can saddle up again!

all good for the lobo clan! thanx

  • In reply to MB30SD:

I thought she switched him to the f word a long time ago?

  • In reply to DocNitty34:

Nope, been battling through it. Little shit is alergic to EVERYTHING. She hasn't been able to eat ANYTHING but lean protein and veggies/fruit for almost 11 months total now... so my life has sucked too.

The second the little shit gets on the f word we're going to paln springs for 5 days and she's going to do her best to put on 10 lbs.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

So, your wife's been nursing all this time? It's funny because, I call my kids the little shit-bags all the time. My wife doesn't like it, but, I call em as I see em.

  • In reply to DocNitty34:

    Yep.

Ha. With you 100% man.it's done with love.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

When I saw the following teaser on Yahoo today, I broke into a cold sweat...
"Surprising team interested in Randy Moss - The eccentric receiver may be headed to one of his former team's biggest rivals."

and then it turned out we were just going to get shifted with a game in London. Those poor, poor Jets fans.

I did the same thing mbp... then I thought, naaaa.Jerry can't be THAT obtuse.... maybe green bay?

Btw, coach ... I saw that post on the last thread. Common mang.... can't do the spice any more?!?! I simply can't believe that.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

spice is a way of life. Spicy food rules. The Spice channel in the 90's ruled. The blonde chick from the Spice Girls ruled.

  • In reply to hollywood1:

    +1. See below.

  • In reply to hollywood1:

100%... especially about the food. In fact, I just watched Bizzare Foods with Andrew Zimmer in sichuan china... fuck man, even the ba by formula is spicy in that place... can't wait to go.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

I still love spicey food and I still eat it occasionally, but when I do my neighbors might hear a shrieking sound the next morning coming from the toilet..

  • In reply to MASOCHR:

    I can relate Coach

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Yeah, crazy. My dad used to take me rafting on that river where he was washed away. 380 miles away? Hope the pictures weren't ruined, or he went through all that trouble for nothing.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

5 preseason games is ludicrous. That's almost a third of the season. Cripes. On the other hand, since they don't actually hit in training camp anymore, maybe they'll actually be ready for the season this time.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

i think the media signed some contract with Jerry Jones in 2006 that stipulated that the Cowboys, no matter how inept, must be continually mentioned as contenders and on the rise in every media outlet.

  • In reply to hollywood1:

It's the same thing with the Chargers. For the last 5-6 years the talking heads talk about how much talent the Chargers have, but they never show any results.

  • In reply to TheFifth:

i know of one result that is a sure thing.

Peppers is going to fucking kill Stafford again this year.

  • In reply to hollywood1:

who fucking cares about stafford Johnny... I want Rodgers... DEAD!

  • In reply to MB30SD:

I merely mentioned that because i was extremely amused by an article indicating that his shoulder rehab is coming along nicely. Just in time to get fucked up yet again by Pep.

Rodgers is a different story. I feel like Peppers is going to have a 10 sack year and at least 2 of them will be with him reclining on top of Rodgers as Briggsy picks up the fumble and rumbles on into the endzone.

I officially announce that Rodgers is FUCKING DEAD!!!!!!

  • In reply to TheFifth:

He didn't stick the landing. Pussy.

  • In reply to hollywood1:

MB, just saw the chili pepper post. Damn man. Just damn. Not gonna lie though, I would like to try it.

I love spicy. Love it. I wonder though, for you guys who say you can no longer handle spicy, why? Is it because of your a-holes? Heart burn? Bad for your blood pressure? What? I ask because I care. Actually, it's because I'm getting older and pray to god that I don't have to stop eating spicy. So what is it?

  • In reply to DocNitty34:

Doc...everything but the high BP bro...sometimes it sucks getting old...

I do have a great friend Dine/Spanish mid fifties and still can eat jalape

  • In reply to DocNitty34:

love number #2...fucking mooch you dip-stick... I lost respect for you last season tea-bagging Brett Girl but now your just an ass-clown in my book..

this is an interesting read though:

that was a good read Lobo.

    #8 made me LOL

exactly about romo. Fucking weak... I'd MUCH rather have Jay than romo. although romo did nail Jsimpson.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

i love that talentless bimbo. i think she looks like she would just be an animal...

This is just wrong. Not even slightly surprising, but wrong nonetheless.

Hmmm. Can't help but wonder who holds that paper.....

  • In reply to nicholsra:

Oh yeah, this fucking old, canadian firefighter has 'Round 1 Jerry Angelo Special Project' written aaaaaall over him.

I fully and completely expect this guy to be our rd 1 pick: http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/blog/dr_saturday/post/Danny-Watkins-is-going-to-the-draft-and-his-old?urn=ncaaf-wp699

  • In reply to MB30SD:

MB.....great another 1st round cluster fuck for the Bears Management..the pisser is, I think you may got it right..JA is drooling as we speak...... F-me!

  • In reply to nicholsra:

I'm still hoping beyond all hope that I am going to be shocked at the smart, strategic, functional draft that JA pulls out of his ass this year. I will be more than happy to eat (some) crow, unfortunately, I simply don't see it happening. It would be so incredibly out of character for angelo to have a spectacular (or even pedestrian) draft. I

  • In reply to MB30SD:

The key to hapiness is lowered expectations. With ya all the way MB. I never expect great from JA but it would be wonderful if he would hit above avg once in a while.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    I likey!

  • In reply to MB30SD:

i don't think this old man is a project. i think people are just down on him because he is 26 instead of 22 or 23 but who cares if he can play until he is 33 anyways. A mature 26yr old may be able to pick up the schemes faster. don't despair mang. it may work out.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    new thread

  • In reply to DocNitty34:

Doc, fucking do it mang. If you don't gain a shit load of weight, have GERD, or eat too late as you get older i'm convinced that you can rock the spicy as long as you fucking want. i'm 33 though so my theory hasn't really been tested in long term studies. i would say it is more of a strong hope right now. due eeet mang.

  • In reply to hollywood1:

They'll have to pry the spicy out of my cold dead hands. As Doc Holiday said, "I've not yet begun to defile myself".

  • In reply to DocNitty34:

one of the best movies ever, "i'm your huckleberry"

  • In reply to DocNitty34:

Not me doc... I ate super adventurously growing up and in early adulthood so I got a stomach (and ahole) like a goat.

The other day I put so much tabasco on an akmok cracker it literally made me cry. Fuck that, I'm never going without.

Conversely, my father in law can't even eat pepper. Poor bastard.

  • In reply to DocNitty34:

Doc, for me it's more of a burny hole than anything. Some heartburn. I'm pushing 60 and can still eat jalapenos and bannana peppers. Antyhing hotter than jalapenos and I have to bow out. I'll try most hot sauces but I tread lightly until I know how hot they really are.

  • In reply to CanadaBear:

Bow out, or blow out Canada?

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Bow out. Thanks for the compassion for an old Bear's fan.

  • In reply to DocNitty34:

    Chilli Spicket

  • In reply to MB30SD:

of course...i just laughed out loud in the middle of a conference call

  • In reply to MB30SD:

That would be good to get when your daughter starts dating.

  • In reply to DocNitty34:

OOOOHHHHH!!!! Doc. Great fucking idea! I am buying it tonight!

  • NEVER a fan of the Bears and 5 preseason games. too much of a chance for an injury, even if it is a player not making the team. Still they use the starters even for a minute and they could get hurt when the games don't matter. Any bloggers got stats out there on how well teams do when they play 5 preseason games?

Next, not a big fan of taking games outside the US either, but at least both teams suffer the travel.

  • Repeating from thew last thread

"Wud yuh loik some crumpits with ya warm beer durin' the gime, guvna?"

I SOOO hate that London game.

  • In reply to Albertintucson:

    Freakin' Red Coats.

  • In reply to nicholsra:

    witha braut on this soid

  • In reply to shonbear:

    hehehehehe

  • not a fan of the long travelling. That is too many pre-season games. Cutler and Forte had better not even step on the field. Their was a huge injury in last years HOF game i think.

  • In reply to hollywood1:

I'm thinking send in the scabs for the pre-season..hehehehehe

  • In reply to hollywood1:

    http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=5448006&source=NFLHeadlines

yep, injuries in August would fucking suck. I say we bring back Collins just for the HOF game to hand off to Garrett Wolfe.

The London game sucks major wang. The only good thing about it is it's not a home game for us. The Bucs are really getting fucked.
