  • First to say - bring on the fucking Seahawks.

  • My 2 favorite things about football are watching the Bears win, and watching Peyton Manning lose. First his face shows all the frustration he's feeling. The next face is the disgust at his teammates and coaches. Finally the face where he realizes they lost and looks like he is gonna cry. Nothing caps a day of football better.

THe Germans have a word for the latter:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schadenfreude

    one of my favorites...

  • In reply to tobijohn:

Those Germans have a word for EVERYTHING!

  • In reply to Shady:

No, I do not know what schadenfreude is, please tell me because I'm dying to know.

  • In reply to tobijohn:

am i violating any copyright laws doing that? Does anyone own the rights to "fear boner"? what about the picture of Hester?

  • In reply to hollywood1:

LOL, I don't think anyone has a copyright on the former but you might have to submit a photo along with your application....

  • In reply to hollywood1:

    fearboner? explain

  • In reply to Grizzly559:

Oh jesus Fres... where in thee hell have you been boy!?

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    smh.

  • In reply to DocNitty34:

    HA!

  • In reply to DocNitty34:

Have you all been watching (yesterday and today) what a high 1st round DB can do for your D?

Thomas yesterday ad Berry today... freakin studs making plays all over the place.

Hey Angelo, after you've made some brilliant back-office maneuvers and have gotten us 5 brand new olinemen, you might want to save one genius stroke for getting us one o dem high pick FSs.

    Oh, and

  • In reply to MB30SD:

1st round DB would be most folks' second choice (except the 6'10" WR crowd). But I think you gotta stick with the O-line this year. Gotta say though, if the right guy fell to #32 this year, I wouldn't hold it against Angelo one bit.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Totally read my mind MB. I almost wanted to trade my entire draft for Eric Berry. Call it the trauma from having like 20 safeties in the past 5 years. Anyhow, interestingly enough, some scouts whom I respect actually predicted that Earl Thomas would be better. Either way, they are both studs.

Luckily for us though, we stabilized our safety position to the point methinks where we can soley focus on the Oline and a WR. We just need to get Manning signed - though he may be the trickiest to lock-up. How many teams that are safety and special teams starved are gonna be willing to overpay for Manning?

  • In reply to KissMyButkus:

Hmmmm... I'm worried about Harris. We've had an inordinate amount of luck with injuries this year... I just know how it goes. Next year might be brutal, but hopefully it will only be a 'standard' injury year.

Major penis has been hurt more than he's played, but hopefully that will be a one year thing too. We

  • In reply to MB30SD:

True that. Safety position seems to get injured more (just ask Mike Brown or Bob Sanders), so it's paramount to re-sign Manning. Like you said, Major Penis seems injury prone (though the S Burnett whom Pack drafted ended up on IR), Harris is getting up there, and I won't feel too comfortable with Steltz back there.

Maybe they'll finally convert Peanut to FS, and promote DJ Moore to start. But that's a whole 'nother can of worms I don't even want to contemplate right now...

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Jesus, BJ Raji is a fucking LOAD.

  • In reply to KissMyButkus:

"eagles have never lost a wildcard game at home under Andy Reid"

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Anything 'under Andy Reid' is not something I care to think about.

  • In reply to KissMyButkus:

Is it possible that fudgefuckers and the iggles are sucked into the fourth dimension...maybe troy aikman's ass?

In which they meet up with Joe Buck?

My gosh Fox would sell that as a paypreview....

  • In reply to nicholsra:

Im confused, I dont know who is Blowing who in this game.

  • In reply to Grizzly559:

    fres...with Fux..does it matter?
    ...........aren't they interchangable?

  • In reply to nicholsra:

I will take out a second mortgage to pay for that, lobo.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

My brutha from anutha mutha MB! I was thinking about those two boys too, wondering when we'll draft another safety if Wright turns out to be distinctly average. Pro bowls are populated with first rounders. Period. Earliest we could draft one is three years from now. Gotta look at replacing Kreutz this year, Urlacher next year, and probably Pep the next. Make that four ... Angelo has not only been killing us since he got here, the repercussions will be felt for years to come. Superbowl or bust baby.

  • In reply to DocNitty34:

Oh and how much of a fucking stud is ray ray still? Damn.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

And Ed Reed. 10 games, 8 interceptions (league high).

  • In reply to DocNitty34:

yeah man... I would vote for his beard to go to the probowl.

  • In reply to DocNitty34:

Does anyone remeber what thread I gave my dream about on? I hope it comes true but I need the chiefs and egales to win. Jeff, wish I liked the shirt enough to buy it but I'm glad MB broke the ice because he is right.

  • In reply to Bears85Sweetness23:

Jeez. Quit pestering us about it. We're thinking.

  • In reply to DocNitty34:

A Quote for the last Wildcard game today..................... trivia do you know who it is?

"We didn't lose the game; we just ran out of time."

  • In reply to DocNitty34:

    implied lololol

  • In reply to DocNitty34:

    Erm, hello?

  • In reply to BossBear90:

    mmmyellow.

  • In reply to BossBear90:

Speaking of contest, glad I didn't pick Bowe either - ouch. 15td in reg season, ZILCH against Ravens.

I think Flacco should have kept his uni-brow - it vaguely reminded me of a raven.

  • In reply to KissMyButkus:

    Rub it in. Thanks

Was it the one where you woke up and had the head of a fly?

  • In reply to Bears85Sweetness23:

Chiefs need alotta help. This is the first time I've watched them play all year. I thought they were better than this.

  • In reply to ImissButkus:

trac.......................I thought the same thing...it starting looking good for them but.....now are being out played by the rave's

  • In reply to nicholsra:

Then again they went 2-4 in their division. Man I hate it when I don't do my homework before the games.

  • In reply to ImissButkus:

The Ravens are good, those Chiefs ain't no chumps.

  • In reply to Bears85Sweetness23:

Dreamers dream. Bears fans are dreamers. I dream. I'm a Bears fan.

  • In reply to DocNitty34:

Shit, Suggs doesn't suck either. When that D is on, it's ON!

See. Damn, talk about BEAST MODE on the INT return.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Reggie Wayne covered with a Revis duvet - crybaby - go to mamby-pamby land and do not pass Go and collect $200.

  • In reply to kenbill:

Reggie Wayne, one catch, one yard, I think. Glad I didn't pick him for the contest...

  • In reply to DocNitty34:

    FUCK MAN!

  • In reply to Grizzly559:

    http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Fear%20Boner

  • In reply to tobijohn:

I love that word! Joy in another's misery...some German words are just funny though, "you wanna play with my glockenspiel?"

  • In reply to KissMyButkus:

    no thanks

  • In reply to KissMyButkus:

Two Solid AFC games next week. Both divisional matchups. One of my favorite modern matchups is Ravens vs Steelers. You KNOW it's war from the first whistle.

  • In reply to DocNitty34:

    I hate war Doc.

  • In reply to ImissButkus:

Me too. Except when used as a metaphor.

  • In reply to iamndmurff:

Even when the game was well within his reach he was sitting slumped on the sidelines head down in a fashion that would get Sanchize fined a million dollars. What is it now, 10 trips to the playoffs? One superbowl victory in which he was brutal. #1 choker of all-time. The anti-Otto Graham.

  • My picks yesterday were an all around cluster you know what. What a day gents. Seahawks may very well be coming to ChiTown. Ooooohrah. They will be a team to reckon with though and they will not be a push over based on how they played yesterday.

  • In reply to ImissButkus:

You're right, but the fact that the Hawks gave up 475 yards on defense is an auspicious sign. I say the only way we lose that matchup is if Martz goes into retard mode again.

  • In reply to Ufficio:

retard mode... sweet. they have that on PS3?

  • In reply to MB30SD:

I think it's on by default.

  • In reply to MikeBrownhadaPosse:

    For me maybe

  • In reply to MB30SD:

I got shellacked by my tween nephew last night in Madden 10 - he kept running quick tosses against zone coverage. And scored 3 TDs with it.
So that was a shot at self-deprecation there.
Thankfully I think most online players have moved to 11 so I will only get embarrassed by family members.

  • In reply to MikeBrownhadaPosse:

Hey, I'm with you Mike. I still own Madden 10, for the same reason you do - I don't feel like paying 60bucks just so I can play with Major Wright or Peppers.

I'll just wait for Madden 12, when the Bears will be at 95 team overall, after beating the Pats in the SB...

  • In reply to KissMyButkus:

Madden 08 - keepin' it real.

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

Madden 07 is my workout joint because i keep the xbox in that room

  • In reply to MikeBrownhadaPosse:

Dang, I just caught myself yelling "injure his ass!" when an Eagles hit Rodgers, then remembered that I picked him as my QB for the contest!

This is why I don't play fantasy football lol

Us playing the Seahawks further complicates it...talk about conflict of interest...

  • In reply to KissMyButkus:

I picked him to. Looks like he will making some points for us today

  • In reply to Grizzly559:

If Jones didn't drop that TD 60yd strike, we would've been rolling in points Fres...like Scrooge McDuck when he used to swim thru his gold coins...

  • In reply to KissMyButkus:

    hahaha

  • In reply to MikeBrownhadaPosse:

If that Starks kid starts getting it going at HB for GB, that spells trouble...

  • In reply to MikeBrownhadaPosse:

I feel really bad for Jackson sittin out with his bum knee. Oh, wait a minute. No I don't.

  • In reply to mikev:

Maybe the title "best returner" can help heal his knee...

  • In reply to mikev:

Eyeburn is a TD chucker today. Does he have those Kramer shoes from Jimmy?

  • In reply to mikev:

Damn, Vick has a fucking cannon

  • In reply to MB30SD:

He can throw the ball pretty hard too. Bada-bing!

  • In reply to Ufficio:

Hey- we're not the only team in the NFL that can't score from 1st and goal on the 1!

  • In reply to Ufficio:

So how about some Champeenship game prognostications y'all? Here are mine:

AFC: NE v Baltimore (I was tempted to pick Pitt, but they've been so up and down this year - will 'The Hair' be paying?)

    NFC: Bears v ATL

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    Ravens V Pats
    Bears v Packers

    SB Bears v Pats

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    AFC : Same. Pats win.

NFC : Bears v GB. I hate to imagine the worst scenario happening.

I don't know which would be worse, GB beating us in Soldier field and getting into the SB, or the Pats beating us 46-10.

  • Just want to caution our fearless leader in downplaying the Seahawks victory by saying the Saints D is horrible. The Seahawks overcame two 10 pt deficits and did what they had to to win the game. It was a well deserved victory and they earned it.

  • I know some people re doing it.... But I just can't bring myself to root for the fudge. I'm just hoping for a slugfest that will leave both teams badly bloodied.

  • In reply to Jlehr:

    agreed.

  • D-D-DDDD Go Pack Go!!! cough. gag. barf.

I hate the Fudge, but I hate the Eagles more. I know I am repeating myself, but my dream scenario today:

Packers up by 10 in the 4th quarter....some big Eagles dude hands Mr. Rodgers his third and season-ending concussion. Peckers win, Eagles....DEAD.

Brings a tear to my eye just thinking about it.

  • In reply to sjvl:

I must say, I couldn't think of any scenario in which I would have the packers winning and like it. But, THIS I would enjoy watching!!!

  • In reply to sjvl:

No way in hades the hawks play like that two weeks in a row. Such a monumental rise-up game for them. The ONLY thing I'm worried about next week is the dreaded and historied flat post-bye game. We simply can't do that.

We don't have to play our best game of the year, but we better start our 3 game ascent to perfection next Sunday. All 3 phases boys all 3 phases.

  • In reply to sjvl:

Can't ever and won't ever root for those mf's to win anything except the season-ending injury sweepstakes, but I can root for the eagles to lose I guess... although come game time I know myself and I know I'll be screaming in joy up every time the eagle smack the shit out of the packers.

Also, just a thought... As the saying goes, be careful what you wish for.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

You guys are smart - any way for a double elimination? Now that would be terriffic.

  • In reply to sjvl:

JFK once said when you're the President, there are no good decisions you can make, only bad ones and worse ones. This is one of those situations...

  • In reply to tobijohn:

Well said and undoubtedly true in this situation.

  • Peter King was 0-2 yesterday in his picks. Today he's got the Ravens and Packers. Looks like the Bears get the Eagles next week while KC travels to Pittsburgh.

  • In reply to willrice51:

    Crystal Ball?

  • In reply to willrice51:

    Go Chiefs!

  • In reply to Mastodon:

    Wholeheartedly agreed.

  • In reply to willrice51:

Reggie Wayne isn't the only one upset he didn't get any love from Manning yesterday. I picked him as my WR.

    http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/01/09/reggie-wayne-upset-with-lack-of-passes-his-way-on-saturday-night/

  • In reply to willrice51:

Peter King missed on predictions?!?!??! I am shocked and awed sir, completely shocked and awed.

  • In reply to willrice51:

    Hey Jeff,

We of course want to support this site, since it

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Gotta agree. I second what MB said, and as a woman, I just don't think an arrow pointing at my crotch is the message I want to send. I would love to support the site - this is the only place my Bears fandom doesn't get me in trouble with 'friends', but I not wearing Wanny and the pope thing just gives me the willies...

  • In reply to sjvl:

lucky this isn't an oregon state football blog huh sj?

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Not sure what that means, MB, but I'll take your word for it.

  • In reply to sjvl:

It was a crass joke sj, here's the OS site, I'll let you figure out how it would relate to the picture of a bear with an arrow pointing down (hint - check out their mascot): http://www.osubeavers.com/sports/m-footbl/orst-m-footbl-body.html

  • In reply to MB30SD:

I was thinking Ducks, but yes, now I definitely get it. And that shirt would be, um, interesting done in that mode.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

I went to OSU for a quarter right after high school. Went to The Civil War Game in Autzen a few times. I recall seeing one homemade Oregon Ducks t shirt that said, "The only Beaver I like is on a U of O Woman."

  • In reply to DocNitty34:

    Oh, I have heard them all - - -

Penn State plays 2 miles from me at Beaver Stadium, so you can just take it from there.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

May the games today be as exciting and entertaining as yesterday. If the Packers lose today, I hope it's in fashion similar to last year's OT loss to the Cardinals. I watched that game at a bar packed with fudgers last year. The place was going nuts at the start of OT, then the Cards score on a fumble on the first drive and everyone went into shock. It was beautiful watching the facial expressions on all my Packer fan friend's faces.
What was even better was watching the Vikings lose the NFC Championship last year at a live music venue. The band was from NO and about five minutes after the game the band started their first set with when the Saints come marching in. Almost all the Viking asshats got up and walked out, even though the cover was like $15. What a bunch of cry babies.

  • In reply to TheFifth:

Clearly you lead a charmed life, Cor. Both situations sound very fun and satisfying.

  • In reply to sjvl:

Ufficio called it Schadenfreude above. The perfect word for my glee in those situations.

  • In reply to TheFifth:

Ahem, that was me. I make so few meaningful contributions around here, I need acknowledgement for even the small stuff. My therapist says it has something to do with my low self esteem issues....

  • In reply to tobijohn:

    Well done.

  • In reply to tobijohn:

Sorry tobi. I enjoy reading your posts.

  • In reply to tobijohn:

I hear ya Tobi. But Stuart Smalley changed my life, just look in the mirror each morning and say "I'm good enough. I'm smart enough. And doggone it, people like me."

If Stuart Smalley can face life, then so can we Tobi.

  • In reply to sjvl:

here's my idea of a shirt:

simple bears blue with an orange outline of Hester during one of his runs, underneath the picture says either G.O.A.T or Hester and the back says "Creating fear boners since 2005"

Same shirt for Peppers standing there just looking like a fucking terminator.

  • In reply to hollywood1:

haha. I want a Hester shirt thats says "SUPERMAN THAT HOE"

  • In reply to hollywood1:

    Same Hester shit but with:

    HE GONE!

But, I would rather do one with Lach and Briggs personally.

  • In reply to TheFifth:

    Jamaal Charles is sick

  • In reply to Joseph:

    Poor guy.

  • In reply to DocNitty34:

Stop it, you're killing me today.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

I'm just sayin'. We all got problems.

  • In reply to DocNitty34:

i meant with the one liners... killing me as in funny. It was a compliment.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

I know. I was continuing the joke. You ruined it. Damn you, MB.

    lololololol

  • In reply to DocNitty34:

    "HE GONE!"
    Gets me vote.

  • In reply to MikeBrownhadaPosse:

You can tell when I'm sleepy cause it sounds like a fucking leprachaun took over my keyboard.

  • In reply to MikeBrownhadaPosse:

If you catch the little bastard I'll help you get the location of his gold out of him ... I'm well versed in leprecahuns sexing it up on keyboards.

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

That's why the keys stick. Dammit.

  • In reply to MikeBrownhadaPosse:

    Nice Mike.

    HE GONE!

    ...oh, and sometimes...

    HEHATEME!

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    I loved "HEHATEME"

  • In reply to DocNitty34:

The Chiefs are playing like chumps today.

  • In reply to ImissButkus:

or, the ravens are playing well.

If the ravens win this game, I expect the Eagles to win tonight... since I flubbed BOTH games yesterday and will have called 1 or 2 sa far today.

How's that for 'the new math' Doc?

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Strong. Very Strong. The law of averages is not to be trifled with.

  • In reply to Joseph:

    Me too.

  • In reply to ImissButkus:

    poor guy

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    Flacco does not need Maaco.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    see?

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    Who, me?

  • In reply to ImissButkus:

ravens looking stroooong. Damn, I'm shocked they lost so many games this year, think about thier roster on both sides of the ball. Kinda silly. I like the ravens.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

mb...Offense's may score but Defense's win Championships

  • In reply to nicholsra:

    always lobo, always

  • In reply to nicholsra:

Oh gosh, this special on the Packers makes me wanna barf.

  • In reply to BossBear90:

I was thinking the same thing.

  • In reply to BossBear90:

    niiiiiiiiiiiice

  • In reply to nicholsra:

    Kickoff is next.

I'm off to get a beer and a barf bucket.

    yay peckers....

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Quoth the Raven blah, blah, blah Chiefs.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Ouch...KC fans emptied faster than turning a light on in a roach infested room..."click"

  • In reply to Joseph:

I've seen it a thousand times but I still laugh out loud at that Geico commercial with the drill sargeant as therapist....

  • In reply to tobijohn:

    com'n....tobijoh..."you jackwagon" hhhhhhhhhhhheeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhhhhhheeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhhe

  • In reply to nicholsra:

    My son says that's me.

  • In reply to sjvl:

Which reminds me of what one of my nephews said to his mother, my sister: "Mom, you're the opposite of fun"....

  • In reply to tobijohn:

Which is exactly what that nephew's son will tell *him* one day. And so it goes ...

  • In reply to sjvl:

Wait Wait Wait..... Desean Jackson has one Punt Return TD this year? and they were comparing him to Hester?

  • In reply to Grizzly559:

and he's writhing around in pain on the sidelines right now... like a little biatch. pussy.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

I sense some Schadenfreude? He is my WR pick in our FF contest. Lookin like I wont make the cut.

  • In reply to iamndmurff:

No, I actually like the eagles generally Murph. I'm not a 'fan' by any stretch, but if someone said what teams would you root for if you weren't a bears fan, it would most likely be the Ravens and then the eagles. Not sure why, just the way it's turned out (I think I liked McNabb).

And I really honestly can stand to see anything good happen to the fucking packers... not even a damn first down. Pisses me off. I find myself on the edge of my seat on every single play hoping to see someone fucking destroy Rodgers.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

You're hurting me now, MB. eeeeewwwww.

I feel the same (second paragraph) about the Eagles. The more horrible it is for them, the happier I feel.

  • In reply to iamndmurff:

Maclin has twice as many TDs as Jackson I think.

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

Hey Murph, I see you were a linesman - have you seen Unstoppable yet? How many station masters look like Rosario Dawson ? Okay flick, but very badly named movie.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Sorry. Cell phone is on crack right now. I apologize.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Imagine it: Drunken slobbering Packers fans in the Linc with drunken thug Eagles fans.

Methinks the in-stadium jail and court are going to busy tonight.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

shit..the ego by unibrow is going to be even bigger now....

  • In reply to Grizzly559:

yep.....they have given Dejackoff all kinds of praise!

  • In reply to nicholsra:

Dejackoff, great! I hate that fucking pussy.

  • In reply to nicholsra:

help me beat tits mcgee!!! Or vote for her.. I did lol

    http://apps.facebook.com/fourthphasepc/contests/83032/voteable_entries/13973814?ogn=facebook

  • In reply to Bears85Sweetness23:

she is hella fine. Imagine how big her nipples are and how hard they will be when she is at that coold game..hahaha U should invite her to our blog.

  • In reply to Grizzly559:

I will send her the link. She is my friend now on facebook.

  • In reply to Grizzly559:

Is she smuggling tic tacs Fres? Like fighter pilot's thumbs, eh?

  • In reply to Bears85Sweetness23:

So post the link for McGee

  • In reply to mikev:

its like page 55 or 56. You can't miss her lol

  • In reply to Bears85Sweetness23:

Nah, she got bumped down to 57 yesterday so it's probably changed again, although I'd only rate her a 6.5/7 ....

  • In reply to Bears85Sweetness23:

imagine how bit her nipps are. ooooowwwwwwwwweeeeeee

  • In reply to Grizzly559:

    BIG*

  • In reply to Grizzly559:

Ok, just stop it. You all have fear boners and you know it.

  • In reply to sjvl:

LOL!! You are awesome, SJ. I don't suppose you'd run away with me?

  • In reply to Grizzly559:

    Settled for the FG.

This game isn't going to turn around in the 2nd half, is it?

  • In reply to gpldan:

No. I am gearing up for my fourth quarter season ending third concussion for Mr. Rodgers celebration.

  • In reply to gpldan:

you know... all you guys hoping for a packers win... watching these guys from last week... building, building, building... I reeeeaaaly wish we would have fucking taken these guys out when we had the chance. And I hope the eagles win this one, because they are VERY beatable, not sure how beatable the pack will be if they keep getting better, finding a running game, gaining momentum, etc...

  • In reply to MB30SD:

that wasn;t all that clear, but you get the concept. And NO I don't have a fucking GB fear boner damn it, it's just that my worst fucking nightmare ever is losing to those motherfuckers in the NFC championship. God that would fucking suck.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

fuck, fuck, fuck (how's that Johnny)

  • In reply to MB30SD:

It would indeed fucking suck, but it wouldn't fucking suck as much as losing to the fucking Eagles and that fat ass Andy Reid.

    Whoo. I feel better now.

  • In reply to sjvl:

Wow, how can that even be possible? I know you have PTSD about that game SJ, but this is the packers we're talking about here. Common.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    It's all bad. Solution? WIN!!!!!

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Calm down MB. It isn't over yet. If Vick can come back against the Giants that quick in that short of a time then two quarters should be enough.

  • In reply to Bears85Sweetness23:

calm down? I'm calm '85, just fucking hate the packers.

  • In reply to Bears85Sweetness23:

I appreciate some of ya'll helping out though. Remember to click thumbs up.

Especially for the hot ones lol

  • In reply to Bears85Sweetness23:

Appears we can only vote once too. What's this one-man-one-vote crap?

  • In reply to Bears85Sweetness23:

"The Bears lost to the Seahawks 23-20 at Soldier Field on Oct. 17 as the Chicago offense yielded six sacks and went 0-of-12 on third down."

Martz, if I dont hear Forte's name being uttered every other play for runs and passes i'm going to fucking kill you. (figuratively)

If we are balanced we win by 14. If we go into first time 8th grader gets drunk and plays Madden 10 mode and pass 40 times I will spend all of the money in my savings account to buy a sign on a truck flat bed that says "Martz you gigantic asshole why didn't you just run the ball with Forte to win 4 extra games this year?" and will park it in front of Martz's house for a week.

  • In reply to Bears85Sweetness23:

then i will try to have an affair with his wife just to ruin his life.

  • In reply to Bears85Sweetness23:

MB, make that into a haiku

  • In reply to hollywood1:

    Beware oh Mike Martz
    Balance versus Seahawks lest
    Waffle do your wife!

  • In reply to Mastodon:

that kind of sounds like it could be in a fortune cookie.

"Beware he who instructs without balance, his wife shall be seduced by a round eye"
    Lucky Numbers 22, 23, 6, 80, 13, 54, 90

  • In reply to Bears85Sweetness23:

Does everyone with gout carry an Erlenmeyer flask? I've never noticed those on Metra or at Union Station.

I'll tell them to knock off the red wine and steak a little next time. Well, maybe not, don't want to get smacked.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

85, saw that nip-chick on the picks...U ain't winning, fo'getaboutit lol...there was another budunkadanka pic too, so it's gonna be tough sledding.

  • In reply to KissMyButkus:

Well, I tried. lol I am starting to get my school invovled and a lot of chicks want me to win over the slutty ones.

  • In reply to Bears85Sweetness23:

this should be ur strategy 85, and it may not be pretty, but it should be effective: a)Need promote on comic websites. Self-explanatory. b)promote at an ugly girl website, banking on the catty competitiveness of most women. "Hell hath no fury like a women' scorn", and there's nothing like a fatty on a laptop c) Need to promote on gay websites (to counter the straight vote that will indubitably vote for nip-chick). This is thinking outside the box, but hey, how badly do you wanna win? lol

  • In reply to KissMyButkus:

Have you noticed that some entrants have started their own facebook page asking people to vote for them ? Search for '4th phase'. Try that Artoo, get your pic up there and call it 'Send Superman to the playoffs' or some shit.

  • In reply to Bears85Sweetness23:

As much as I hate the dog killer and kind of want to play Seattle next week with GB the next week, it's causing me great feelings of conflict watching them win. I feel kind of nauseous actually.

  • In reply to Bears85Sweetness23:

btw, nice turtle neck rodgers you dildo

  • In reply to MB30SD:

you should check my reply to your reply to my reply above. The sick comment.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Nothing would be worse than that. I'd rather lose the big game than lose to the fudgers at home for the championship. But I ain't for a minute thinking we lose that game if it comes. If that's what the future holds, bring it.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Looks like GB found their RB. Ruh-roh.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

I'm hoping SJ's dream scenario comes true. Fudgers win. Rogers bell rung for a career ending concussion. I normally wouldn't wish harm on anyone like that, but these are special circumstances and I'll make an exception.

  • In reply to mikev:

    I feel ill.

  • In reply to mikev:

I am so glad that nauseating debacle is over. Michael Vick MVP my ass.

Now, kids, back to some real football....LET'S GO BEARS!!!! Fear boners are not allowed. Let's get to it.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Plus fucking one MB. I was perplexed at all the "Why don't we rest our starters in a meaningless game?" bullshit. It was a very significant game in which we could have put out maybe the best team in the NFC. GB are the only NFC team that scare me, Rodgers is awesome, way better than turtlehead. Atlanta are mildly worrying. If we don't win the Lombardi it means a brutal loss to either the Fudgers or the Pats.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Agreed. Thats why I wanted to cut the head off to the snake when we had the chance.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

We almost did MB...one TD, really, one unfortunate TO, bonehead scheme, and bad Cutler away from win...

Either way, even in the "worst case scenerio", Green Bay beats Eagles, Atlanta, playing them at Soldier Field does not scare me. Bears eliminate GB at Soldier Field to proceed to SB? WOW...Jordan always wanted to take the big shot at the end, and that would be as big as it gets, the SB would almost be anticlimactic in that scenario...

  • In reply to KissMyButkus:

85 thts Jordan..we have LIMP DICK LOVIE..aka Mr. Fear Boner himself

  • In reply to nicholsra:

Well, good thing we ended up with the #2 seed, I suppose.

  • In reply to nicholsra:

valid counter argument Lobo, luckily, he isn't on the field like Urlacher, Pepp, Briggs, Hester...

  • In reply to nicholsra:

Who's the Nostradamus who chose Starks at HB for the contest? I would like you to take over my financials...

  • In reply to nicholsra:

looks like Starks is using the Iggles as a fucking ragdoll...running game seems of come to the Fudgefuckers

  • In reply to nicholsra:

Man they need to piss test Matthews. You have some guys take a play off, he doesnt even take a second off. No matter how much I despise GB, that guys is a non stop football machine!

  • In reply to iamndmurff:

Maybe he thinks he's Bobby Bouche.

  • In reply to iamndmurff:

oh oh...Jackson returning a punt for a possible game winner - will the pack be stupid enough? they had a dry run with Hester, tune in...

  • In reply to iamndmurff:

Well, this is Vick's chance to make a statement about that MVP he wanted. 2 minutes, no timeouts, this is what we trained for boys.

  • In reply to mottystone:

And that's why he didn't win it. Brady shatters the record for passes without a pick, Vick throws it too low and game over.

Can't wait to watch the Packers and Falcons kill each other next week. Seahawks, we'll leave the light on for you.

  • In reply to mottystone:

I'm wondering if I might have the single lowest total in the fantasy playoffs. Then again, if the Seahawks won after going 7-9, maybe I deserve another shot?

  • In reply to mottystone:

Well, the Hidden Hand is pushing GB to Atlanta and the Seahawks to Chicago. If I were a betting man, I'd say it's going to be the Bears/Packers in a couple of weeks....

  • In reply to mottystone:

The #2 Seed Chicago Bears will host the worse of the two teams eligible. How's that for a dream scenario? The ball just keeps bouncing our way.

    Seattle....DEAD!

  • In reply to mottystone:

We're nine point favorites? Seems a little extreme to me.

  • In reply to Ufficio:

    yea seriously....no jinxing tho

  • In reply to Ufficio:

Out of curiosity, anyone remember what the spread was when we played them during the regular season?

  • In reply to tobijohn:

    Bears were favored by six....

  • In reply to Ufficio:

The kool-aid intoxicated kid in me says "No problem, I'll give you your stinkin' points." But the adult John says "Hmm, that seems like an awful lot (especially after what happened to the previous team they played that was favored by double digits)"...

  • In reply to tobijohn:

No way any team in the playoffs is worth a ten point spread against them. Too much parity in the NFL.

  • In reply to Ufficio:

NINE points? wow, weren't Seahawks 11 point underdogs...maybe we should send the bookies an ESPN, NFL Network link.

  • In reply to mottystone:

Bowe and McCoy failed me miserably. Hopefully Rogers' performace keeps me alive for another week....

  • In reply to tobijohn:

Hasselback and Brees both had such great games yesterday... I don't see many folks advancing without one of them.

  • In reply to tobijohn:

damn it doc, just not intelligent enough to catch on.

Sorry man, when watching games I become somewhat of a Neanderthal... just ask my wife.

  • In reply to tobijohn:

You and me both. I made it, so I assume you did too

  • In reply to mottystone:

Will Greg Jennings be complaining like Reggie Wayne about no love from his quarterback. He was my receiver. Me jackwagon.

  • In reply to mottystone:

NFC Championship Bears / Packers book it.

  • In reply to kenbill:

    beat me to it

  • In reply to iamndmurff:

    Well here come the seachickens

  • In reply to iamndmurff:

    ChickenHawks, BEWARE.

  • In reply to nicholsra:

Man, wouldn't want to lose the game on a bad step. That would suck.

  • In reply to mottystone:

But being the guy the kept Vick on the field for an extra play to hurt his ankle... that could be worse.

  • In reply to nicholsra:

Dog Killa panicked on that 2 pt try.

  • In reply to KissMyButkus:

    FU fuckdodgers

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Still expecting a monster Eagles comeback... Just watch.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    A FUCKING PLUS MB...

rather go after a whimpering Dog..

    than a pitbull pissed off.

    FUCK YOU FUDGEPACKERS

  • In reply to nicholsra:

did you see how I did that?

  • In reply to nicholsra:

    Game on!

Although, it looks like my fantasy team is tanking.

  • In reply to Grizzly559:

    http://apps.facebook.com/fourthphasepc/contests/83032/voteable_entries/13973814?ogn=facebook

Come on. Help me beat tits mcgee!!!! Just hit the thumbs up.

  • In reply to Bears85Sweetness23:

You're also under heavy pressure from Ironballs McGinty ...

Hey, see that Alexandria Gray chick in the comments section, Artoo? She was giving you 'kudos' and using your first name. Yeah, right. She wants you to poke her. On BookFace.

  • In reply to Joseph:

Does anyone remeber what thread I gave my dream about on? I hope it comes true but I need the chiefs and egales to win. Jeff, wish I liked the shirt enough to buy it but I'm glad MB broke the ice because he is right.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    Yay, Thomas Jones!!! Go Chiefs!!

  • In reply to sjvl:

    :o)

  • In reply to MB30SD:

I will say that if we get one next year that I really like, I'll probably get all three just to show solidarity.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

+1. I supported da blog last year and now everybody thinks I have a bear down there. I buy these shirts, I can see somebody going, "oh hey, Wanny, Hi Five! Go Pitt!". Sorry Jefe. This years shirts are lame.

  • In reply to DocNitty34:

    EVERYBODY?

    lol.

  • In reply to DocNitty34:

    haha.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

I run my own porn show. 5 days a week brother. It involves me, my girl, some ky, and a teddy bear......haha (joking)

The shirts are kinda Lame. After the season is over, we should all throw in opinions for new shirts. It will be are offseason thing to do.

  • In reply to Grizzly559:

    I still wouldn't buy one.

  • In reply to ImissButkus:

    why not trac?

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    Because I could do better.

  • In reply to ImissButkus:

Hence my idea about letting us throw out ideas and then pick the best one... you know, democracy.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

The Artist in me wouldn't allow it MB.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

{siren} Wasn't democracy suspended in 1933 along with the U.S. Constitution and yet to be reinstated ?

[Blog} Jebus Irish, it's Monday morning, let it go already !

Sorry. Five in the morning. She's insane.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Super Bowl Toejam, starring Rex Ryan.

    Blech.

    Take care of business Pats.

  • In reply to gpldan:

But then he'd get to feel the taste of Da-feet.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Even if they didn't suck, I couldn't afford to buy one anyway. I'm the poorest mofo on this blog - if there are any jobless on here, let me know so I can get me some of that schadenfreude happening. Don't lay on any sob stories about medicine for the kids, just about employment status being in the off position please. I'll bet that homeless, Tony Dungy-lookin voice-over guy has more money than me now.

Sorry. It's Monday. My nanny gets up at five in the frakkin morning and starts doing housework bang-bang-bangin around.

  • In reply to Grizzly559:

The way their defense is playing, I'd say one more Ravens field goal and that's it for the Chiefs....

  • In reply to tobijohn:

I don't think the Chiefs (a running team) are going to make it to 23. The Ravens are just fine as is. But I could use a Jamaal Charles 99 yard TD run to help my fantasy picks out.

  • I can't think past today. I will pick tomorrow.

  • Yea baby! Chiefs recover the fumble

  • Did Mike Brown play or coach with anybody this year? Anybody know?

  • In reply to DocNitty34:

Don't think so. KC didn't re-sign him this year. Arizona took a look at him last spring but nothing...

  • In reply to DocNitty34:

Jeez, is Dwayne Bowe even playing?

  • In reply to DocNitty34:

Hey doc... do you remember where you posted your new version of da super bowl shuffle? My brother is in town this weekend and he will totally love it.

  • In reply to bearsinwi:

    I don't remember.

    Oh, here it is,

    2011 Super Bowl Shuffle

    We're the Bears Shufflin' Crew.
Shufflin' on down, doin' it for you.

    Struttin' our stuff for everyone.
We're not here to start no trouble.
We're just here to do the Super Bowl Shuffle.

My Name is Mattie and runnin

  • In reply to DocNitty34:

oh, and in response to the mike brown question, as much as I would like to be watching him today with KC, i wanna say he's still a free agent...

  • In reply to DocNitty34:

    Crack house. Cabrini Green.

  • Gotta agree with the shirt critics Jeff. Bought one, don't wear it. Get some blog fan input. There are a bunch of smart creative folks on this blog. Use the talent that's here.

  • Agree on all three.

    AFC: Pats / Steelers,

    NFC: Bears / Packers,

The Bowl: Bears / Pats (MUCH rather have the Steelers)
