There comes a time in the season where we must start rooting against all other quality NFC teams.  That time has come.

    Hence the double 'n's

  • In reply to MB30SD:

MB, from the last thread. That guy doing the flips is crazy. How do you practice that? I got friends who like to jump off a bridge over the Mississippi, but it's only about 60 feet up and dangerous. A friend landed wrong once and didn't think he was going to surface. Had to go in after him. He coughed blood for a week. Here's a video of my buddy, the Mexican Plumber, barefooting off a low bridge backwards.

  • In reply to TheFifth:

Cor..looks like he jumped off the bridge in St. Charles on the Fox River

  • In reply to nicholsra:

I think it's off a back channel of the Wisconsin River.

  • In reply to TheFifth:

who say Mark Anderson get powned? aww shit son

  • In reply to Grizzly559:

  • In reply to Grizzly559:

I did and I said to my buddy " there you go Anderson, play like you did in chicago!"

  • In reply to Bears85Sweetness23:

    he got pancaked

  • In reply to Grizzly559:

    That gave new meaning to
"Oooh, THAT's gonna leave a MARK".

  • In reply to Bears85Sweetness23:

Jeff's Texanns of Brokeback Mountain. "Janey Gyllenhaal Whoopee-ki-yea!

My psychiatrist says I can no longer distinguish between fantasy football and real football.

Noam Chomsky references can begin a slippery slope to syntax, morphology, phonemes, ending with Jacques Derrida and "Your Baby Can Read".

  • In reply to kenbill:

Anyone notice that Chomsky has been using the term 'Conspiracy theorist'. He used to outline precisely how governments conspired against their people to action their desires. Now he's calling people 'Conspiracy theorists'. Weird. For anyone interested in Chomsky : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BhrZ57XxYJU

  • In reply to kenbill:

    computer is screwed
    hard drive or motherboard fried
    I will be back soon

  • In reply to Church:

Symptoms? Let us sort you out for free End before you drop it into a shop of 'experts' and they format your hard drive before trying to ascertain what the problem is. Seriously, you'll be still in the process of telling them what happened and they'll be already typing 'Format C:' and nodding at you ....

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

    Ah ha!

Jumping at an opty to ply his wares. Irish the IT executive. Interesting.

  • In reply to Church:

Question: Posted this Q on another site, but respect your opinions moreso, been bugging me for a while ...

    What I can

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

Shaffer was quite clearly not getting it done and they started playing the guy that has more upside. Shaffer is who he is.
Tell me you don't think they should reshuffle the line again, Irish.

  • In reply to MikeBrownhadaPosse:

And my furnace is now working again, so I'm going back to bed.

  • In reply to MikeBrownhadaPosse:

    Furnace? What's that?

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    God bless midwestern winters.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    NFL Network...

SB Classics Super Bowl XX... on now!!!

  • In reply to MikeBrownhadaPosse:

    Morning lads.

Totally off topic, but I just have one question for you:

    http://www.cnn.com/2010/LIVING/12/02/nerd.or.geek/index.html?hpt=Sbin

Check #9, and read the caption. Holy nerdy-chic batman!

  • In reply to MB30SD:

MB..I always was a little freaked about the Original Geek:

The term "geek" originally referred to the carnival performers whose act consisted of biting the heads off chickens and eating glass. Over time it came to be applied to anyone who got paid to do work considered odd or bizarre by mainstream society.

Where is Ozzy when you need him..ah shit that's a bat!

  • In reply to nicholsra:

and then you have the Nerd

A stereotypical label used to describe a person that is socially inadequate. A four letter word, but a six figure income.

Think Bill Gates, but typically on a smaller scale.

  • In reply to nicholsra:

Pisa was limited in practice yesterday and is questionable for Sunday. He has some lingering issues with his knee. Sounds like he could go, but this seems like a good week to rest it if need be. I bet you he sits this week and we get da Roach clip.

  • In reply to Crowned:

Pass the dutchie to the left-hand side

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dFtLONl4cNc

A dutchie is a dutch masters cigar cut open and rolled back up with marijuana

  • In reply to nicholsra:

    No tobacco for me, please.

  • In reply to Crowned:

I say they're resting him for Tom Terriffic.

  • In reply to nicholsra:

BTW..this scares me..Please Talking Heads don't give us any love...I likey the idea that we are the Dark Horse:

    Check #5 out

  • In reply to nicholsra:

And the answer to #4 is a resounding NO. Which works for me.

  • In reply to sjvl:

    sjvl...+1

  • In reply to nicholsra:

"The Bears have been playing championship football all season."

    Oh, really. Pat?
How many bear games have YOU watched, start to finish?

That statement displays the UTTER ignorance of national pundits who try to pretent that they know evey team INTIMATELY.

Is there anybody here who can say "The Bears have been playing championship football all season."???

They certainly did Sunday but it's been a process. Even the defense hasn't been "Championship" level all season.

Now this mope comes across like "Well, I knew it all along."

DJ: "Our next song dedication comes from Albert in Tucson to Pat Kirwan. Here are THE PLATTERS with , THE GREAT PRENTENDER...."

  • In reply to MikeBrownhadaPosse:

Webb will be a staple on our line for years to come IMO. He is always the biggest dude on the field, has great athletism and movement for his size and is slowly but surely getting better against speed rush guys. He's gone against guys like Cameron Wake as a rook. Shaffer looked awful to me when he was in. He might be the most impactful guy long-term we get from this years draft. (Prove me wrong Pringles) He had no penalties vs the Eagles. He's getting better every week.

  • In reply to MikeBrownhadaPosse:

    Freaking cheap shot Eagles.

    RIP, Ron Santo.

  • In reply to sjvl:

Ronnie deserved to be in the Hall before he passed.

  • In reply to Albertintucson:

    TRUE FACT

  • In reply to sjvl:

Lynn Swann was a fucking diva, but I think no wide receiver in the PFHOF will be a bigger douchebag than Randy Moss.

    http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2010/writers/dan_shaughnessy/11/29/randy.moss/

He wouldn't have lasted with the Bears, even if we skipped Curtis Penis and his orthodontic shit parade and taken Moss that year.

  • In reply to MikeBrownhadaPosse:

Kahlil Bell and Chester the molester had to be seperated at practice yesterday. Last time two bears rb's had to be seperated in practice....it was 2006 Benson and Jones, and we made the muthafuckin Super Bowl. Is this a sign?

  • In reply to MASOCHR:

Coach...from your post to the Football Gods!!!

  • In reply to MASOCHR:

Bell and Taylor were in Minny together too. The city, not the hooker.

Bell figured if he could Joe Frazier Chester Taylor, then he'd have his roster spot. I knew Lovie was taking no prisoners this year, but this has turned into the alternate Spock goatee dimension!

  • In reply to gpldan:

GP +1....that swagger and attitude ...I FU!@#$%$ING LOVE IT!!!

    BU..."I don't give a shit"....that's Bear Football and attitude....

GP..I think your avatar had that attitude...and that's why Chi-Town loves him to this day!

  • In reply to MASOCHR:

That article goes on to say that Chester has had multiple run-ins on every team he's been on. Altercations with offensive lineman, throwing chairs. I would have guessed the exact opposite about that dude. I love the fire though. Khalil probably wants the rock and Chester is feeling a little heat with his sub-par performance. Maybe this is the catalyst that gets our 2 headed RB Monstor going.

  • In reply to Crowned:

I liked the part where they said he had no fear of bigger teammates. Gotta love that.

  • In reply to Crowned:

Texans (or is it Texanns?) fucking suck.

28 fantasy for Vick. He was unstoppable again.

  • In reply to gpldan:

It's like when vomit squirrel runs onto the field during Elway's comeback against the Browns.

  • In reply to gpldan:

    "where'd that squirrel go?"

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iff8BcHgiW4

  • In reply to gpldan:

    Ok, that was truly repulsive.

Kind of reminded me of Favre.

  • In reply to gpldan:

Hot tub time machine is hilarious

  • In reply to gpldan:

WTF...checked NFL Network and no game. you motherf#$@#$@!$rs.

  • In reply to nicholsra:

Those boys occassionally play fast and loose with their program schedule, lobo.

  • In reply to Albertintucson:

To the point where I'm not sure I'd call it a schedule...more like a suggestion.

  • In reply to Church:

haiku to explain everyday occurrences? nice.

  • In reply to hollywood1:

    My thoughts exactly Johnny.

  • In reply to Bears85Sweetness23:

so tired, going to bed at 10pm, no strength to post anything except Stanton dies sunday...zzzzz.zzz.zzz

  • In reply to Bears85Sweetness23:

Sooooo, is Goodell going to fine Celek for trying to spear the Texans cornerback in the facemask?
That was a very, very cheap shot and I hope the league office reviews that play.

  • In reply to Bears85Sweetness23:

And Matt Schaub shows why he is Matt Schaub. Nice job, Brittle Boy.

  • In reply to TheFifth:

Rich kids, I don't know. I guess they have to prove themselves worthy because of the guilt of having rich parents and not having to work for a living. Like skiers and 'professional snow-boarders'. I'm just jealous.

It's the high diver dudes who jump off the cliffs in Acapulco that impress me. Now how the #@$% do you practice that? If you don't hit the water right it's just like landing on cement because of the surface tension.

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

The Jackass dudes reckon they're pretty rad - but you don't see them jumping off cliffs in Acapulco.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    That chick has man hands.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

The chickens look pretty crappy from what I have seen of this game. The Texans just need to step it up. Would love to see a home loss for the dirty birds.

  • In reply to nicholsra:

Hard to root for the others(can you guess who they are?)

Yeah let them beat the living sheite out of each other as long as it leaves a "W" for us
