  • First?

Got high hopes for our beloved this weekend

  • damn...If your not first then you last.....

  • Im not sure which should be more motivation for our boys to win Sunday, the fact that it would put us in first place in the Division or the fact that couple with the Lions destroying the Bills... the Lions are favored in a game, would put the queens back in a tie for last with the Lions and send them into a downward spiral.

  • In reply to dutsami:

How about all of the above!

  • Oh.. and I'll take the Pats over the OVERRATED Steelers; the Bucs over the Panthers; and the Texans over the Jags.

  • Bears
    Texans

  • In reply to Church:

    Titans

  • In reply to Church:

    Colts, Titans, Bears

  • In reply to Crowned:

crown, from last thread... are you an ambulance chaser, or in this case a sit-on mower chaser?

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Yea MB. But, I like to think that I help people that get injured who cannot help themselves. Spent the majority of the last two years working on a riding mower rollover case that left a 17 year old kid permanently brain damaged. It really is amazing how often these things roll (and injure/kill) people and how easy and cheap it is to prevent it.

  • In reply to Crowned:

Now that I read your message I realized how dick that message sounded Crown

  • In reply to MB30SD:

It's all good my man. I would rather help normal people than protect big companies. I was worried that the field would be filled with scum bags who don't genuinely care about their clients, but I've been proven wrong for the most part so far. The kid I helped will need 24 hour care for the rest of his life. I cannot tell you how gratifying it was to lock down a good chunk of change for that to happen.

I have been thinking about writing my Bar experience down in a Guide to type form for undisciplined or procrastinating students.

What does your bro do nowadays that he's not practicing?

  • In reply to Crowned:

    Good for you man.

He works with me in the software biz Crown.... calls himself a recovering attorney.

    Yeah, I

MB..Wow, everytime I read more of this clown I can't figure why he is still the coach for the Queens..Wilfucky is even a bigger dipshit than McFucksy...sounds like a "big o balls" to me

  • Wow, that's pretty cool. Maybe it's time to break out the #30 jersey again for this game?

  • Haha hilarious! Bears Titans Eagles. No idea what I'm doing when it comes to these picks so I'm just going with teams I like. The spread is supposed to make things 50/50 anyway, no?

Last time I bet on a football game, I was in Vegas, it was my birthday, October 16th, monday night, 2006, the night we beat the Cardinals and Denny Green went on the rant afterwards. Preceded by 2 fumbles returned for a TDs and a Hester TD return. I was so ecstatic with the W, I didn't care about covering.

  • In reply to Jokey:

Love that pic so much Jokey. I want to blow tat bad boy up anbd frame it for my place. Who is at the bottom of the hill, ya know? Mama's boy?

  • In reply to Crowned:

I got a Super Bowl painting hanging up in my living room with Da Coach's autograph. It's got Da Coach, Butthead, Singletary, Fridge, Van Horn, Hampton, Otis, Walter, Richard, Jimmy, Fencik, and I think Fuller. I also used to have a poster on my wall of the offensive line dressed as the Blues Brothers. Wish we had some guards like Bortz and Thayer.

  • In reply to Crowned:

You know, I find it kind of amazing that people still call elite a team that is on an 8-game road game losing streak, i.e. the Vikings. Still a ways from the record (24, which Detroit is in danger of breaking this week) but seriously this team gets way too much respect for its talent.

BTW, NFL Playbook gave some love to the play of Bears safeties this week, and also mentioned they have the fewest pass TDs allowed (I know Irish is proud of that). Of course in the same segment they also erroneously buy into the report Rice would play (which is false, as he wasn't activated off of the PUP today). Anyway if you want to see some film of Harris and Manning in action, here you go:

Last December, the Vikings had cruised to an 11-2 record. They traveled to Charlotte for a Sunday night game that widely was expected to result in another easy win.

  • In reply to Jokey:

Hey frozendouche, remember when the Bears beat the Pack? Thats right. I think your sisters calling you back to bed, or is it your mom? It is human and atleast part female, right? Hard to tell with the whiskers and broad shoulders. Good luck helping her out of bed for dinner since the hoyer lift is broken from her fat ass. Maybe you can just feed her some kraft mac and cheese in bed, you can add mayo to help it go down easier. Go back to your own forum with the rest of the fat little schlitz-swilling cheese lovers who all talk like their mouths are full of marbles. We'll see you in week 17, tool.

Sorry guys, had to get that out from the last thread, it had been building for awhile, can't wait for those packers to get a beat-down again.

    Browns, Chiefs, Bills

I thought our Left Tackle has been playing bad.. sheesh..someone look at MN oline. It's pretty darn bad.

Knowing our luck, they play like they are the best oline this Sunday.

BTW.. My calculus teacher is a Viking's fan and the whole class is failing, not just Artoo. SO, I have to retake it. Not getting Mr. I suck Farve's dick again.

    Browns
There is nothing to do in Minnesota and Wisconsin except sit in front of Meijer's stare at the parking lot, and occasionally ride the pony. (Note: Comma precedes the conjunction - Were you all taught that? - Who cares?)

  • In reply to kenbill:

I care Jack. What does Strunk say about the comma before the conjunction? I like the comma before the conjunction.

    Bucs -6.5
    Colts -7
    Chiefs -1

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

    Jack, see DBB rule #14:

We all lika to cumma before the infarction.

    Vaguely similar.

  • In reply to kenbill:

Rams +6: When did the 49ers demonstrate enough upside to warrant laying 6 points to anybody?

Chiefs -1: Peyton Hillis for Brady Quinn. How's THAT deal workin' out for ya, Josh McDaniels?

Vikings -1: Because it worked last week when I picked the Bills.

  • In reply to Albertintucson:

    You DaMan!

  • In reply to Albertintucson:

Yep, Brady Quinn was not worth a bag of expired potato chips...and yet Boy Genius shipped off 240 lbs of nasty for him.

Maybe Mickey D needs to stay away from the Notre Dame calendars next year.

  • In reply to Jokey:

Hey Jokey those picks are great. Your all good man.

  • Bears Titans Eagles

  • They terrify me - too many horror stories of farm equipment going wrong for me to take those things lightly.

  • Where the Trolls at?
I been quite lately, but Fuck it. Its time to let the Beast OUT! haha

I fuckin write shit hella long and then I press Post comment, and what happens? I get a stupid ass pop up message telling me I need to sign in and it deletes everything I wrote. That is out & out COWARDICE!

NO COWARDS ALLOWED(or ALOUD, for that matter)!

  • Makes me so hyped for this game, I can't believe it.

I hope that Mike goes and commits a personal foul, roughing the passer, on behalf of the fans. What's a simple assault charge between friends?

Frinch verse with nineteen lines in five tercets followed by a quatrain with the rhyme scheme (based on two rhymes)
aba aba aba aba aba abaa
The first line of the first tercet is repeated as the last line of the second and fourth tercets while the third line of the first tercet is repeated as the last line of the third and fifth tercets.
Finally, these two lines are repeated as a couplet in the last two lines of the quatrain.

story time: My grandparents: Grandfather from Wisconsin, and Grandmother from Chicago. Packer and Bear fan both get married and live on the wisconsin Illinois border. My grandma was a crazy german who hated wisconsin, and my grandfather was a hunter who hated anything chicago. Why they got married who knows. Their house was Bears and Packer. They always had to compete for who had more stuff. Best part of the house was the living room. My grandmas side of the living room was all Bears stuff(blankets,Clock, cups, etc.) and my grandpas side was all Packer shit(you know cheese and shit). They argued for 20 something years every year about the same ol shit, Packer vs Bears right. They get divorce on Valentines day last year, when asked what was the reason for divorce, My grandmother says "you try living with a cheesehead".

  • In reply to Grizzly559:

WAY too HIGHBROW for that "Hick from Missip"

How about something more apprpriate, like a LIMRICK:

There once was a lad named "Narcissus".
Whose ass received KISS after KISSES,
He was must have been drunk,
    Texting pictures of his "junk",

    Hahaha, bravo Al...

  • In reply to Albertintucson:

Yet another solid DBB Sat. Show. Love the Favre song- the " most of the time we'll beeee mediocreeee" song, the false confidence sponsorship, Abraham Lincoln's BLOG cabin and of course the Rev's rant. So true.

  • In reply to Albertintucson:

    Let the homer picks continue:

    Bears
    Bills
    Broncos

  • In reply to Albertintucson:

    Lions, Eagles, Vikings

Hope I'm way off on the last one, but I think they're bound to put up some points on us, and their D-line versus our O-line seems like a huge mismatch to me. Just hoping Farve [sic] throws a few TDs to Bears D-backs.

  • In reply to Albertintucson:

    like the limerick

  • In reply to MB30SD:

without writing LOL i just wanted to say that i haven't laughed that hard in about 2 weeks after reading that.

    Doc!
A truly amazing accomplishment. The "villanelle" is one of the most difficult of poetic forms. The Bears, the NFL, mathematics and poetry fills a C.V. of impressive content.
A tip of my cap to you sir.
    Thanks.-
p.s. Yours is significantly less depressing than Dylan Thomas's.
Certainly more entertaining than today's Wisconsin / Indiana football game. This Blog is unbelievable - who ever said that blogs were "content-mills".

    BEARS!
