  • That picture is bound to be the scariest thing any of us will see all day and all night!

  • Those photos are totally inappropriate! That is the kinda shit that gets you looked at funny in the locker room...What to do with myself today as I have no Bears game to watch...

  • i feel kind of smart when i showed love to Earl Bennett when we drafted him and last year and now everyone is starting to realize that this is the kind of guy that can play on a team for his whole career. He can be Bobby Ingram. He'll never be Brandon Marshall but all he does is run good routes, catch the ball and is a scrappy guy. I love Bennnett. He will turn out to be a great draft pick among a shitload of bad ones.

  • In reply to hollywood1:

I think Earl is probably our most natural WR, but what have you seen to think he is anything more than a 3 right now?

  • In reply to Shady:

He is definitely a 3 receiver but he is one hell of a 3 receiver. Now that position is locked up let's go find a 1 and keep developing our other three 2 receivers.

  • In reply to hollywood1:

A solid short and mid range pass catcher makes getting first down a bit easier. You don't need a 6'5 receiver to catch 7 passes a game for 65 yards. Bennett is that guy for us. He is one of the guys that can move the chains without making high risk passes that can result in INT's.

I'm no NFL Off Coordinator but i do know that when you have 2 extremely talented running backs that can catch passes off both traditional passing routes as well as running back type patterns then you have to exploit it.
When you have an agile and tall tight end that can run you have to exploit it.
When you have Knox and Hester you have to use those dink and dunk plays to keep the D honest and then you pull out a well timed reverse, deep ball, etc.
We have the tools to efficiently move the ball up and down the field. We just have to hope that some dude that makes a million a year as a coach can realize the same thing that i know, half drunk, wing sauce on my face, in my jammies laying in front of my huge flat screen as the Bears play.

  • In reply to hollywood1:

Good points johnny, but only half drunk? I'm sure you see the same shit fully drunk. You must be talking about the first half.

  • In reply to TheFifth:

that is true. i also remember when we had Brandon Lloyd and all he did was catch ridiculous passes, then we let him go since he was the most productive receiver we had that season, then he proceeds to fucking tear it up with the Broncos. Awesome.

  • In reply to TheFifth:

Can anyone tell me on the touchdown that Cutler made that our illustrious coach did not challange...that why everytime I look at the replay tapes I see a Referee standing at the sideline right on the goal line that why in the fuck HE didn't see it. And why it wasn't reviewed by the NFL refs during the break before Wash took over. Isn't that what the league pays for the is the video to check on a call that could go either way.I mean we have Lovie butI put the hanus on the Refs for not double checking that play just incase they might have called it wrong. And I think the refs should start getting fined if THEY screw up on a marginal call without checking! Maybe they'll get they're heads out of their asses too.

  • In reply to RogerMinton:

The booth onli iniates reviews with under 2 minutes in the half or game or in O.T.

It was up to our "Dead from the neck up" head coach or somebody on the staff in the booth to challenge that call.

  • In reply to RogerMinton:

Why didn't Cutler shout for the review, that's what I want to know. He was there. He was closer than anyone.

  • In reply to hollywood1:

Damn the Cowboys suck. The Jags are just rolling up on them.

  • In reply to hollywood1:

Looks like the Pack are going to be 5-3.The Jets wont score.

    OH NOOOZ

  • In reply to hollywood1:

    Cmon JETS! wtf man.

  • In reply to Grizzly559:

Unless Rodgers throws a pick 6 the Jets arent winning this one.

  • In reply to Grizzly559:

    Jets seriously? really? cant score?

  • In reply to Grizzly559:

I hope the Vikings win also just in case the Koolaid stops being poured into glasses and some reality check takes place.

  • In reply to johnkos:

Never go for the enemy. You sir should be lined up and shot for sayin that blasphemy. hahaha

  • In reply to Grizzly559:

If I should be shot then what should happen to Lovie and Angelo with all that bullshit theyve been piling up at interviews the past 3 years?

    ;-)

  • In reply to johnkos:

if i had a nuclear weapon, I would of shot it already. lol

  • In reply to Grizzly559:

Please God tell me you all saw Rex Grossman come in after Shanny BENCHED McNabb. One play, sack fumble returned by Suh for 6! It was one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen on a football field. Epic Facepalm.

  • In reply to MattySouthside:

    slap hands slap hands

  • In reply to Grizzly559:

Bad day in the NFL for "Wrecks" Ryan and "Wrecks" Grossman.

  • In reply to Albertintucson:

Anyone still want Buddy's idiot son for a head coach?

  • In reply to MattySouthside:

Anyone here that wanted to see the Packers win - is beneath contempt. Nice job by the Jet-skis. Idiots.

Percy Harvin left knee - adios - Oh, wait maybe he can turn the knee into a week long media extravaganza.

Brett Favre is a complete and total asshole.

  • In reply to kenbill:

he milks the Media for every second.

  • In reply to Grizzly559:

Why was he walking like a cripple when he scratched his chin ?

  • In reply to kenbill:

    Awww.

Narcissus just tossed ANOTHER interception that led directly to an opponent TD.

But DON"T WORRY, his starting streak is intact!

  • In reply to MattySouthside:

    TD Vikings

  • In reply to MattySouthside:

Certainly nice of the Jet's to lay down and let the Packers win. Suppose the Pat's will do the same for the Vikings. Well hopefully our offense has their heads pulled out of their ASSES when they return. Can only hope.

  • In reply to MattySouthside:

Fox just featured it on the halftime report.

  • In reply to johnkos:

For rooting A) for the Queens and there for B) For Narcissus, I am forced to refernce MONTY PYTHON AND THE HOLY GRAIL: "I fart in your general direction"

  • In reply to Albertintucson:

"You wiper of other people's bottoms." I just rented that again the other day. My wife had never seen that one or Life of Brian. Funny stuff.

  • In reply to CanadaBear:

1st peasant: "He must be a King".

2nd peasant: "'Ow do ya know"?

1st peasant: "He 'asn't got shit all over 'im".

  • In reply to johnkos:

Narcissus TATTOOED right on the jaw by the Pats.

    Hasta la Vista, baby!

  • In reply to hollywood1:

Tom Brady doesn't really have a Pee Wee Herman tattoo, does he? Photoshop or not, what the hell...

  • In reply to hollywood1:

Karma is a biyatch.Jeff I hope you did not jinx it today :-)

Look for the Packers and Vikings to win.

  • In reply to hollywood1:

Oh and by the way it wouldnt hurt if the Lions beat the Redskins for our wild card race

    woohoo

  • In reply to hollywood1:

are the fucking Jets trying to lose this game? holy shit.

  • In reply to Shady:

The top of the Da Bears blog looks like the inside of a 12 year old girl's locker. Bears fans are up in arms calling for more run plays. According to Vegas the Lions are favorites while the Pack & Viks are sizable dogs. The consensus is the Lions are the best bet. Not sure wtf to make of this world anymore.

  • Bullshit, bi-sexuality is an abomination. You need to examine your mind doc. You're teaching the "kids"?

  • In reply to ImissButkus:

Get your panties of of a bunch Trac, Doc was making a reference to Seinfeld.

  • In reply to ImissButkus:

People who think bisexuality is an abomination are the ones who need to be kept away from the kids.

  • In reply to ImissButkus:

    The Jets get SHUT OUT.

    By the PACKERS.

Coming of of their BYE week?

Way to use that off week to prepare, Rex, you foul-mouthed, fat, slob.

  • In reply to Albertintucson:

In their brand new, "Joisy", palace.

  • In reply to Albertintucson:

I think I hear Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson singing

MAMAS DON'T LET YOUR BABIES GROW UP TO BE COWBOYS...

  • In reply to Albertintucson:

Favre - "It's just a flesh wound!" --- Remember - I will start even if dismembered --- and Percy Harvin will be right there with me as well...

  • In reply to kenbill:

"Whssaya going to do "BlEED on me?"

  • In reply to Albertintucson:

Post-game Wade Phillips looks like he's fishing in the Gulf of Mexico already. See ya Wade.

  • In reply to kenbill:

THE GREEN MILE: "Dead man. Dead man walking".

  • In reply to Albertintucson:

Steelers win today, it'll be 2nd week in the row i get all three right

  • In reply to FQD1911:

You did tempt fate there FQ ...

  • and it begins...

  • Wow Doc, I think someone hit a nerve. Not that I disagree with you. I've worked with lots of gay people in the casino biz and have a few gay friends. Why anyone cares who a person is sleeping with is beyond me. If it's a close relative or friend and the other person is an asshole, I get that. Otherwise, live and let live.

  • Ah, Suicidal, that brings me back. 'Institutionalised' - got to go download me some Suicidal.

We got to bi-sexuality on the blog, wow. Okay. The ancient Greeks only had sex with women to make babies apparently, young boys provided the 'fun'. And so it goes ...

  • That WAS a funny episode.

  • We dedicate another song to those never say bi, er, die, Dallas Cowboys. here's Will Nelson with "Turn out the lights, the party's over.."

  • Bou, Blogfather, I don't know what exterminator you used but, the troll cleanup was marvelous. Haven't seen or smelled a Viking
    Troll in weeks.

  • Jets get shut out, at home, off a bye week, by the walking wounded know as Green Bay.

Steelers lose to th struggling-to-the-point-that-have-1-cornerback left-on-the-roster, New Orleans Saints and couldn't make a TD from 1st and inches,

Couldn't make a TD from first and INCES?!

I thought the Bears were BYE this week?

No less than hey deserved after being awarded that ball late last week against Miami.

NFL Parity (Parody?) is in its full flower!
