Two in a row!!! Take that, bloggers!!
A flag was tossed at the Blogfather for putting that self-absorbed mug on a thread, as this referee merely glanced at the photo in a rush to post first, AGAIN (ha ha ha!!!).
Upon further review, there is no foul on the play!
It doesn't count if you rush to be first and you neglect to make a meaningful comment of somethingness Dave. I believe during game time that would be called a "false start".
+1 Trac, but in this instance Dave posted twice before anyone else (me), and his second post was meaningful... so basically he jumped offsides and then got back before the snap of the ball.
Like I said, nice move trigger.
Nice explanation MB,lol.
Who dat?
Who dat?
Who dat soap opera drama queen vag QB that's gonna get his ankle straight toe off tonight?
We're rooting for you AB, the Izzy/Anderson combo just aint the same.
I found out why the Brett girl came out of retirement again. Mr. T came to see him.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NySN_plfiNI
trac...did he say "grab some nuts or get some nuts"?
He better not grab mine lobo.
Funny that there are "rules" for what counts as 1st.
Matt, you must not be an allspice man.

Hahaha, apparently not my friend, apparently not.
trac...WTF is Lewis riding on the add to the left..hhhhhaaaahhhhhaaaaa!
It looks like a sick bird lobo. I checked out that commercial and all I can say is, I hope they paid Ray Ray a lot of money to do it cause it was really really stupid.
reminds me of Jerry McGuire..when Cuba Gooding did and ad for water-beds with a camel..LOL!
How the rest of the NFL fans fell about "Brett Girl" Hide N Seek
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=baLEYZl_R54&feature=channel
There are only two ways the 5-star douche leaves the game. Permanent injury or no team will sign him. I'm to the point where I don't care which one, I just want to never have to see or hear about him again. Of course, once he is no longer playing you know he'll either be in the booth (doubtful due to too much preparation) or on the Sunday panel in the studio. I just threw up a little.
The sad part is. He will NEVER leave. You know that shit-dick will become an "anal-ist" for the four letter word or some other network. We will never be done with him.
Agree. Although if he's on the 4-letter network I would almost never see him. That' a big plus for living in Canada. We get 2 Canadian sports stations (TSN and Sportsnet). I see very few ESPN shows. I do get the NFL games (and pre-game) but that's about all.
That's a pretty selfish view of things Canada. Yeah, sure... never mind that we'll all be force-fed that douchbag all season long for the rest of eternity down here in the lower 48.
There's no "i" in Team Canada.
My bad. Didn't mean to rub it in. I'll be a little more "new age" with my comments from now on. Well, maybe not!
Here's a Bart Farv commentary about his relationship with Chili and some sports reporters, and how much he loves it.

Ah, Bobby Bouch'e. My 2nd favorite linebacker of all time.
I certainly would like to see him out as well, but ya gotta hand it to him...he ain't stupid...,he manage to milk the Viqueens out of a bunch more money and kiss his ass as well. So say what what want!
they're unspoken rules Matty. We kind of make them up as we go... feel free to join in.

Lobo, you game? I say go for it man.
Maybe we can get this chick to take over for D.Manning: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T9r2gKV_v30
Boom! Nice hit.
Vikings defense looks suspect. But shit Drew Brees has a cannon for an arm.
Gotta do Caliendo as Madden:
Uh..ga...what we have her you see, uhh well as great as Brett Farve is, its clear..uh ga, you gotta still score the points to get on the board.
Damn!!
I live on the WI / MN border. Last year was watching the NFC championship game at a blues bar. Right after the game, the kick ass band started out with The Saints come marching in (from NO and Houston). More than a few Vikings fans gave up their $12 cover and walked out. Boo hoo.
Thats what I call singing the Blues Monster Man.
Viking's ain't looking too shabby.
I got Farve as my Fantasy QB so hopefully he does good..
You should played your scrub this week. Saints are going to keep his numbers somewhat mediocre.
3 points so far between your QB and Kicker and it's almost halftime Fresno. You're gonna have to do better than that son.
Farve is definetly favoring the ankle.
Scratch that, Peterson ain't looking to shappy.
so check this: Warren Sapp made a bet with me about the Bears-Lions game. here's proof:
Me: rofl @QBKILLA said that the Lions would DESTROY the #Bears. if the CBA wasn't affecting his pension plan, would tempt him w/ a bet
Him: @FQD1911 small 1. Is cool I think. Lunch or Dinner? Drinks included?
Me: @QBKILLA sounds good Mr. Sapp. whenever i cash in on this bet, the steak will taste extra great (hell may even buy 1 of your jerseys)
Me: @QBKILLA so do we have a bet? i say Chicago beats Detroit (Detroit's secondary is GOD-awful)
Him: @FQD1911 yep!
look who's smiling? :-)
Better start saving your money just in case FQ. Warren Sapp can put away some food now. And the way he asked if drinks were included would me if I were you.
And the way he asked if drinks were included would have me worried if I were you.
Especially when Stafford and Johnson rip the shit out of our secondary, Mr. Best clocks a hundred and Mr. Suh tears Cutler a new a-hole ....
whats that on twitter?
Wow - If as just alleged on the broadcast, the Saints were trying to injure Favre during the Championship game, the Queens should try to take out Brees tonight.
SWEET!
+1. To each his own, but, my opinion of posting "First" hovers down around the level of my opinion of Narcissus. And it's something HE would probably insist on doing, as well.
Technically Albert, he didn't actually use the word "First".
I'll still flag him for a "celebration penalty."
Firstness rules. Planting the flag on all that virgin snow ... it rocks. We should always be thankful for small mercies ...
... like the Vikings losing !
YAYYYYYYYYYYYYY !!!!! WOOOOOHOOOOOOOO!
2 Observations from lasts nights game. #1 We should be able to run the ball against the Queens. #2 The Queens passing game looked average at best.
trac....but,but,but... I thought "Brett Girl" was the great Savior? well ViQueens, looks like you run for the SB is getting rough.....AP fumble..... 40 yr old wheels collapse... hahahahaha!
That entire first half it was hard to run on the Vikings and the only way the Saints did it was on pump fakes, draws, or reverses, if we do those sure, but a lot of times Thomas had to fight for yards.
B85S23...simple words.."They did it" and have a W Viqueens have a L...that's all that counts.
Even in a lose they give the benefit of a doubt to "Brett Girl" wow. I am sure Brett and Childy are calling "The Commish" to make a new rule "The Brett Rule" he can't be touched and any receiver he is eyeballing can't be touch not even looked at. Hey "Childy" you've been in the league long enough..welcome to the NFL you munch-kin.
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/09/10/childress-vilma-was-mauling-shiancoe-on-interception/
Hey boys and Girls..Interesting what a loss can do to your physique:
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/09/10/adrian-peterson-says-feed-me/
they have a couple of articles that make it sound like the ViQeens are having a hard time being the great NFC Saviors them and the boys I love to watch IMPLODE!!!! hhhhhhheeeeeeehhhhhhhheeeeeee
I heard the announcers mention that Peyton's game plan was to go with a heavy pass, minimal run scheme before the game 85. The Saint's weren't trying to run the ball.
I hope his and Cutler's numbers are transposed from last years. Nothing would be finer than to see the old "old" Brett girl show up. 3 or 4 Picks combined with 1 or 2 A.P. fumbles would definitely make me feel better about my Bears, no matter how they play against Deetwoit this Sunday.
Nice MS Paint skills Jeff. Drawing in a straight line with your mouse is always harder than you think.
Dave, well done trigger (finger).
Man I hate that dude... as a football player... I'm sure he's as fun to drink beer with as GDubaya (for you Trac).
I obviously want the saints to kick the shit out of the queens tonight, but more so I want Farve to leave the game, no not tonight
I'd love to see the Saints pick up right where they left off.
END HIM.
I hope the Saint's slap that BI@!$#CHES smile right off his face tonight.
It's gonna be strange watching Alex Brown play in a different uni other than the Bears. I hope he makes us proud and gets his Bear paws on the Silver Fox and breaks his clavicle in 3 parts.
+ Infinity and beyond.
Well, gotta get the Websters out again! Vascill..what! Hehe
Thank You, in the context he used it I figured it meant something along the lines of "hesitated" or something like that. I only graduated form high school back in the "stone age" as my daughter so kindly puts it>
I think Narcicissus is worried.
He's already making excuses about not being able to match last season and I think he's realizing he waited too long to have surgery on that ankle. Also,I believe he just whined that all the hulabaloo about his lastest retirement/comeback/holding-up-the-Queens-or-more-cash-ploy was blown out of purportion by the media.
It is to laugh!
Yo, Narcissus! Let me know when you find a way to blame somebody ELSE for those last 2, gawd-awful, killer, infamous, post-season INTs you tossed.
Run it up, Saints! And I do mean RUN.
I want/need some fantasy points out of Pierre Thomas and, the now infamous, "LOWSman Trophy Winner, Reggie Bush.
Or was that the LIEsman Trophy.
No matter. He's one of MY boys now!
Very insightful post Al, and I couldn't agree more about the running game tonight. While Im hoping AP goes off tonight as a DaBearsBlog fantasy league owner, I love what Chicago native Pierre Thomas brings to the table as well...not to mention I drafted him in another league I'm running.
I agree. Who else but that douchebag has his bruises from a game photographed and given to the media? You know the refs are under orders to throw flags on NO if they so much as breathe on him. Really hoping Alex has a big game and flattens him. It would be the 1st time I would actually enjoy seeing the Gator Chomp.
See my post above to canada SD, just when I was getting to like you. Selfish bastard.
Was watching the same looping ESPN pre-game bullshit mentioned above on my lunch hr today. Couple thoughts from the title game highlights (well, they were low lights foe the queens) last year:
* Pierre Thomas is a stud (Pierre????)
* Guess who was in on 3 HUGE plays for the saints last year.... yep... D.Sharper. They might miss him a bit tonight
* Farve got CRUSHED numerous times, it was fucking awesome!
* I'm really hoping for a repeat of the last bullet point tonight
It's not you SD... it actually has to do with the fact that you have 3 or more links in your post (most likely). It's not Jeff, it's an automatic Chi Niw thing.
Just watched Carl Nicks, the left Tackle of the Saints, absolutely pancake the fuck out of dudes on 5 straight plays resulting in a TD drive. It was arousing.
I'll be aroused when I see that out of some guy in navy and orange...
who gots facebook? add me "MARCOS JAIME" Fresno, Ca
Saint's DB's are good.
damn....Brett Favre looks like Jay Cutler last year. Could Cutler be like Favre last year?
and Chilly just made a Lovie Smith challenge. ROFL!!!!
I know Nicole, he needs to check out Tebow's facebook page. Ask MB.
if the Vikings win this game i am going to pour sugar in the gas tank of the Saints shitty field goal kicker.
ladies & gentleman:
2010 Minnesota Vikings = 2009 Chicago Bears
FQ..from your lips to the Football Gods ear.
Where oh where is "Big Paycheck" Berrian? I think somebody should put out an APB, cause we have a missing person.
You took the words right out of my mouth, GP. Bernard "Buryhim" stepped up SOOO mightily to fill the gap left by Sydney Rice that MinnieHaha instead wound up going to Greg Camarillo, who has been a Viking for for what, almost 2 weeks?
Did you notice the Saints put a corner (Harper) on Shiancoe in the 2nd half? OUTSTANDING mid-game adjustment. Yo, Lovie. Pay attention here! See it! Learn it! Do it!
And Harper is GOOOOD Al. Been watching him a bit. Guy is SOLID. Almost forgot what that looks like... damn it.
Missing person?
C'mon now, GP, be fair.
He DID have that THREE YARD reception.
Oh, and a muffed punt return, let's not forget that.
I don't even think that adds up to 1 pt. in FF.
Awww, and no "calf-ropin'" for Trailer-Trash Allen. Tsk, tsk, tsk.
On another positive note, the PeckerHeads and Eagles match up could put us in 1st place all alone in the North as long as we take care of business against Detwoit.
Go birds.
Hard to believe that Shiancote outscored Marcus Colston, but there you have it.
Why didn't they give the rock to Petersen more in the second half? Vikings D looked good, but their offense sucked. Hope to see more of the same with their passing game.
Perhaps because they fear if they give the ball to AP too often and the pigskin's gonna come loose?
Pierre Thomas, my Hero!
BTW, in case you haven't heard...
The "Chris Chandler of Offensive Linemen", former Bears' first round pick and Dallas' suspected, er, EXPECTED starting right tackle, Marc Columbo (ANOTHER feather in Jerry Angelo's draft cap), is injured AGAIN and will likely miss Sunday's game at Washington. I understand the Cowpokes ain't too solid at LEFT tackle, either.
Can't help fearing that Chris Williams is "The Black Marc Columbo".
Black Columbo. Wouldn't that be Shaft?
Thats a little harsh Albert. The guy started 48 in a row and played really good. He has 57 games played in the last four years. I'd trade 4 Omiyales for 1 Columbo, injuries and all.
here, here Murph.
Another possibility is that it is a loooong season, and AP did get a fair number of carries in the first half. He finished with 19 carries for 87 yards - while not a giant workload, not exactly slacking either.
I am liking stealing Chester from the Queens more all the time.
Without Taylor to spell him, AP is in trouble.
That back that the Jets let go on this last episode of Hard Knocks, that guy was a bruiser and awesome on special teams. The Jets tried to hide him on the practice squad. The Vikes would love that guy.
Today's mine and my wife's 17th anniversary. We've had our ups and downs but we're still standing and it's been worth every moment of it. At times being married can be like playing the game football. No matter how bad things look sometimes, if you refuse to give up, then you never will and if you make a commitment to being a better husband and father, you will get better at being one. God Bless you gents and I hope each and every one of you success in your marriages.
Congrats Trac. I like your sentiments but if you married the wrong person it doesn't make any difference how hard you try.
It does to the person trying Canada. Sometimes that's all you can do.
watching three letter network and Warren Sapp said because "the ViQueens have not been together much..of course "Brett Girl" is so special because he did not practice and PS much.... timing is off. He expressed that they will be hurting for a while...shit I hoping for the whole FU@!%$#!@%$NG season!
Nicole - i guess the one saving grace of dating a tramp is that you don't really have to waste any energy?
Such a gentleman Waffle Boy.
Brett Girl looks like he's going to cry...hhhhhhhhhhheeeeeeeehhhhhhheeeeeeee!
what did the four letter network say how great the d is for the queen douche's ? yeah looks like they are going down by one!! FU Queens!
just turned the last five minutes of the game to see Brett Girl cry! how did AB(ex-Bear) look?
I never saw him do anything. I actually may have saw him once, I think?
Brett was really crying?
Clarification please. Didn't/won't be seeing the game. Favre cried?
B85S23 & Irish..figure of speech brothers...he just looked disgusted and was amazed that his team didn't win. my goodness how could the great "Brett Girl" lose! hahaha
One down 2 to go. Queens in last place, booya.
trac..who-ha!
Johnny...where the hell are one of your squirrels? I need on of those shots to celebrate the Queens in last place!! hhhhheeeeehhhhheeee!
BAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAhahahaha!
good find SD. personally... meh. Sounds... artificial.
I thought the Vikings looked decent.
Ohh new stat for everyone, if you lose your first game, you have a 24 percent chance of making the playoffs. According to Steve Marrchui.
Now, I know everyone is going to say what about so an so, I don't care but it is a nice percentage, either way we need win.
So as of now, if your still following me, the Vikings have a 24 percent chance of getting into the playoffs, thus, we need green bay to lose Sunday then we will have the division wrapped up after week one.
I like your math there. After week one call it a wrap!
73.6% of all statistics are made up on the spot Artoo ...
Just some hope Irish, just some hope.
I believe it's 74.32134% Irish.
Or Big Seventy Pi plus one as we like to say in the hood. The geek hood.
Saints are going to be tough again, that damn line is sick, especially on the inside. Everyone saying the Vikings D did a great job but I don't really see it that way, the Vikings didn't make that guy drop that pass in the end zone or make that kicker miss a the 45 yard FG, those Saints players screwed up or it would have been 24-9 and the Saints were easily driving for first down when they took their knees to end it... they could have easily put up another 3 at that point if they would have needed too and 27 was their season average last year; so everything is relative. I thought the Vikings D lokked average, okay on some drives then they'd give up a 1st on 3rd and 15 or let them run up the gut on the "Williams Wall" for 8 yards on 1st down. Really lacked consistency, ala Bears D the last 3 years. And Childress is a douche for not running the ball more on their last two drives; especially without your starting LT and having to put a road-grader over there. If I had AP on my team and that line, he is getting 23-26 carries a game period.
No surprises there. "Chilly" is dislike by Viking fans almost as much as Lovie is by Bear fans.
Wishful thinking Albert.
No, it's a fact, Trac. They hate Childress up there.
Mr. Noodle.
http://muppet.wikia.com/wiki/Mr._Noodle
Eerily similar GP. ha ha ha
Just clicked 29 years in March, Trac!
So you definitely know what I'm talking about Albert. That's awesome, I love to hear that.
NO only had 3 running plays in the 1st half. Gotta love the way Payton calls games. Why beat your head against a brick wall? They used some misdirection at times and their left side of the OL pushed Fat Pat out of the way numerous times. Good Stuff! I only saw parts of the game and most of it was without sound but NO looked good.
Speaking of Berrian, when he was back on punts if anyone was within 15 yds of him it was a fair catch. Nothing like throwing caution to the wind. I'm glad the Queens gave him $7 mil for 6 years.
The Vikes got ripped on Berrian. I bet he's injured before the year is out, so he can blame his suckage on something. That's how he was here.
Friendly reminder to all Fantasy league members. Don't for get to check your rosters by Sunday morning before the early games start.
"There are lies, DAMN lies and statistics."
- Mark Twain.
One of my favorite authors Al (following the equator was one of my favorite books)... behind Papa.
If I may, let's hope we're hearing this from Farve after this year... "The rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated"
That's what happens to those guys, several times each season.
