DaBearsBlog Saturday Show Premiere!

The sound ain't great but this is our first effort, kids, and it's completely homemade. Hopefully by mid-season this will be a feature you're each looking forward to each week. Give a listen to know what combination of picks are off-limits. (And I will add that I think my brothers did a tremendous job and as we get more professional about the process, the show will be dynamite.)

AND DON'T FORGET! [THE NEW T-SHIRTS ARE AVAILABLE HERE](http://www.chicagonow.com/blogs/da-bears-blog/da-bears-blog-t-shirts.html).

Who will join **Albert in Tuscon**, **JMCyclone** and **soupbowlorbust** on the road to the postseason? MAKE YOUR PICKS BELOW.

  • First!

Use these spreads and these only.

  • In reply to JeffHughes:

    Denver +7
    St.Louis +3
    Philly +14

  • In reply to JeffHughes:

blogfather not fair to be first man, haha so we do gotta use spreads?

  • In reply to JeffHughes:

Hey Jeff, the problem with that page is that they update it continuously.

If you want to make sure everyone uses the exact same spreads, you should include a snapshot of the lines when you made your picks. Already the spreads have changed for 6 of your 9 picks, and they'll probably change again before everyone submits their picks...

  • In reply to 750mL:

I've got a better idee Jeff. Why don't you and your brothers just make up the spreads yourselves?

  • In reply to JeffHughes:

    Chicago +7.5 over Dallas
    Kansas City +2.5 over Cleveland
    Oakland -3.5 over St. Louis

    btw kudos for cursing lmao

    Miami + 5 1/2
    Detroit + 6 1/2
    Seattle + 3

  • In reply to JeffHughes:

My upset special of the Week is Miami over the Queens. Not just because I hate the Vikings but because Miami is gonna bring it and the Brett girl still doesn't have anyone to throw the rock to.

  • In reply to ImissButkus:

They almost lost to the Bill's. If that is the case the upset of the year needs to be Bills vs Packers

  • In reply to Bears85Sweetness23:

Yeah I know 85. Wasn't there another team that almost lost to the Lions. Hmmm, can't seem to remember who played those pesky Lions.

  • In reply to ImissButkus:

    Nope. No clue.

    NE -3
    IND -5

  • In reply to JeffHughes:

Jeff, I thought you were using Friday's lines. That link will always take you to the current days lines only. After Sheridan posts his Saturday lines on Saturday morning there is no way to see Friday's lines anymore. Same thing on Sundays. If you click that link at 10am tomorrow, many of the lines will be changed. This is going to cost someone an undefeated week soon and that will suck.

  • In reply to mikemuadib:

Alright, starting next Saturday, I will post the lines above.

  • In reply to JeffHughes:

    Wise you are, blogfather.

  • In reply to mikemuadib:

be advised, I am trying CURSE Dallas, although as usual, pessimisim is HIGH, expectations are LOW.

Here are My " Even a blind squirrel finds an occassional acorn." picks for week 2 from Sheridan's 12:23AM lines:

Dallas -7 (Feel free to knock me out of the box this week, Bears)

Atlanta -6.5 vs. Arizona (I think the Rams were the ONLY team in the league the Cards could have defeated last week.)

New England -3 at NY Jets (Like your Dad, Rex, you are/were an outstanding D-Coordinator BUT, as a head coach, your mouth is writing checks your team can't cover).

  • In reply to mikemuadib:

Dorelle "I may hold out again in 2 years" Revis was limited in practice this week with cranky hammy.

    LOL.

  • In reply to mikemuadib:

Oh, I have DIAL-UP at home so trying to listen to the Blog Show is a lost cause.

If I've duplicated anybody's picks, mea culpa and too bad for me.

  • In reply to Grizzly559:

  • In reply to JeffHughes:

Thanks, ender. Next week's will be interesting with Brad Biggs coming on board. Working on a player too and trying to get interviews with people around the organization we don't normally hear from.

  • In reply to JeffHughes:

Sweet! Anyone specific? I'd love to hear an interview with Garza or Kreutz..

  • In reply to Church:

I'd love Garza as well. I'm going to start making calls Monday.

  • In reply to JeffHughes:

    DEZ please!!!!

  • In reply to MB30SD:

I know this is weird, but how about someone like Matthew Stafford, Ryan Grant, or Syd Rice? Injured opponents... hehe

  • In reply to Church:

Very entertaining Jeffrey. Jon sounds like quite the character and I enjoyed it. Thank for not making me have to listen to the entire Hester interview again. I get mad every time I think about him walking away from his gig.

  • In reply to Church:
