  • Narcissus has no shame.
Neither do his legion of sycophants at the 4-letter network.

  • If this were Oz, surely SOMEBODY would have dropped a house on him by now.

  • Let's see how long it takes them to pick this story up. They didn't hesitate with Tiger.

  • The media DOES like to "eat it's young", no?

  • First, ESPN will have to figure a way to claim credit for it and not reference DEADSPIN.

  • Not surprising. Although, the initial text message story seemed a little strange anyways. Who fucking knows.

Even if he does come back, it can't be a good sign that his ankle is this fucked. Unless this is just all an excuse to miss camp again or even to play after the season has gotten underway.

And there I go, doing exactly what he wants...talking about Brett.

  • In reply to BearDown1982:

Isn't he past needing an excuse to miss camp? Hasn't Coach Chilly basically said "Show up whenever you want, Brett!" ?

  • In reply to Albertintucson:

You have to wonder.. Did Brett do it or did MN do it?

  • In reply to Albertintucson:

    He didn't retire

  • In reply to Albertintucson:

What's really important is that he's out there having fun...with his pee-pee.

  • In reply to BearDown1982:

    lmao. where's Mad Max at?

  • In reply to FQD1911:

On a drank binge with Johny Jolly.

  • In reply to BearDown1982:

Does it really matter if he sleeps with someone else or send stuff to other girls? When the media blew up Tiger.. I could have cared less. So what if they have sex all the time with other people who cares lol

  • In reply to BearDown1982:

    Other news..this is from yahoo.

ormer New York Giants wide receiver Plaxico Burress(notes) is going to be released early from prison in about two or three weeks due to his good behavior, a source that's visited him told the New York Post. And the paper reports that the Giants are interested in re-signing the man who took a gun into a Manhattan nightclub and accidentally shot himself in the leg late in 2008.

Burress is still likely to get a suspension from the league and be released into work-release that will preclude him from rejoining his former team right away.

When he finally becomes available, though, Giants general manager Jerry Reese told the Post, "We'll definitely investigate it."

  • In reply to Bears85Sweetness23:

very very good for Plax. the NFL should say fuck that suspension shit; dude has paid enough.

  • In reply to FQD1911:

Have to agree. Don't the 16 games he missed while in the slam count for anything?

  • In reply to FQD1911:

Fav Rah sending pictures of his ding dong to some slut in her 20's is a big deal 85. And it's fucking hilarious. Funniest part is the broad does look a little bit like favres wife. Scratch that, the funniest part is that he sent pictures of himself whacking it. haha.

  • In reply to MASOCHR:

He missed his intended receiver. POW! ZING!

  • In reply to gpldan:

I just don't see the big deal. Nice one GP

  • In reply to gpldan:

Exactly - those were intended for Peter King.

    1. Further support for my earlier protestations that NFL QBs should not get married before the age of 60. Women can medically produce babies in an unmarried state.

    2. Old ? OLD ? Bitch. And yes honey, that IS how you roll. You've been 'rolling' any which you could to get what you want since you were twelve.

    3. How does stuff like this get printed without ANY evidence. Isn't that libelous ?

    4. Oh look, it's deadspin.com, not the New York Times ....

    5. If it's true, then Favre is the dumbest QB since Dan Marino, and that's saying something. 16, Danny boy. Six-teen.

    6. If I was a cracker with an ugly wife I would definitely be wearing that like a horse's nosebag.

    7. Has the season started yet ?

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

Four days, Irish...four long, sad, boring days.

  • In reply to MikeBrownhadaPosse:

And that still ain't the season ....

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

DEADSPIN basically DARES you to sue them.

Sean Salisbury did and they took great pleasure in publishing every threat he or his attorneys sent them.

    The suit was recently withdrawn.

ESPN ROUTINE gets material from there without sourcing them.

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

Not unexpected, I guess, but NOT comforting news...

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

    "Elvis has left the building!"

And another star player goes down in camp as
Broncos' star pass-rusher, Elvis Dumervil, tears a pectoral muscle.
Preliminary exam ruling him out 'til DECEMBER.
Denver seeking a second opeinion (or a doctor who looks like Jesus).

  • In reply to gpldan:

The Internet really does mean the death of journalism. Checking your sources, checking your story and documenting your evidence. All gone.

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

Modern media corporations destroyed journalism. The internet is just pissing on the grave.

  • In reply to MikeBrownhadaPosse:

Yep, that's a big shout-out to fellow cock-jugglers Ted Turner and Rupert Murdoch. You both suck on Satan's Pez dispenser and will forever burn in the lake of eternal fire. A pox on your progeny henceforth.

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

It's probably not fair to curse their ancestors, but just in case they were c%$#s as well ... a plethora of lethal and undetectable viruses on them too.

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

Ouch....gotta look some those words up....easy Irish.

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

What Ever! Old Brett Favre, saying he is hanging it up, only to return after training camp is over with, whats new? The Bears will end up battling the Pack for the division title anyways!

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

I really believe that Brett Favre will have a target on his back this year!! That may or may not decide in Favres retirement decision this year. Favre is probably looking at the 20 year mark, as far as playing and building up his stats!! The question is whether Ego or Sense will Prevail!! We Shall See~~~

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

Irish, you got a way with words!

  • I won't get all preachy about it, but damn, the "throwing the phone across the room" is kind of funny.

  • I'd be willing to wager 100% of all humans have something in the closet.
