Sharper Has Knee Surgery
Making Sense of the Running Back Position
With the
Bears releasing Kevin Jones, they now have five viable options at the tailback position heading into the 2010 season. Matt Forte and Chester Taylor will split a great deal of the carries and become the primary receiving options on third down. This leaves two roster spots to be fought for by Adrian Peterson, Kahlil Bell and Garrett Wolfe. Bell showed more than enough in 2009 to earn a spot on the roster, meaning the Bears will be forced to release either AP2 or Hungry Like the Wolfe. If I'm making the decision, it is coming down to whomever is the better contributor on special teams and that could mean bad news for Wolfe.
Dear Milton Bradley...
I am from New Jersey. I am not black. I say these two things so that's it clear I have no stake in your claims that Chicago is a racist city that somehow kept you prisoner in your home. Chicago is my adopted city, my adopted home. In my many trips there, most spent around fans of the respective sports teams, I have never felt hostility towards myself or anyone around me. I have never seen a racial incident at Wrigley or Soldier Field (I have seen them at Yankee Stadium, Shea, Giants Stadium, the Garden...etc.) Playing the race card to excuse your underperformance and shit attitude is the lowest thing any minority can do in a country that still struggles with immense racial tension. What you've done is despicable. It's pathetic. In other words, it's par for the course.
1st?
Bye-bye 'lil guy. Bring Back Mike Brown (sort of kidding) Garrett Wolfe gets the axe. Milton is a sack of shit. mmmbearsss
Any shot at Atogwe?
Milton Bradley was, is, and, apparently, seems committed to always being a complete doofus.
Milton Bradley is one angry dude. I feel sorry for him because he obviously has been "told" what racism is and has no clue. Its baseball anyway so who care's.
Its a shame we never really got to see what KJ could do in our backfield, we will never know. I'm ready for the draft already, bring it on. I think we should use our first pick on a QB because if something happens to Cutty we are in deep doodoo. Maybe bring on the dude from Clevelend, Derek Anderson.
+1
With you trac, I mentioned this a few strings ago with the whole McNabb thing. I'd rather have bulger, or even Del-Homie instead of Anderson. Did you see that guys last few games before Mangina put in Notre Dame. Sheesh, I could have done a better fucking job.
MB..I wondered when the Rams dropped him if Martz was getting a little woody..He knows the system and could maybe give some insight to JC..Just saying... Shaun Hill would also be a good fit but I still think Hanie can show us something.
Cleveland was a pretty rough gig. Mangina would have put in Testeverde if he was on the roster. Don't know if Anderson was given the proper guidance? The Browns did go 10-6 the year before Cronnell was fired. Just a thought. Del-Homie would be a decent backup I think. Bulger probably will stay with the Rams don't you think?
Milton Bradley said he didnt play well because of racism. Meanwhile:

Great post.
DMB...You hit than one "OUT OF THE PARK"!
Very punny lobo, Albert would be proud.
Nice Dmb.
My favorite Safety in this years draft. Unfortunately he'll be the 2nd or 3rd Safety off the board.
He is a great open field tackler, excellent speed, and takes some of the best angles on the ball I've seen.
Someway somehow we must grab this guy! He is a Bob Sanders with twice the speed and cover skills.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WK_tq6nqCPU
+1 He looks delicate though ...
Awesome, he'll be hurt all the time. Every year. Bob Sanders is Mike Brown, except he comes in late using his head as a weapon. Punk bitch.
Illegal procedure, Shady. SORRY was a PARKER BROTHERS product.
Appropriate titles, lobo, BUT... are they all MILTON BRADLEY products?
Remember their slogan? "The key to fun and learning".
BTW, all the ones I listed are IN MY POSESSION, thanks to ebay!
And so is SORRY, Shady. That is the only one of those games still in print.
LOVE those old board games although I have to admit, a game like RISK is much better suited to the computer.
Good call Al.
Mike Mayock has too be my favorite analyst on t.v. Plus I think he could rip out your trachea with his bare hands, the guy has a kung-fu grip.
Al. yes..all MB products had to wiki them though...and I do remeber that slogan..Dang I think that shows my age! lol
and kudos on the ownership of those games..NICE!!! any in mint condition?
+1 (swap Kitna for Delhomo)
Milton Bradley is just another angry black guy who think the world is after him cause he is black. I hate how many play the race card when ultimately it is them who are the ignorant delusional dumbass.
agreed.
Jeff is quite a bold dude.
And, I don't say shit like this too often to brotherhood, but dude... you're on Jeff's Bozac a little hard man.
Take a couple steps back from the Dilz man.
Jeez, what did I do to deserve that? I had to google that shit just to see what it meant. Is it because i think he is bold? I've been reading this blog everyday for a few seasons and to me it is quite obvious that Jeff is a bold dude. So? Or maybe it is because I agreed a few threads ago that Greg Olsen may be a key to this O? Big deal! None of us will know for a few months. I still believe though, that Martz Offense will look nothing like his old ones.
Hahahahaha... sory End, it was mostly meant to poke fun a bit. I wasn't trying to be harsh, and didn
johnny: "hey bro, totally tubular shades man."
jerry: "get off my dilznick."
Fucking hilarious
Its cool MB, I'm all better now.
Good. Glad to hear. I was feeling like a dick (see how I did that?).
I had to unplug and mothball my PS3 FT, it's an Nmad Dog affliction. That thing is like Smack (not that I actually know). Look up and realize it's 3AM... the next damn day. Not healthy.
lobo, that would be a lot funnier if it weren't so close to the truth!
LOL, MD. I played RYGAR 'til I was bleary-eyed because there was no SAVE on it!
BTW, I also play with trains. I am forever 12 years old.
That's a good thing in my mind Al. Although I'm sure the wives feel very differently.
http://www.chicagobears.com/news/NewsStory.asp?story_id=6615
Damn, bullocks looks like he was actually decent with the Saints. Dude better fucking step up next year since he's the first FA we've damn well signed. Yes, they signed him before Jamar...
Jerry, I want to show you something... it's my shocked face: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HqVBKO_QM3o
MB...damn It!!! you have me hooked on that kid and I am LOL!! it's scary because I am trying to curb the profanity in the house (wife) and so I am using FRANK! as my change up..but now my seven year old is going around the house say FRANK!!! everytime and laugh and the wife gives me that look..you married boys know what I mean!!! LOL!!
Hahahaha. Nice.
Ok, last post.
Amazing, wish we could get him: http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/living/2010/03/10/ac.a.scholars.comeback.cnn?hpt=C2
MB...hey if we can't get onr Rolle sure would be nice to get the other..but I agree with doc..ain't going to happen..nice dream though.
Go Bears. We alwys look at the lower level guys that make an impact. I can really see Olsen being traded for a 2nd rd pick, although the possibility has been kept quiet. I still think it will happen. We could use the pick to acquire a dependable Safety or O-Lineman in the up coming draft. Martz seems to be acquiring the blocking men he needs. I think Jason McKie is history(I hope so). He is so Worthless.
Just Say NO to Jason McKie!!! He has got to go!! He has been Worthless to us!
We should be Campaigning for Sharp or Atogwe at Free Safety!! These guys really make an impact at the position, which is a position we Need to address. GO BEARS!!.
No to Sharper at 34 just off knee surgery .... we have no ,money left to pay fro Atogwe - Angelo has put all his eggs in the Peppers basket ....
the hell you mean "run out of money?" you know it's an uncapped year right? and the McCaskey family is one of the richest owners in the NFL right? lol....no money...
As in ... here's $130 Million for the off-season Jerry, don't spend it all in one shop. Budgets, y'know ? Rich people do have them, that's how they get rich ...
And if money's no object why haven't we thrown a few quid at T.O. or Sharper or anybody else looking for cash ? We wouldn't be a better offense with T.O. ? We have one receiver who can attempt to catch a high ball ...
Please Bears fill the hole at F-Safety!! You know who is out there. You have gone this far, dont stop now!! Finish!!!
I was after him because for $10 mill a year he still can't manage to count to three.
Dear Mr. Bradley,
Fans didn't dislike you because of your race but because of your personal hygiene.
You came to the Cubs and STUNK OUT LOUD.
You stunk so bad people thought the Union Stock Yards had reopened.
If you had put the kind of effort into your game as you have put into your litany of tirades and temper tantrums you'd be headed for the hall of fame.
Instead, you just go out and stink up every ballyard you play in with your "it's all about me" attitude and lackidasical "effort" and the take offense when people have the temerity to take you to task for it.
You know, this IS a race issue.
The race between whether your behavior first gets you killed or imprisoned.
What do you mean about "another black guy"? That sounds a bit Racist there, just sayin.
he said another angry black guy, that is how misquoting can lead to misinterpretation. Doing what you did to Freson, you just said "mean black Racist"
Well..Well..Well.. and new post YEE HAW!!
I have been watching from the side lines and I have to tell you it goes round and round especially when the troll who I will not name has nothing better to do except sit on another teams blog.... Wow... GET A LIFE PLEASE!!!!
O.K. right into it..Jeff.. Sharper's surgery concerns me too. Was it known that it was going to be done? or was it something after he looked at FA and the doctors started to probe? Did the Bears know? and they were waiting to going after Sharper and then this came up? I think there is more behind the scenes that is being lead on.
Running Back--I guess was bye..bye when CT came on board..sad though we really never go a real good look at KJ..I wish him well..I wonder if we could of packaged him him a couple others for trade. just wondering..as for Wolfe and Peterson I say gone for both but understand that Peterson adds to ST.
As for Bradley...could really care less...I gage a soul be the size of his heart and strength of his spirit. END.
I AM GOING TO KEEP SCREAMING THIS UNTIL BECASUE.. I CAN'T GET NO SATISFACTION..
I really wanted Stepehn Neal BAD!!! I wish we could of worked a trade with the Patriots with a TE "The one I donot name" because I don't want anybody's undies to get in a bundle!!! I know we are going after the Draft for O-Line but I wanted experience and not the BAD Experience we have for our Guards!!!! I know some say the shuffle at the end of the year worked.. I donot.
I AM GOING TO BE A SCREAMING BITCH UNTIL WE GET GUARDS!!!!!
Jeff, that post was pretty bold. Its gonna ugly before the days out.
Maybe CT will pay AP for the #. Don't think Wolfe will get the nod over AP. Could be both of them are gone but I doubt it.
We have a black president. I would say that's proof that racial tension is quite low, making playing the race card an even dumber idea.
Anyway... Jeff, you're from New Jersey? What?
Half black, half white.
for the purposes of discrimination he's black. a racist is not going to go to the ballot box, then think to himself "well, he iiiiissssss half white" then vote for him.
agreed
actually I have always thought that is the very meaning of racist, logically he is just as much caucasian as african american, so he could just as easily be correctly referred to as a white guy as a black guy.
Wow. Nicely done FTW.
O.K. I think I'm playing catch up but is it possible JA can send some love for this?

Sharper isn't feeling the love from the Saints
Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on March 10, 2010 3:40 PM ET
Darren Sharper wants to return to the Saints; he's just not feeling the love yet.
"If the love was right, that would have been taken care of. The love would have been reciprocated," said Sharper to Mike Triplette of the New Orleans Times-Picayune.
Sharper plans to make some free agent visits in a week or two, when his surgically repaired knee has healed. He speculated that he might be a good fit with the Jets.
"The New York teams, there's something about the big lights and the big city that fits me, and I know I would fit there," Sharper said.
The 34-year-old wants a pay hike from his $1.7 million contract. But the Saints are wisely unwilling to break the bank for an older player, just like they were with Scott Fujita.
Sharper says he plans to play for a few more years and uses Rod Woodson as an example of someone that played outstanding well into his mid-thirties.
tell that to our friends in mississippi
That's my thing with it - this guy is not black. He's mixed race.
Yeah..That's right just like that DAMN Screaming "Clown Car" LOL!!!
Actually Obama had a white momma and a black papa so technically he's a Zebra.
Z, I didn't see your comment I promise. Great minds think alike.
If Zebra means selling your country out at an even faster rate to the Federal Reserve ... then yes, he is. I know there's some football on here somewhere ...
I'd say the Banks/MIC thought the people were fritzing with the Bush fool being in 'power', and so like my man KRS One says .. ."Black America was on the point of revolt ... and then they put up a black face on the president ... and then black America does this ...." and KRS sits back down with his arms folded. Obama is the first President to be 100% backed by Wall Street. Has he carried out one of his campaign promises yet ?
The world has gone mad Irish. I'll leave it at that.
I saw you posted that the other day, not sure if that was a mistake or not. It's funny because I was thinking the same thing myself. "What are AP and CT going to do about their shared jersey #29? I mean, AP has been a solid vet for years - but probably won't see much action... And CT is getting paid like a starter..." My guess is AP is gone as well, leaving 29 to CT.
Our AP is a UFA.
so is tinoisamoa
I heard earlier this offseason Tino is coming back.
I read that somewhere too but I don't remember seeing anything about a deal specifically.
Shady..Maybe AP can have 291/2 or maybe 29A
Nobody's really talked about our backup QB position. Orton was an excellent backup to Grossman and so was Griese. I don't have a high confidence level with Hanie(Maybe I'm wrong) so who are we going to bring in as a solid backup. Does anyone think Derek Anderson would be able to do the Job? I think we're all forgetting how important this position is. God forbid, but if Cutty gets hurt we're in trouble.
I spent all last summer discussing the backup QB. I've read rumors that Shaun Hill may get cut in San Fran since they signed Carr. If that happens, based on his familiarity with Martz, the move makes a lotta sense.
Do you think Anderson could make a decent backup in Martz's system?
The way everyone here was on Cutler's jock last season at this time just because he went to one pro-bowl why wouldn't you sign Anderson, he has been to a pro-bowl so he must be awesome.
Derek Anderson blows and the pro-bowl is waaaay overrated. I mean, even JohnnyKnox made it last year. That's right...I didn't space out his name...because that's how I pronounce it...Like Jeff Joniak... "Johnnnyknox! Touchdown! Touchdown Bears!"
Bears.
RT @NFLTweetz: Bryant gets four years, $28 million from Bengals
so they said no to T.O; i wonder who will pick him up. and yes to Derek Anderson as a back-up....he's a more than capable QB (and could be used as trade bait maybe)
It does make sense and you could be right. I think the Bears will explore it if Hill gets released. I think they would probably release Basanez again to make room for him. I dont know if it is a good move or not. But it is obvious that Martz likes him. I am more concerned with the F-Safety position and the O-Line to be honest with you..
See note above in response to your first post trac
See my note on your note MB. I do remember you talking about McNabb but we never really got into a discussion concerning realistic prospects for a back up. I think its odd that we signed CT as backup/compliment and a very important position(Backup QB)hasn't been addressed yet. Maybe they are taking the same approach with Basanez that they did with Orton when he was the backup?
I just think JA is a complete fucking idiot to be honest trac. I think he wanted to save his job and make a big splash, "Hey, it saved my job for another year last time!"
You know I've been a broken record about the loss of FA focus on what we really needed to pick up this offseason. I kinda get CT, but the malamalamalama thing confuses me. Whatever, I've come to terms with it, and just hope that no matter how successful we are next year (and I think we can win 9) that JA and LS get canned and we get a real management team on board. The stuff they do much of the time defies reason and logic, and some of it is just ridiculous.
Manu make perfect sense. Jeff already explained it about as much as you can.
Also, I dont think CT was brought here to be a back up. I think he is going to start.
Please explain the difference between Manu and Kellen Davis? I think we should have used that money for a legit safety. It doesn't matter if Forte or Chester starts. They will get around the same number of carries and plays unless one gets injured. Think of what should have been when we had the TJ-Benson tandem.
Are you serious? We have 5 fucking TEs dude, FIVE.
...and how many FSs? How many good, proven pass blocking, run blocking guards?
Correct zero, and zero. How that makes any sense to anyone I honestly don't get.
Why is enough, never enough?
Top Tier Caliber QB, got him.
Stud DE, got him.
1st rate backup/complimentary RB, got him.
Beast of a tight end, got him.
New FB, got him.
Come on guys, we do have to use some of the guys we already have on the roster. I'm not saying we couldn't or shouldn't still make some moves but I'm damn glad what we have to work with already. I'm actually kinda excited to see how the rest of our squad performs with the new talent on the team. I also think our offense is going to really excel next year. Going out and signing the best free agent at every position kinda takes the fun out of it all. Jacksonville went out and signed 7(SEVEN) top tier free agents a couple of years ago and they stunk it up. Actually cost them the next 2 years(3 in total). Unless a great need falls into our laps I say bring on the draft and lets play ball.
Trac, problem is we have no true FS who is startable on the roster. We played the game of finding out Manning sucked after 10 games Bullocks sucked after 4 so we started Steltz the last 2 games there. They even moved Afalava and Payne over at times to see if anyone we have at safety would fit there. We have come out of the 2009 season with the knowledge that noone currently rostered is a viable starter at FS. And we have done nothing to address the lack of a starting FS all the while we have signed a backup RB, added a a 4th and a 5th TE to the roster, and actually addressed one need with Peppers.
The answer is obvious. The Defensive line. Anybody can get open when the quarterback has 10 seconds to throw the ball. I think Lovie knows it was the line primarily that caused our problems. Everything snowballed from there. Don't get my wrong, we have to play better at those positions but I think Peppers will make our secondary much, much better. My biggest concern is that we spend so much time chasing our tail that we do more harm than good. Lets also not forget that Cutler threw way too many interceptions which causes huge problems for the D all by itself. Have faith Bears fans, next years time will be a Superbowl contender. There is no doubt in my mind.
Trac.. GOT YOU!!! "Lets also not forget that Cutler threw way too many interceptions which causes huge problems for the D all by itself."
#1 HAS NO LINE !!!GET ME TWO GUARDS!
#2 HAS NO LINE! running for his life!
#3 HAS NO LINE!timing off..throwing on back foot.
#4 HAS NO LINE!! bootlegs seemed to work why? NO LINE!
#5 HAS NO LINE! hand of to Double Duece negative yardage?? hhhmmmm.
Shall I go on!! I CAN RANT ALL DAY LONG!!! lol
*next years team
http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2010/writers/jeff_pearlman/03/12/willie.gault/index.html?eref=sihp
Found our new # 1 Receiver
Do it.
If Chelios can do it so can Speedy Willie. His Super Bowl shuffle will set you free. I would cut Rashied to make room for him.
If Willy Gault were a sexual act he's be a 4 hour erection.
Da Coach..I think at that time "Call A doctor" or call me GIGANTOR!!!!lol
As for Willie..BRING IT ON!!! We would one up Narcissis and I would love that ! lol
I've been waiting 25 years for another SB Trac, and I'll be waiting another while looking at this team. Small receivers, no #1 guy. Not enough talent on the OL & no depth. Little talent and no depth in the secondary. No proven quality backup at QB or MLB. We need a miracle on the O-line if the offense is going to get adequate run and pass blocking. Both Peppers and Harris have to show up at the same time next year.
Welcome to todays NFL. Look at our team that went to the SB a couple of years ago. What did we have then that we don't have now? Grossman!!!!!!!!!! Blaaaaahaaaaaaaaaa
People are forgetting that Cutty makes up for a young/weak O-line. Last year Cutty didn't spend a whole lotta time on his back. Martz will have the opposing D's wore out by the middle of the second quarter.
That is awesome. Bring Willie back, I'm in.
Coach, it's called Priaprism (I looked it up): http://medical-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/Priaprism.
One word,
I happen to think we will be in good shape by the time reg season starts. Do we have room for improvement? Of course. If we can fix the offense and actually cause the opposing defenses to wear down then not only will their offenses be playing catchup, our Secondary will rock.
Come in to my parlor said the spider to the fly(Secondary with a good pass rush)
With you Trac... but we don't have a good secondary, and a rush can't make one. It can certainly help them get better, but we're not even decent, we're literally missing a guy back there.
How do you know? Our pass rush was almost non existent last year.
Jeff, about modernizing our blog site. I've seen some blog sites where we can actually give a thumbs up or down to rate each others comments. Kinda cool. I know, change is hard.
MB..thanks for the love for dos guards!!!
Of course Lobo. I've been there from the begining. Dos guards and dos FSs.
Pro Football Talk
Loomis will show Sharper "love," not money
Posted by Mike Florio on March 12, 2010 3:40 PM ET
In a Friday press conference with the media, Saints G.M. Mickey Loomis addressed a variety of matters relating to the Super Bowl XLIV champions.
But his best stuff came in connection with still-unsigned safety Darren Sharper.
Sharper, who joined the team as a free agent in 2009, has said recently that the Saints have yet to show him "love" in contract talks.
Said Loomis, via Mike Triplett of the New Orleans Times-Picayune: "Listen, I've got all the love in the world for Darren Sharper. I just don't have all the money in the world for Darren Sharper."
Annnnnnnd boom roasted.
Sharper currently is recovering from knee surgery, which has derailed his free-agency tour. We were told last week that Sharper underwent the arthroscopic procedure before attempting to find a new team due to concerns that he would not have been able to pass a physical.
JA.......SWOOP IN AND GET IT DONE!!!!
I know some are questioning the knee..I understand but this was about cleanning up.... rather than major constuction...His experience brings our younglings up a notch!!! 1yr maybe 2yr contract thats it..Let him finish in NAVY BLUE & BURNT ORANGE!!
Man, the NFL sure as hell is a bidniz. What the fuck have you done for me lately... oh, never mind the 9 (NINE!!) INTs with almost 400 return yards, 92 (NINETY TWO) tackles, a half sack, all mixed into a heaping load of team leadership just a few short months ago to cap their first ever SB season. Today? Well today D Sharper, you're an old man and a huge risk for us to spend money on, just a short month later.
Fuck me. Downright ruthless man... just ruthless. Gotta be tough for the players, at least in the business world I expect an attitude like that.
MB..It isn't personal it's just good business..COLD!
I would loved to have the guy and maybe if we meet the aint's sharper would pick off breez a couple of 3 or 4..lol!! that would be nice!
Looks like AP will be gone soon, they gave CT his #: http://www.chicagobears.com/news/NewsStory.asp?story_id=6617
as it was once said "Whoop there it is"!!!
This has truly been a great offseason,so far, but I dont think they are done Yet. I believe they will sign a Safety like Sharper or Otogwe. Although I think that the Bears are targeting Sharper. He had two visits scheduled in free agency. I bet one of them was with the Bears!! He would fit in well with our defense and he is familiar with it & knows the division well. I think the Bears are holding out for him!! We should here more in the next few weeks. I think Sharper would be great on a two year deal. He could help the young guys and also shine at free safety with the addition of Peppers on the D-Line. Opportunities for interceptions, should be plentiful, lol.
BF,
I've posted this before, but Sharper has played in the very restrictive tampa 2 D (our tampa 2) before (with the vikes maybe?) and wasn't nearly the impact player he was in GW's dynamic, flexible Saints scheme that let him rove around and make plays 'on his own'. He had 1 INT that year, but of course that could have been for a number of reasons.
While I love sharper and would be more than happy to have him fill our empty FS spot, it sounds like he might not nearly be the impact he was last year in our loverly D scheme. Just more info.
I move to ban lol on this site

Sorry Coach, does the initials L.O.L ruffle your feathers? Wow, just say so and I can refrain from using those initials for you, gheez. You know I dont like alot of what I read on here, but I dont go out of my way to call out a fellow Bear fan, that is just Wrong!! There are some serious Egos on here, give me a break. Some of you only converse with certain posters and ignore everyone else?? It doesnt bother me because I am fine with who I am. I surely dont need to impress and fit into some group,LOL!! But one thing we have in common, is we are all Bear Fans!!!! BEAR DOWN! GO BEARS!!
The more posts of mine you read the more you'll realize that nothing i say is serious. Don't take anything i post personally.
fag
For all of us True Bear fans here, I would think we all want to Win.. Lets see how it all plays out after free agency & the draft!! I think we are all in for some surprises yet, in free agency and the draft. The Bears Will sign a F-Safety yet in free agency. I think either Otogwe or Sharper will be at F-Safety for the Bears this year. That could be Huge for the Bears! GO BEARS!!
You are the #16th BearsFan
Thanks Coach. And you Little Man are a Clown!! LOL!! Some of you Clowns just look to start Shit with people! So Immature, it just shows your age. If you dont like the Knowledge & experience I bring than just ignore it. I dont care. I am not here to kiss ass & make buddie buddie like you all I just like talking Bears, as I have been a die hard fan for 46 years, long before many of you were born. It seems like wherever you post anymore there are these idiots that feel the need to take out their insecurities on others who post, it is quite immature.

We should take up a collection to purchase Greg Olsen a bowflex.

And I keep reading more and more that Tori Holt is more a matter of when than if he will be on Da Team. I would rather have two FS's and two OG's than a WR but I'll take Holt for dirt cheap. If he can't play, maybe he can coach the young WR's. Having another person that is familiar with a complicated system when we seem to have some easily confused young guys on our team can't be a bad thing IMO.
People are so damned sensitive on here sometimes. What are we a fucking sewing circle?
Sincerely, an unintelligent, best bears fan ever, LOL, LOL, LOL, Go Bears!! Bear The Fuck Down!! Way Down!!
hee hee
Hey, We're just like any other "family" (and we are a family cause we all love Da Bears) and we may fight and call each other names and disagree, but don't nobody...NOBODY come on here and and come after one of us or say anything about the Bears without knowing your shit or we'll be all over them like flys in shit, just like a family!! Beside's most of the crap that you guy's fling is frickin hilairous, and keeps this old geezer entertained. Thank's to all of you!

In the words of Sean Combs, "Its all about the Benjamins"
These guys get paid boatloads of money....dont feel too bad!
Yeah, I know Dm. I've been on the other side of the argument as well.
I just think a guy like Sharper deserves more than that.
Who is our 2010 nickel back? I think vasher or dj moore. It wouldn't surprise me to see both of them hungry next year. I know moore didn't do shit last year but it wouldn''t surprise me to see him grab that nickel spot. Nasty nate knows this he's on Lovies shit list and he doesn't strike me as a guy to go out without a fight.

Anyway, I think AP's time is over here. Just too many injuries and penalties last year, and although Wolfe had a horrific spleen injury (and we don't know how he's been recovering) he was performing like a monster on special teams... Then Tim Shaw showed up... Personally, I wouldn't mind the Bears cutting them both in order to free up a roster spot to keep Greg Olsen. But anyway...
Great piece on Uncle Milty Bradley there too, Jefe. I like. Muy bueno.
Tim Shaw on specials was one of the only bright spots for me last year Shady. I read somewhere the Bears could use him at LB too this year. They would be crazy to cut him. It's a toss up between AP and Wolfe for me which should be decided during camp. I'll give the slight edge to AP because he's been one of my favorites for a while and a solid well-rounded player. Wolfe does not have the requisite NFL shiftiness and speed to be an RB and his small size makes him too prone to injury.
Wolfe is a better special teamer than AP. Wolfe does a great job on the wing, he was always the first to get a shot at the opposing punt returner. He's much much much faster than AP.
I agree and that is why A.P will be the odd man out at R.B. Martz probably wants to see what he can do with Wolfe in the last year of his contract, last Chance for Wolfe. I sure dont have much faith. But I did like what I saw from Kahlil Bell last year and I want to see more of him.
I was born and raise the first 19 years of my life in Chicago. You can't label any city a "racist" city, but there is without a doubt extremely racist NEIGHBORHOODS in Chicago. This cannot sanely be denied.
Now, some of these neighborhoods may have changed over the years, but to act like one can experience overt racism in Chicago (or any other city in the north *ahem* Boston *ahem*) is laughable.
I"m not saying Bradley's telling the truth, but to dismiss him out of hand is silly.
Whats with everyone's Khalil Bell erection? The guy had 1 good run last year and he was caught from behind by a linebacker (aka another angry black guy).
The question is who ap vs the wolf. I say the wolf, he's younger.
Side Note, Kevin Jones is a messy qweef.
Coach.....when you say messy qweef... I need more info I know what a qweef is but why would he be messy..would that be just a qweef:

or might it be this for you Coach?

I'd rather have the Rams FS than Sharper. Wolfe will get the nod over AP (younger, faster, better at ST's). I've always liked AP but in the immortal words of Harry Caray, "He's a little short of stuff." Which leads me to Milty. Total tool that played like shit and blamed everyone but himself. When your teammates are all happy you're gone, you really have a shitty personality. However, I used to go to Wrigley all the time in the 70's and early 80's. We'd always sit in the bleachers and get tanked. Trust me on this one, there were/(are?) a ton of bigots in the bleachers. I'd hear racial BS almost every time I was there. It was always a bunch of drunken morons but that's no excuse. Stupid is as stupid does.
I'll get off my soapbox now.
Go Bears!
Every society exhibits racism. I live in a country where most everybody is black - but they even look down on their own depending on the degree of blackness. In a country where it's in the thirties every single day ! We were afraid of other tribes for hundreds of thousands of years (unless you're a Jehovah's witness - in which case, apologies) to when we lived in trees - it's a natural self-protection mechanism and is deeply ingrained into your psyche and DNA. Switching it off takes a lot of learning and practice. Now I KNOW there's football in here somewhere ....
Irish, I am totally confused now. Where the hell do you live man? I was under the impression, that Ireland was populated by mostly.... the Irish? Have things changed since my last visit?
Nah, I live in Thailand man. Moved away from Ireland like 5+ years ago. You can see the sun here ...
Nice. Never been, but have heard and seen good things. Just make sure you give the requisite 'check' before you take any little Thai 'girl' home Irish... would hate to hear about that one the day after.
I believe you are referring to the adams apple test MB. Just watch out for the MSNBC Hanson dude.
Jeff-
THANK YOU so much for your words on Milton Bradley. I frequent Wrigley field and US Cellular many times throughout the course of a baseball season and I have never heard anyone utter a racial slur. Im not saying this happens, but my assumption is if any fans heard this in the surrouding area, that person would be promptly punched in the mouth.
Since MB decided to be a huge douche, I have found myself constantly defending the fact that Chicago is no more racist than other metropolitan areas....Im glad you, as a resident out of towner, also feel that was unfair for Bradley to paint us with that brush..
Lobo... what in thee fuck was that!?!?!
That was actually more disturbing than the shit trac used to parade out under the guise of a
Now, now MB. Don't go telling on me. lol. Thanks for the warning, I will be sure not watch.
Trac, you own the prize for the scariest shit ever found on YouTube.
MB..sorry...had not posted for sometime and just lost some judgement....lol
Lobo, I have no idea how you find those things man... not sure I want to know.
Am I lost? Did anyone see this coming?

Eddie Williams
Kentucky..sorry brother should of looked further up...damn
A Queef with shot legs.
Bell got taken out on the angle. He hits the hole hard, and has some speed. He's a better choice than AP any day.
I like Bell's potential as well, he impressed me with the little time he got to play. I think he averaged like almost 5+ yds per carry. I like him as our 3rd back behind Forte & Taylor. Maybe sprinkle some Garrett Wolfe in there as well. A.P is History, which is fine by me. We have had enough mediocre R.B's around here. I would still rather see us focus on signing a Free Safety though!! I feel that Sharper is still an option for us at F-Safety..
Just as a fan, I liked what I saw from Bell last year. Don't have any stats just an opinion and I felt the same way gp. I was pleasantly surprised to see him perform well.
Well I did predict the Bears would sign Peppers & Chester Taylor in free agency which they did(thank god), but Manimal as I call him was a surprise though at T.E. I also believe the Bears will sign Sharper at F-Safety. I also believe that Greg Olsen Will get traded for a 2nd rd pick. I am like any other fan I guess, I see things changing for the better. Mckie will get released as well. I Think the Bears will target youth at F-Safety and O-Line in the draft. But they will continue to use free agency to fill the larger holes we have now..
#1BF...I still wonder about the info on the surgery.. I want Sharper just like I believe we had with MB(miss his leadership)..he would give the younglings some experience in a good way!
High on this post I mentioned "The One I do not name (TE)" would be a great trade to The Patriots for Stephen Neal(G)the one I donot name would be a good fit for the O at New England..JA get it done!! and as for you know who... a 5th round is BS!!!
As far as the Patriots are concerned. We sure could use one of those 2nd rd draft picks this year, and I am sure the Pats could use Olsen, A Match I could see happening!!
Who is Milton Bradley?? LOL. I think this is a situation we should definitely move on in!! Bradley would love to carry over his shame, but we just need to ignore it as fans!!! Lets just block him out from our collective, baseball minds..
Who is Milton Bradley?!?
Who ISN'T Milton Bradley?!?
:o)
Here are some MILTON BRADLEY games that were CLASSICS:
DOGFIGHT. BATTLE CRY. HIT THE BEACH. BROADSIDE. SKIRMISH.
You KNEW I meant the good old game company and not the ballplayer, right?
Ahhhhhhh ha ha haaaaaaaaa. Sorry!
Gp..just like the idea that the opponent's D" is going to have to figure out a difference in style's, speed, and hitting power between more than one back!
Forte
Taylor
Bell
I resemble that remark, lobo.
I bow to your wisdon oohh master.lol
Al.... I thought he reminded me more of these game:
Bermuda Triangle
Conspiracy
Don't Spill the Beans
13 Dead End Drive
and last but not least by opening his mouth
Downfall
that should read: "Im not saying this DOESNT happen".
to clarify:
This line "since MB decided to be a huge douche"..thats Milton Bradley...NOT THE blogs very own MB!!!!!
Sorry for the confusion....
Thanks DM, I got that.
For a split second I thought, "Wow, I thought I told Enderwiggin to get off Jeff's bozac, not DMB."
Thanks for the shout-out though.
Eddie Williams. A new fullback? Thank god.
http://www.footballnewsnow.com/2010/bears-sign-ex-redskins-fb-eddie-williams/
2009 7th round pick, broke his leg last Nov, and had season ending surgery
in 4 years at Idaho he caught 100 passes for 1200 yards and 11 touchdowns.
Eddie Williams practically NEVER rushed in college
http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/player/profile?playerId=170149
so he seems almost like a pass-catching tight end who (I hope) can block.
Ho-Ly-Sheite muslim! Another fucking TE... in fullback's clothing no less. Jebus Christo and se burro oques! What in thee fuck is going on down there?!?!
We might as well just sign fucking Tebow, he's the TE to top all TEs.
If Tebow was there in the third round and it's our pick ... he has his head screwed on, he had a crazy three cone drill time - we could find things for him to do ...
He also bombed the wonderlick - got a 22 I think, which has nothing at all to do with whether he's a good football player, but it does tell me he's a fucking meathead. The dude from Harvard (Fitzpatrick maybe?) got a 49 (out of 50). Vince Young got a 6 (SIX!!!) the first time he took it.
Marino was a dummy too ...
All playable, lobo, but nothing anywhere close to mint.
Haven't played musch since the daughter grew up. Taught her DOGFIGHT, SKIRMISH and HIT THE BEACH.
I also was a big AVALON HILL player onbce upon a time.
LOL, JB, I hear you regarding face-to-face RISK, and we didn't even have to be drunk to precipitate a stupid argument!
*Now* you're finally getting me to show my age. Although it came out a couple decades after I played my first AH game, I was going to mention "Naval War" in JB's Risk thread, but it fits as well here.
As I recall AH themselves labelled it a "beer & pretzels" game. It was a blast although not in anyway characteristic of the classic AH wargame.
Panzer Blitz
Third Reich
ASL
Colditz! Never had enough rope ....
AND I still have my 1965 NFL HALL OF FAME edition of Foto-Electric Football.
Al..Now I am truly Jealous.....1965 NFL HOF.. VERY NICE!
Wait, I can't believe I wrote that. Nah, we need a guard right there ...
I think A.P has been diminishing as of late. He tries hard but is not effective anymore. You cant get too comfortable with players as they come & go these days.
Bye,Bye Jason McKie,LOL. Talk about a waste of a roster spot, McKie is it!! He would be better off following his buddy Ron Turner, LOL!!
Only caught from behind because Devin Hester took the play off - in fairness to Mr. Bell.
+1 on Wolfe - he's always in the tv shot when the return man makes his first move - it's always in response to where Wolfe is. And when Wolfe gets his man he brings him down - he may be small but doesnt' tackle small.
No Way to Derek Anderson, I have seen enough of him. When the Browns are cutting him, that says something, lol. I have liked what I have seen from Hanie. Just because he is not a household name doesnt mean he cant help us. He has a good arm strength is mobile as well and is very accurate, plus he has been here a few years now. I am interested in seeing Hanie this pre season, just my thoughts. Jeff, Sharper just had Arthroscopic surgery on his knee, to clean it up. This is a simple procedure and he will be just fine, it effected him last year, so he should be better for it. I think the Bears are targeting Sharper as well. Adrian Peterson is history and is not expected to be re-signed. Garrett Wolfe may get 1 more chance as his contract expires after this season. Maybe Martz can do something with him? I do like Kahlil Bell and think they should keep him in the mix. Shaun hill could be a possibility at the expense of Basanez. He knows Martz's system and Martz seems to like him, this could happen if Hill gets released as expected. This is just my opinion but Cutler is a Tough Son Of A Bitch!! He has not had injury issues, and I dont see him having them now. He is like Favre these guys always play and survive on the field. I was impressed with how Cutler gets right up after getting drilled. Blood coming out of his mouth from biting his tongue, he just kept going. Milton Bradley is a Piece of Shiht, thats all there is to it, what a Frickin Coward!! Poor Baby, everyone is against him,so sad. He has the same problems everywhere he goes, it is not just in Chicago, lol.
Trac, if Derek Anderson becomes quarterback of the Chicago Bears, I'm flying out for tryouts with MB. It's got to be worth a shot.
Only as a backup Irish. The guy has an arm, he was used and abused in Cleveland.
Ah, but when Cutler goes down the backup has to be our franchise QB. Anderson is a joke. I'd take John Kitna as a backup from the current crop.
Many times Character issues are confused with racism. I doubt that most people use the dictionaries definition when discussing this topic. It is my belief that most people discuss issues of race from an emotional viewpoint.
Here's a Websters Definition:
The belief that race accounts for differences in human character or ability and that a particular race is superior to others.
Ignorance is no excuse but unfortunately it is the reason the race card is played more often than not.
so it is racist that I think whatever the hell race Jessica Alba is just plain makes hotter chicks?
I believe that's called 'preference' or 'taste' FT.
Aha ...like Hitler's preference was for a Jew-free world ?
I hope it's Abortion tomorrow ....
Wow, easy there Irish. I'd hardly liken FTW's attraction to half puertorican girls to Hitler and his absurd sickness.
Really? 'Splain please.
For what it's worth the whole racist card can and does get pulled for the most ridiculous things e.g. I like Thai chicks over white chicks. Does that make me racist against white chicks ? What if I'm white myself ? Can't I prefer chocolate to Vanilla ?
Well, Hitler, in that sense, had a 'preference' for a world without Jews, for example. Does that mean he wasn't a racist ? No. I don't like Webster's dictionary and the way it redefines words though.
From the OED :
Racism is the belief that race is a primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race.[1] Or, on the opposite side, racism can be described as the belief that a certain race or races portray undesirable characteristics. In the case of institutional racism, certain racial groups may be denied rights or benefits, or receive preferential treatment.
Racial discrimination typically points out taxonomic differences between different groups of people, although anyone may be discriminated against on an ethnic or cultural basis, independently of their somatic differences. According to the United Nations conventions, there is no distinction between the term racial discrimination and ethnic discrimination.
Go Bears !!
Wow, easy there Irish. I'd hardly liken FTW's attraction to half puertorican girls to Hitler and his absurd sickness.
Really? 'Splain please.
If lovin her kind is wrong, I don't wanna be right.
Hahahahahahahahahaha. Nice Crown!
Meanwhile, back at football...
This year's draft starts in Prime time. Do I understand correctly that the Bears needn't show up until like, Saturday because it's just Round 1 on Thursday and Round 2 on Friday?
It seems to me that stretching the draft over 4 days really changes it's dynamics as teams will now have HOURS between the early rounds to adjust draft/trade strategies instead of just MINUTES.
PS: I was a big STRAT-O-MATIC player too. Baseball AND Football.
I played both those too, although not fanatically.
Al..Is this a Godell thing with the draft? I not sure how it will playout..And I also understand the Pro-Bowl is back in Hawaii and it will again play the week before the SB.. crap!
Uuuummm... Intelevision anyone? Football and Baseball were my favorites.
loved them. boxing? barnstormers? classic. Now i play Modern Warfare 2 and can't believe i used to think 10yard fight was the ultimate video game.
I don't know if this draft thing is Goodell's idea or what.
I liked when he came in as "hanging judge" Roger but I am beginning to wonder. I especially detest his zeal for putting a team in London or adding any mnore teams to the perfect number that is 32.
If Eddie Williams means Jason McKie is McGone, fine by me.
I was in a buddy's basement playing Foto-Electric Football one November Sunday in 1965 and we had the Bears-49ers game on the radio as "Galloping Gale" was busy scoring 6 TDs.
What the hell are you old-timers talking about? That old-timey game where the field vibrates and moves players? Not much of a gamer, but I did enjoy Techmo Bowl w/ Jerry, Bo, and Dickerson. Those games must have lasted forever. No wonder you guys have more patience than the instant gratification generations.
Tecmo SUPER Bowl was far superior. The playoffs were always SUPER fun as the other team always seemed to move 14 times faster.
Other classic from the game was that during the season there was a stat page for each player. You could go in each week and look at each player. There was a field that said "Condition:" with choices:
Excellenet (in green text)
Good
Fair
Poor (in pink)
Injured (in red?)
I can't recall all colors. Anyway. I played that game for at least 5 years straight until I got a Genesis and started playing NHL(PA) '93/'95/'96/'98 and madden games.
The best part about Tecmo Super Bowl was the amount of stats it kept. And the crap music. And Brad m-f-in Muster! A fullback very much unlike Jason McKie.
The Nigerian Nightmare was also in that game. Youtube "christian okoye tecmo super bowl". And then the Bo Jackson response. Hilarious.
That's so true about instant gratification Crown. Back in the day it was long waits looking at all those magical coloured lines on your television screen, interminable waits that sometimes winked out just before the game had fully loaded and you had to start the load all over again. And as for typing the fuckers in manually ...
Don't mean to offend. I have mad respect for the older fans on here. Sometimes I don't pick up all the references, but Albert in Tucson is a poet in my book.
Praise to us old farts! lol
Lobo, I don't see you as old for some reason.
It's the buzzcut ...
I may not be as old as some but it is scary when I know the some of the games that Al is talking about.
Lets put it this way I was born the year the bears went 11-1-2 and we beat the Giants for The League Championship. Historical year and leave it at that.
I played Strat-o-Matic Basketball in an internet league, back in 1995. My team was Karl Malone, The Spoon, Spree and Mookie Blaylock with Will Perdue at center. We got rolled.
I'm still hoping Olsen for a 2nd rounder, used on a OG. Probably dreaming though.
A #2 for Olsen? You're dreaming, gpldan.
The Cardinals couldn't get higher than a #3 for Boldin.
Murph, Crown, you are too kind.
Crown, the vibrating game was TRU-ACTION FOOTBALL among a host of other aliases, by TUDOR games. I think they STILL produce that thing and yeah, we had one. So did several pals but I never knew ANYONE who actually played a complete game with it. The players just went wherever they felt like,(mostly in circles) and passing was nigh impossible. Kicking field goals WAS possible about the most fun.
Ahhh! Tecmo Super Bowl. LOVED it, Mikebdot. I was able to take those Bears to 18-0,once. But only once. Strictly vs. the game, mind you, which would periodically screw you over with key turnovers to spoil a perfect season. Having to play and beat Barry Sanders' Lions twice was definitely a challenge too.
Al...had the TRU-ACTION FOOTBALL as a kid..I think it just reminded me what the Bears have been doing for the last few years
your 2006-2009 Bears "The players just went wherever they felt like,(mostly in circles) and passing was nigh impossible."
How timely (Boom!): http://www.tecmobowlgame.com/tecmobowlkickoff/index.html
Yah I own that for my DS Lite, wife makes fun of me everytime I play it for playing an ancient football game on my ds instead of the new madden on my PS3 hooked up to the big screen. But I don't care, there is just somethin about that game.
Keepin' it real with Franchise mode Madden 08 on the PS2. I've never played another human being at Madden so I don't know what defeat or real competition feels like. You score at will and stop the opposition at will, but you always come back for more ... knowing that one day you'll break 1000 yards passing in a single game. Old folks homes 50 years from now will just be lots of old dudes playing Madden, and the old dears pissing themselves silently in the corner as some old prune gets all excited when he scores with the bomb ..."In your face Primetime !"
Women may be reading this ..... or do they already all know about the importance of Madden ?
dropping Jason Mckie would so make my day, on AP and Wolfe, I would like for Marts to see if he thinks wolfe would be a good fit for his offense, seems like if wolfe gets space on some screen passes in Faulk like fashion he could do some good.
Love Greg Olsen, but I wonder if we could move into the early second round to get a viable safety or using him packaged with another later round draft pick to get a greater early round pick. I would even take a great offensive line guy using hi the same way if we can get an earlier round good or great sure thing type pick. Problem is that JA is no good at early round picks so hopefully Mart's input would solve that problem particular if its an O lineman or receiver.
On K. Bell, I think that he is good even though we didnt get to see much of him, he is hungry to show his stuff and appreciative of the opportunity, so here's to hoping we can see more of him.
On the QB front, I was concerned all last year that we needed another QB, cause even though know you guys are going to yell at me I see Hanie as a Cade McNown guy until further notice and if we end up having injury problems at the QB position I don't think he is the guy we want out there. So maybe on Hill, if Bulger was available yes to him. Other than that I am sure that there will be some roster cuts and some good players will be potentially available.
Well let's hope the Bears do some interesting stuff between now and the season's start.
I think that's how it works FTW - certainly according to Websters. Using that exact verbiage anyway. Because for every Jessica Alba (I don't know where she's from, I thought she was American, which would make her half-Irish) there'll be 10,000 girls who do not look like Jessica Alba. It's generalising about a whole ethnic group based on one person. So in order to extract yourself from the fine line between Racism and political correctness, you'd need to say you think that race is hot based on multiple examples. The world is an ass.
Wow, easy there Irish. I'd hardly liken FTW's attraction to half puertorican girls to Hitler and his insanity.

Holy fucksticks Batman, Lovie's been pulling the wool over our eyes - he's keeping the starters on the bench ! What the hell was this kid sitting on the bench last year for ? He should have been our main guy in the backfield ! Jebus clucking Heist ...
Irish, I'm in.
You right guys, Basanez is out guy. At least with him he can only get better but the rest of these other clowns all have spaghetti arms and noodle dicks.
Dave Meggett... Nice Murph! Blast from the past, totally forgot about that guy. He was a little stud, kinda like lionel 'littel train' james for the bolts.
HuH??
Doc.... uhm.... I am not sure a go on the idea Wolfey would flourish in MM's scheme..I do see your point on AP I just wish he'd bulk up more maybe he an HH can get in the gym and beat some iron.
I mean we are all speculating of how this rotation or Carousel as some may say.. how MM is going to chose the rb's. I personally am not sold on Wolfey or Pedey and as for MKFlee bye.bye
Thought they might have signed the backfield banger I was after in Williams - I'm assuming he can run ? At 250 I hope the dude can take a hand off ...
Has Angelo run out of money and screwed the pooch, left us without a FS ? We need a CB too, if we lose one we're in deep doo-doo. Lose two and we're screwed. Why haven't we signed Jamar Williams yet ? We're screwed if he walks too. HH is a liability and he's too small. Williams is small too, but he's good. Blowing it all on Peppers could come back and bite us on the ass in a big way. Mr. Angelo has work to do. And give Hank Baskett a job Jerry, if we go into battle next year with Rashied Davis and Juaquin Iglesias I'll fucking puke.
And don't forget the two guards for Lobo for the love of baby Jebus ...
Irish..thanks for nod on the guards..and again baby jebus is may favorite out of all the jebuses.lol

Al, as an avid RISK player the board game kicks the living shit out of the computer version. It's similar to football in that it turns friends and family into mortal enemies. Plus there is beer to be drunk and people to fight with.

McCoy or Suh ARE going to the Lions. They can't miss with the second pick. Rams go Bradford, Lions go Suh. Rams go Suh, Lions go BRadford etc. We're screwed no matter which tackle they get ...
Super Sunday on the Commodore 64 ? It was a great way of finding out about the old players as old superbowl teams battled it out ...
Everyone's a bit tetchy for sure, Doc. [Fuck you] there's all this subliminal weirdness since The Olsen Incident (gobble my cock) and people are just going off on each other (fuck off) and getting all weird (eat my warm toejam) and it's not right.

Hey ! Whoaaa. ....
doc.irish....BBBBBBBBBBBBAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHAAAAAA!!!
I think it's we are getting pumped about the direction we are going for a change.. DAMN IT I WANT THE SEASON TO START TODAY!!!!!
But we would have been dancing with Rex Grossout ! If they were in a weed-fuelled 'stupor' they never would have let TJ walk out the door. This is how it should have gone down.
Lovie : TJ wants to go to NY and bang white NY chicks ...
Angelo : He's a racist ?
Lovie : No ...no ... he just likes bangin' white chicks, so do we let him go ?
Angelo : (exhaling) Nah dude, you f***in' crazy... why ? I'd just fuck the draft picks up anyway .....
Lovie : (laughing) Yeah ... huhhhuhhh ...
Angelo: Hey ... it's my go on Tecmo ....c'mon man you've had it forever ....gimme that ... fucker ...
Morrisey's changed his tune - now Cutler's problems were a lot to do with his line and receivers ! I thought Morrissey had him down as the world's worst QB ever ! I agree 100% with "...They need another safety, another cornerback and two top-notch wide receivers. If they replaced the entire offensive line, no one would cry. There's so much more work to be done."
Even a stopped clock is right twice a day ....
I'm not sure they need another corner and TWO receivers. I hate to repeat the constant mantra going about the Bears' system but the success of the secondary DOES rely on the pressure on the opposing teams QB. To be honest I'm not even sure we need a new safety. Afalava was a rookie.
Didn't you and I do this dance last thread A7? D
Interestingly, I read an article saying T.E Ben Watson from the Patriots just signed with the Browns. This is a curious move by the Pats to let him go. Maybe they are thinking of trading one of their multiple 2nd rd picks to the Bears for Greg Olsen? This is only my opinion and a observation only. I am not saying we should or shouldnt trade Olsen, so dont call me unintelligent,LOL. I do think that if we do trade Olsen, he will end up a Patriot for a 2nd rd pick. I have mixed feelings about it. On one hand Olsen really helps us on offense, but a 2nd rd pick in the top half of the draft would really help as well, just sayin. I have a feeling that one of Sharpers visits in free agency will be with the Bears, there is mutual interest there. I think Sharper would fit in well with our defense. Peppers should help him get plenty of chances at picks from bad throws. We should also go for the L.Guard Lilja the Colts recently released, then Omiyale could return to his natural position and compete for a starting role at r-tackle. I hate the offseason, it lasts Forever, I miss Football!!
IF we can get a 2nd for Olsen, IF, I would throw Max's mother into the deal. Fucking trade the guy already please!
Call me whateverthefuckyouwant...
She's not even worth a 7th rounder. Hell, you can't even get a pound of munster in Indiana for Max's mom (who is prominently displayed below)

Here's the big question is that Max's sister or mama or are the one in the same!!
MB..I said earlier in the post or yesterday..shit I can't remeber... trade his ass to New England and get Stephen Neal..NOW!!!! and maybe more?
+1 Lobo, +1
love the "boom roasted" line...
Dude, really?
We need 2 corners AND 2 FSs. We don't have any FSs, all of our S are SS. We don't have one Guy who's a true FS. I agree that alfalfa seems to have some great upside potential, and I think he'll be a strong SS (see how I did that)
MB..as I said to Irish..Where are my guards and baby Jebus!!lol
Thanks to Angelo they're still playing for other teams!
What is this crap on the screen here btw - advertising banners - is that shit going to be all over the place, you can't read the posts !

Sorry for the hundred posts
Joe..Don't worry brother every once in a while the blog has this glitch were it says it can't post it. but yet after a couple of hours there's your post......It's a conspiracy man.......McCaskey's not wanting us to write the truth about them and the way they manage. LOL!!!
Shaun Hill has received permission to talk to teams regarding a possible trade. I say sign him and sign him yesterday. It would be a mistake for the Bears to not address the backup QB position and Hill would be a decent addition to our team.
Irish..Where are my two Guards!!! and bay Jebus!!!lol
Unfortunately the NFL isn't made up of career special teams players. Time to turn over the young talent.
All I have to say to Hitler and his disgusting ilk is
