perfect pic. BEAR DOWN!!!!!
(fuck. how did we get to this point?)
We didn't get to this point. They did. We are the suckers that invest our time, money and effort into following this miserable football experiment called the Chicago Bears. Remember, they get paid for this, we don't. This year has really helped me put the Bears back into a propper perspective. I hope the organization loses lots of money because we fans say no more. Give us a winner or we simply just won't give you our money anymore until you do. That means tickets, Nfl apparel, NFL Network, etc. I refuse to Blow 500 Bucks to watch the Bears play on Direct TV from Texas just to see this crap. I'm not gonna take it anymore.
Get rid of Lovie, Hire a real coach, spend some money on real players and then come knock on my door.
Finally...a photo that actually matches the state of this team. Yikes!
It will be strange watching today. Part of me hopes we lose...the only way Lovie sees the door in my opinion if he has a loss to a terrible team like the Rams and hits absolute rock bottom. On the other hand, if they win, it will feel a little bit good and I don't expect the Bears to fire Lovie anyways.
In any event, enjoy the game today everyone.
Jeff...hahahahahahaha as everyone before said great pic...kudos.
I am very lucky today down here in the Southwest we will not get the Bad News Bears.
We will not go through the feelings of my skin being pulled off and my blood pressure going through the roof.
It's sad though, I express to the family that these 16-19 special days, are Bear Days. And during these small windows I get to root and cheer for our team. But this year WOW!!!
Have I been able to get the HONEY DUE LIST DOWN! SHIT!!!! What the hell is happening.
My Sundays have become pathetic. Thank you Bears for FU!@@$#@#$ING me over with the the LIMP DICK LOVIE SHOW!!!!
Still though.. BEAR DOWN!
Very well done Jeff... although, I've always pictured us a grizzies. It's too bad we're this:

Like most of you guys I'm pretty torn today. I just want JA and lovie and their crews fired and for this nightmare to be over. Let's get Cowher in here ASAP and get this: http://www.science-facts.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/grizzly-bear-250x250.png for many years to come.
BIYP!
GOOD MORNING BEARS FANS!!!!!!! It's your Bronco lovin' MAMA here to help you cheer your team to a victory today!!!!! After the Broncs dump the Chiefs I'm looking forward to Jay (who said this week there's only a "couple" of games left) to lead the Team to an incredible victory over the Rams. Go Bears!
I've read a lot of comments this week from Bears fans that Jay Cutler is to be commended for taking the "high road" amid all the flack he has been taking for his performance level. Well, all I can say is after his whining and crying in Denver, he knows he BETTER take the high road now or he is toast. If he comes off with any attitude at all in Chicago he would be crucified upside down and boiled in oil. He KNOWS this - He knows he had better act like an adult even if he isn't one.
Jay "DOUGH BOY" Cutler! He's been eating a few too many cinnamon buns can't you tell?
Great, great picture, Jeff!
You're absolutely right, Jon. I hope Kyle Orton AND Mike Brown have good games. But in the end...Go Broncos!
The truth is - The Bears do have some high quality players. The truth is the Broncos are not really all that good. And I will tell you this. Cutler has more raw talent than Orton ever will but can it ever be harnassed or shaped? Time will tell. I know in my heart my Broncos team are just imposters this years and when the season is over both the Broncos and the Bears will have a lot of issues to address. I don't wish the Bears bad luck but personally I detest the way Cutler behaved here and frankly don't care whether he succeeds or not.
You detest the way he acted there? You mean, when a 32 year old coach comes in, replaces the coach who brought you there, immediately starts angling for Matt Cassel, let's you know he's looking for a plane ticket for you - bungles all relations with the media, then decides you need to suck it up after the Cassel deal falls through and prove to HIM that you belong there, despite a pro bowl appearance - then you DESPISE the fact he wanted out and demanded a trade?
Orton will last you maybe one more year, and then he will either get injured or his limited arm will force you to look elsewhere. Once the film was studied, he was shut down. Now adjustments have been made and we'll see.
Cutler is gutting it out behind the worst O line in the NFL. He's getting maybe 2-3 seconds before the ball has to leave his hand, and he still makes touch throws for TDs, like the one to Knox in the first half of the Vikes game. He was in the gun, had to run back and loft that off his back foot, because his line literally just allowed all the rushers right on past.
And yet, Cutler doesn't call them out in the press. He gets slammed again and again, gets up and tries again.
We'll be keeping track of what you fuckers do with those draft picks mind you. We converted your throw away pick in the deal into Johnny Knox.
Go Chiefs. I hope Mike Brown decapitates Orton.
Well said Mac. Tired of all of that 'crybaby' bullshit. That's for Urlacher. Only thing I'd change is the time Cutler has to throw : 1.2 seconds.

Brian McCaskey = Not a douchebag.
Can pull a Rocky Wirtz and get Jeff Fisher + McGinnis as DC in here (wouldn't that be ironic).
Hey, if Brian is the antithesis of Mike, then go for it. The team isn't going to be sold, so that sounds about as good as we can hope for. Lovie coached his way out of town. I knew it was a HORRIBLE sign when Rod Maranelli was signed. Let's take the 0-16 Lions coach, who is a 'players' coach (i.e. he likes being liked) and put him in charge of the DL. What could possibly go wrong? He'll massage Butter Harris' feet for him, make sure he has his comfy pillow on the airplane. He'll push for Gaines Adams to be acquired, who looks like a Kenyan marathon runner in a Dan Hampton halloween costume. Oh, but NOOOOOOO he's really the next great speed rusher, aka the Freak or Simeon Rice.
Yeah, right. Maranelli is senile.
Let's get this over with already.
I have a vision in my head.
Virginia McCaskey played by Marlon Brando (if anybody could do it, Marlon could. He'd make you believe it too.)
Mike McCaskey is Fredo Corleone. Brian McCaskey is Michael Corleone.
Take Mike out on a boat ride.
I'll play the Irishman that takes him out on the boat.
Won't everybody see the steam rising off the chestdump ?
I guess Urlacher was on WBBM 15 minutes ago. Larry 'Tool' Mayer blogged about it at chicagobears.com.
I can't cut and paste out of a flash window, but you can head over there and read what Mayer says. Brian basically said he needs to watch his mouth but supports his team mates. And that he's a fan like the rest of us.
I support that.
I mean, I support Urlacher being out of a Bears uniform, maybe in another uniform if we can get something for him, and then he can be a fan all he likes.
To hell with Jeff Fisher. If he came here I see NO improvement to this team. He is last on my list of favorite Head Coach candidates, behind Jon Gruden even. He is merely the long-tenured hot blooded version of Lovie Smith. Sure he coaches teams that become mediocre/good, but he can't DO anything with 'em. Playoff loss after playoff loss after playoff loss. Cowher, Shanahan, Gruden, and Holmgren are infinately better coaches in my book. They all sport rings. With Fisher I would feel the same way I do about Lovie Smith now...coaching the same old hopeless, helpless Bears.
Let's get a winner for once! Many fans seem to think Fisher's status as a former Bear merits his appointment as Heach Coach. But we deserve a winner...and former Bears by and large haven't been winners because the Bears straight up sucked through most of my adulthood. My patience has become exhausted with these boneheaded management and hiring decisions.
I can't say that I want the Bears to lose today. But if they were to lose to the lowly Rams (who are only 3 games behind the Bears, remember) then it might be better for the organization in the long run. I don't know...you weigh the dilemma yourselves.
imagine that. Forte just fumbled the ball away in the first series with good field position. Give me a break.
When will we get a good game. Just one, thats all I'm asking for.
I don't even play my bears players on my fantasy teams anymore. Thats how bad its been. Hopefully we see a shut out and turner throws caution to the wind and the Bears blow em out.
Olsen got zero fantasy points today.
Unfortunately I don't think that will happen.
Rex was the best quarterback the Bears have had since Luckman. Maybe we can trade forte for him. I sure do miss him.
Whoopee. 1st down.
Dont worry about being an idiot Max. I think youre in good company here. We're all Bears fans aren't we.
Cutler is throwing the ball well today. Nice catch by Earl, but I couldn't believe he couldn't out run the secondary, and then couldn't hold on to the damn ball. Lucky break for the Bears. Now let's score another TD!
Earl needs to do a better job of adjusting and fighting for the ball.
Generally.
Glad I didn't get up to watch that muck. After a cursory glance through the drive histories I see that on the very first play on 7 possessions, the Bears ran left. That's not just bad play-calling, it's not even remembering the plays you've just called. Genius.
at least they were outside runs and cutbacks that gave us a chance instead of up the gut bullshit.
Brett Favre is the luckiest motherfucker on the planet. he has thrown 3 super shitty passes, 2 of which should have been pick 6's but were dropped miraculously.
Regarding the Bears, for all of you that didn't watch the game but are trying to comment on the plays that were called or the score or whatever, just know that we went down the field on our passes more, Jay threw some sweet passes that would have added a TD and another 70 yards onto his pass total but there was either only 1 foot in bounds, pass interference, plays that should have been pass interference but were good passes, etc. No picks and a win, let's back away from the ledge a bit. we won the game.
favre threw another shit pass that would have chicago fans calling for Hutchinson, finally the Cardinal player held onto the ball for an INT.
here is how much the networks blow favre:
he is single handedly losing the game for the Vikings and could have been on track for 4 INT's if the fucking Cardinals could catch balls thrown directly into their hands and chests, YET....
The Al Michaels commercial teaser as they head to commercial is Brett Farve throwing a completion, him running around with his hand up, etc.
Not one comment how he is fucking the game up single handedly. Collinsworth would be telling us the Cutler must be having a diabetic reaction or some shit.
and....Another INT
I LOVE watching Narcissus fall apart against the [Chicago] Cardinals!
It's Packer Week...Bear Down
Well, it ain't the first round of the playoffs, but it's going to make it a little tougher for them to get a first round bye.
Vikings suck...thank god that Packer Week is here!!!
Bear Down, beeetches!
At least Jay didnt throw another red zone pick.
Crap ... nice pass by Cutler and better catch by Hester. Hester needs to get both feet in bounds.
Yet.
someone have a link for me in Japan???
Could we trade for Stephen Jackson?
Matt Forte and Hester for Jackson.
Grossman is 1 for 5 for 7 yards
Grossman is starting for the Texans. Forte is not the same player, Hester is to small at WR and should be Returning kicks cause thats what he does best. Oline still looks retarded, Lovie still looks retarded, and this game has no meanin to me at all, the bears are beating a sorry ass team.
Well said fresno. I agree.
Nice play call Turner, you fucking loser. Bad O-Line or not, Forte needs to make defenders miss and break some tackles.
looks like the Special teams is retarded to
If you really think about it, just the fact that the Bears have made Hester the #1 WR is an acknowledgment that they don't know how to draft worth a damn. If they had done a halfway decent job drafting and filling needs Hester wouldnt have been a consideration no matter how many special teams touchdowns he scored. Hester asked for more money and the Bears owners being the cheap bastards that they have always been figured they would save on WR pay.
Please dont get a safety.
Anyone have a stream link?
Hester needs to start catching the damn ball on PRs and attempting a return. We can put anyone back there to do a fair catch, or let the ball land inside the 5 yard line.
Pucker up Bears fans. I smell trouble.
WOW!!!! DID YOU SEE THAT SHIT!!!! reminded me of an '06 turnover lol
At least no picks yet.
can we sim this season and get to the end of wk. 17? like right now?
I knew it. My nose never lies. The Bears have to learn to walk before they can get cute. Give me a break. Once again, ZERO points off of a turnover in their redzone.
OMG ... horrible offensive play calling by Turner in the Red Zone ... and now a fake FG that had no chance of going anywhere. This team may beat the Rams today, but they are horrible.
can we sim this season up to the end of week 17? like right now? it's come to doing a fake FG to get points? what a sham.
got to go for the points there and not the fake field goal, this is not grade school football.
When the coaching staff harms the teams chances to win week in and week out you've gotta know the player are getting pissed.
I hope the Bears lose now because of that bull**** fake FG. It's been a miserable season, and you are trying to salvage what little bit you can. So I guess thats the perfect time to get ****ing cute.
Looks like the Rams have figured out Lovie's defensive. Started at their own 10 yard line, and have drove 80 yards into the Red Zone.
Anybody think the bears will win this game now? That last series is a classic example of why Lovie has to go. Lovie.... now you're hurting our team. For the good of the Bears please resign because I know the McCaskeys won't fire you.
Grossman has been ineffective with the Texans, and they pulled and replaced him with Matt Schabb (sp?) who has a bad shoulder. I was actually hoping to see Grossman play well.
Grossman is washed up, sorry but the Bears organization totally destroyed any of the game day mentality he needed to be a winner. Lovie and the Bears organization left him out to dry for the media in to break him down in '06.
Jamar Williams is our best player on the field today. I'm not sure that's a good thing.
I have thought about this for a while and have come up with the conclusion that Earl Bennett is out best receiver...and we rarely throw to him. he fucking catches anything you throw at him. give him the damn ball. 3rd and must have? throw it to bennett god damn it. 2 and 10? throw it to Bennett. just do it.
Is is just me or does Hester suck in the return game since he became our super dynamic and product receiver. Way to go J.A. way to go.
Wow. Williams is a big improvement over Pace, huh?
nice hit by nick roach. really, nice hit.
Im telling you, the Bears have to spend all their resources for the next two years on offensive player. The defense will hold together enough to keep us competitive as long as we have a productive scoring offense.
How many times have you seen holding kick us in the nuts this year. Come on Bears.
is it me or does it seem that Forte runs into tacklers on purpose?
no redzone INT's please. Field goal at least.
Throw it to Olsen.
I need my fantasy points.
Hey, he threw it to a guy in a blue shirt in the end zone. That's different.
I bet Turner called another Forte up the middle and Jay changed the call.
Cool, Devin sporting #13 jersey now...
Jamar Williams is balling. Last year, Forte bounces to the outside there and makes a big play. This is ugly.
there any streams to the game? left my homeboy's house who has sunday ticket
FQ, save this link. Scroll down till you see thebears game. You just missed a sweet bubble screen on 3/6 and then a great punt return by a slow white guy. Awesome!
http://www.channelsurfing.net/
tried it, but it's asking for a password. do you have it?
Maybe we should root against the bears every week. They seem to play better when we do.
How cool is it that the Bears D actually looks decent against only the most shiete teams in the league. God I'm sick of this shit... we need a big ass change next year... please, please, please Virginia.
Our Offense needs some fucking Mohawk Grenades.
Several thoughts:
1. AA having a solid game today.
2. Bubble screen fucking blows
3. THROW THE FUCKING BALL TO EARL BENNETT
The Rams are out Bears-ing the Bears.
the are Bears-ing the shit out of themselves
make the fucking throw you douche, period... stop whining for fuck sake.
Well they threw it to Bennett
even though that one didn't work out, i like the looks to our most proficient route runner. keep doing it Ron, just don't make him run a bubble screen now.
Im looking into my crystal bullshit ball and I see a touchdown and 2 point conversion in approximately 3 mins.
well done. Why the hell would we put Bennet back there? Jesus.
MB30SD, do you have the password to the channelsurfing sight?
Sorry FQ. Didn't see this.
For next time, if you look carefully on the window that opens up, it will list it. I almost missed it too. Save that link, they always have the games on, it's money.
Ok here is a legit, honest question- why is this team worse than last year?
Better at QB. Same at Oline, RB. Better at WR by far. Dline same, slightly better DBs. Worse at LB with 54 out.
So what the hell is it?
My guess- Vikings and Pack are better and the schedule is worse.. not sure.
One thing you have to keep in mind about our KR and PR team; LB's make up a lot of the best players. We're down 3 LB's. I agree Devin should catch a punt once in a while but it's not like the returns are being set up.
I saw Garza and Omiyale pulling a few times and opening up some runs on the edge. I know it's the Rams but still ...
Why do people complain when Cutler is jawing with the refs? The guy tackled Bennett before the ball got there and it's in the middle of the field. How do the refs not see that?
Trying to stay positive, I think we have a chance to beat the Lions.
Go Bears!
Here we go. Hold onto your arseholes
because the Bears feel that if you are a receiver you must be a punt returner, even though the 2 have nothing to do with each other.
playing not to lose...
Thoughts...
Jay is having a decent day so far...which is pathetic. He has a 50% completion percentage for moderate yardage and a TD. The kid is capable of so so much more.
Kahlil Bell is also doing well on the ground. At the moment he is averaging 3.2 ypc while Forte is averaging 2.9. This is the most pathetic run game I can remember.
it looks like Mike Green will get another pass and will remain our MLB as other teams have real linebackers
No way the Bears lose this game. They have manhandled the lambs all afternoon and it looks like they are about to wrap up another dominating performance.
we have to finish these games off on offense.
How many more times are we going to give them the ball. Fuck!
what are you talking about. Our dominating defense is what Chicago Bear football is all about.
im being smart assish
nothing better than a bears win for the noon game and now i have the rest of yhe day to do man stuff. Bring on the Pack.
This game is the proverbial deuce on the river. It changes nothing.
I wonder who we would have drafted in the 1st round if Orton had of taken us to 10-6 versus giving the Broncos our 1st pick at 6-10.
Don't be Urlacher stupid, c'mon now.
I know. I feel kinda dirty.
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
over yet?
OK....
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
It could be worse. We could be as bad as the Rams.
Bears still suck, and Mike V we arent that much better. If the rams would of have a decent pass game then the bears would of loss.
I know. But I still think we are in much better shape than the Lambs.
Let's talk about the positives. Jamar Williams?
WE are the best of the worst teams.
this statement doesn't make me feel all warm and cozy
or as the raiders....
o wait...they DID beat a team. by throwing a TD in the redzone. not a pick. and w/ 15 seconds to go.
A W isn't supposed to feel like this.
Who is that guy with #23 and what did he do to Devin Hester?
When you watch a team like the Vikings, Saints or Colts it makes me realize how far we have to go. The call Orton a game manager. That's NOT going to get us to a SB. Look how the really great quarterbacks take charge of their teams and MOVE THE DAMN BALL! They are like a machine and almost always come through on clutch plays. It is a joy to watch the Colts or the Vikings (unless we happen to be playing them). That's the way it's done! I think it takes years to get to that point and a good coaching staff to build and develop players. Don't see that in the near future for my beloved Broncos or the Bears though.
Joseph, get over Mike Brown. He's washed up. All last year he was a day late and a dollar short. He had another pick today. Big Whoop. It was a deflected pass that bounced his way. That's all he has left. He's in the vicinity but that's all. He picks over throws and deflections.
Don't get me wrong. I loved the guy before all the injuries killed what little speed he had. He's a stand up guy and a good leader but that counts for nothing if you can't cut the mustard.
Go Bears!
Canada, the refs missed not one but two calls on the DB that play, but how does it help us for Jay to get all lame and in the refs face? He just looks like a red faced child that
I agree it doesn't help but you know Lovie isn't going to say anything. That throw would have been in stride if the guy didn't tackle Bennett before the ball arrived. Cutler carried on too long after the blown call but I would expect the QB or the player that was fouled to complain some. Wouldn't you? The rest of the skill players are so passive it's unreal. If you get in the refs ears when they blow calls the refs should bear down a little more. If nobody says anything, it's status quo. It's not the reason for our shitty record but we've gotten hosed on more calls this year than in the last few. Granted that's the mark of a lousy team but we get hosed at least once or twice every week on obvious calls/non-calls.
Oh well, Go Bears!
ya right i can see lovie running out on the field to argue
BTW, I'm all about Cutler as our QB. If we can actually pull together a reasonable line and a semblance of a running game for him, I think he can take us all the way.
But he most assuredly needs to mature into an interested, focused, connected leader of this team by next year if he's to fulfill his prophecy. All I want for Xmas is a win next week. BIYP!
I know you're not a Cutler hater and I agree he needs to grow up on the field but you see QB's bitch all the time about bad calls. He just needs to state his case and move on.
Go Bears!
I'm with you Canada, but like you stated above... if we were worth a shit this year those calls wouldn't be so damn important to us.
Anyway, I just hope we can pull it together next week.
Well, that game sucked.
