I have a feeling the ass kicking is going to be long and hard. I will be watching, hoping, praying this team pulls one out of their collective asses.
I have not had the feeling that the Bears had no chance against the Pack in a long time. But this team is so poor that it is nearly to that point. But the Brownies beat the Steelers,so yes i will tune in and hope our boys grow a set this afternoon.
Go BEARSSSSSSSS.
I guess I'm luckey I live here in Hampton Roads VA. Their biggest concern is the sorry good for nothing Wash. RedSkins & NASCAR. So I didn't get to see the Green Bay Chicago Bears game. Forgive me for saying this but anytime the BEARS bomb out my backup favorite is the Colts. But!, no matter what I still pull for the Bears right down to the FINISH.
If they win, they could deliver a mortal blow to the Packers' playoff aspirations.
If they lose, it's just one step closer to Lovie Smith getting the axe. Remember this; in 2004 when Lovie Smith took the podium to address the media as Head Coach of the Chicago Bears he told us that his big goal was to beat Green Bay. So far he has been marginally successful at that; and he has NEVER been swept by the Packers. What if he is swept by the Pack today? Does that turn up the head beneath his ass?
Just something to keep in mind. Begrudgingly, Bear Down.
Heat...I meant heat beneath his ass.
But he might also have his head beneath his ass. What a lucky Freudian slip.
Let's leave the scat references to Da Coach's Mustache.
Gilbert is inactive again this week. WTF
I want to see what Aquaman has.
Love the picture of #51. My all-time favorite Bear. #2 is Gale and #3 is Walter.
We have a chance today but we have to win the turnover battle and ST's. We used to beat teams with that formula. Of course, the D was way better but it can happen. The FudgePackers are a better match for us than the BiQueens. It's not like I'd bet on the Bears but I don't feel hopeless like the game against the Nordic Douchebags up in the land of 10,000 assholes.
BTW, it's about -20 F up here today so I'm not going to the sports bar to watch it. Yeah, I know that makes me a candy ass. If anyone has a link to the game on the net, I would really appreciate the info. Thanks.
Go Bears!
*&%$#@! I AM THE GREATEST !! I could out-block out-tackle outkickyourass that white trash bum Butkus AND Outrun that four-eyed mofo "oh my knee!" Sayers at the same time. Goddamn.
Make the D watch this before the game. If how Butkus played doesn't fire you up, it's time to hang em up.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sxR9qYSHt8U
That didn't work. Make the D watch this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QV8nIHaiTNM&feature=related
And I dare any fan to say that they want the Bears to lose this game. If you do you may have just lost touch with why you love this sport so much.
For one damn Sunday afternoon.
Bear the fuck down!!
If the Bears don't show up today, the fans will be ready to boo and boo hard. I can only hope Jay doesn't get killed trying to redeem himself for his week 1 performance. He's gonna need some serious help today.
You are kidding me. Nice 3rd down call, Turner.
Plenty of football to play. Not so sure that's such a good thing.
that was my first thought Max. and what the fuck was Bullocks doing on that play?
Attaboy Omiyale..Plug.
I'm guessing the D didn't watch
I have a feeling the Bears are going to be down 14-0 very soon. Omaliyae simply sucks! False start, then a holding penalty ... by himself he sapped the life out of the Bears series. And I can't forget, RTs ingenious play calling.
One more for the Josh Bullocks Youtube highlight reel.
What an idiot.
Don't challenge fucker
fuck
Tillman just got burned by Jennings. GB is challenging the TD, and the way things have gone for the Bears this season, it will probably be overturned in favor of the Packers.
hey Ron, have you ever heard of misdirection plays? Watch the Packers first play on this drive, you might learn something. Nice call Mike on Bullocks.
Well... I think a lot of people are going to get their wish from the ownership if this keeps up.
Yes!! And I was worried.
Bears just got lucky. That WAS a touchdown to Jennings.
Timeout??!!
Where is the safety help? Give them a free play on another penalty for stupidity.
why do we not go with Beek over Omiyale??
just turned this game on....heard about the 1st play of scrimmage. this game is gonna make me cringe.
I really hate GB, but I hate Lovie & Turner much more!!!!
If your gonna blitz on 3rd and 11, why don't you play press coverage?
Hey Cor, the pic is kinda fuzzy, is that a Northern or a Muskie? How big is it? NICE!!
Muskie. Caught it on a light pole with 10# test and 1/8 ounce rooster tail. Was bass fishing, but had a leader. 48" and 30 lbs on the nose. Got really lucky.
SWEET!! I've never caught a Muskie (or a fish that big). I've caught a lot of fish in the 8-15 lb range but that's it.
Go Bears!
Whenever Cutler zips the ball it usually ends at a receiver.
I am not suprised at all. This is our team. We have the talent but the coaching is horrible. also, Where is the offense? havent seen them all game.
Please God, end the game quickly...
I don't understand the Soldier Field crowd.... They stil have some hope? Wow!
The bears might be worse off then I originally thought. This game should be 21-0.. Get it together, Packers!
GO PACK GO!!!
If the Bears don't drive and score on this possession, game over.
Too bad Davis is getting all of the fucking returns..
Why would Packers fan come on this blog? Talk about no life.
Too funny.. I'm just having a little fun, & thought this blog was open to the general public. Next time you decide to comment.. 1) stay a little bit more classy, just a little bit.. 2) try NOT to completely expose yourself as mindless troll.
.. This Aromashadu fellow looks like he can be a nice player given the playing time, and he's a big target too for Jay. How come I haven't seen more of this guy?
Because our head coach and offensive coordinator are complete morons.
I'm not kidding.
That's a TD
Have you noticed how Lovie uses the challenges like hail mary's? I think he should stop counting on these ridiculous challenges. Its embarrassing to watch.
No fucking doubt about that one!!!!
Yay...... Touchdown. Da Bears
why isn't aromashadu getting more snaps? every time i've seen him, he's done really well.
Nice pass to Knox
That's what I'm talking about ... nice catch by Knox and even better throw by Cutler! Now we're back in this game as long as we can prevent Green Bay from scoring before half.
Well, dude still has it. Nice one Jay (+Johnny).
Wow, Gould cannot kick inside the 2 minute warning, that's the 3rd time this year.
Way to blow Tommie's great play
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Keep hope alive! Maybe this will be like last year. Dominated in first half, come back in 2nd half. Maybe get a few fluke plays?
Nice hit to cause the fumble. Manning needed to fall on the ball instead of trying to run withit.
Get the hell off the field damnit!!
What did Mannelly do to get 15 yarder?
How bout 3 touchdowns in second half.
1: Defensive score off a turnover.
2: Forte needs to bust a 60 yard run.
3: Cutler finds Olsen in the back of the end zone in the 4th Qtr.
2nd good kick in a row by our best player.
Bears may score 3 td's, but they have to stop the Packers too. Not an easy thing for the Bears to do against anybody.
One down, two to go.
The success of Aroma and the Williams Boys proves again that Lovie and Turner MUST BE FIRED
OK, Lovie Smith needs to be fired simply for keeping Aromashadou inactive for so many games. Obviously Cutler likes throwing to him and trusts him--which was common knowledge since training camp--and the combo works. Shame on Lovie for not giving his franchise QB the tools he needs.
Arambishouda (sp?) is looking very good. I have to question why the Bears have kept him off the field all season. Knox and Arambishouda are legite WRs, get rid of Hester and Bennet. Hester should be delegated to KOs and PRs.
get rid of Bennett? worst comment of all time. yeah, who would want a posession receiver that catches everything you throw to him?
No doubt in my mind the Bears will blow this game, it's coming don't worry.
A close and competetive game against a good football team? That's a suprise i like from my Bears! Beat the Pack!
Don't worry
WhyyyyyyYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY?
This interception will get coaches fired.
Cutler has to be trying to get the coaches fired. (Hope, hope)
Its sad to say but all I want are my fantasy points now. I have Jennings, Grant and the Packers D. If it wasnt for fantasy football this year my season would be screwed.
At the beginning of the season I played Forte, Cutler and Knox but was loosing all my games. I refused to play packer and viking players but that all changed when the Bears showed my how bad they were this year.
I've long dropped Olsen/hester/Forte. No one picked them up off waivers....
..... And the coaches in their bubbles, and they're all made of ticky-tack, and the coaches in their bubbles and they all suck Satan's c*ck ....
Even David Haugh, the Chairman of the Commitee to Save Lovie Smith's Job has seen the light:
www.chicagotribune.com/sports/football/bears/chi-14-haugh-bears-packers-dec14,0,6480311.column
the Bears played the Packers hard but penalties and that Nick Collins interception killed us. I wouldn't compare these guys to the really shitty teams of old, that is just obnoxious but we need to put in a couple pieces before we are consistent. Forte is definitely a 2nd tier running back though. Brutal.
To compare the current Bea(gg)ars roster to any group from the past would 1st require raising both Old Man Halas and Abe Gibron from the dead - whoops,. she did it again!
Meh. I'm over it.
Have we got a new coach yet?
Look people...McCaskeys, Phillips, and Angelo.
Steve Mariucci was a good coach for San Francisco. He coached the 49ers for six year and made the playoffs four times.
Lovie Smith has coached the Chicago Bears six year and missed the playoffs four times. How is it going to be ANY DIFFERENT next year or any subsequent year in which Smith is the head coach?
IT'S NOT. Mediocre coach built a mediocre team. Chicagoans are crazy about "change." Change this. Change that. Change you can believe in. Well, the only change I believe in is changing the coaching staff.
However, I as a lifelong Bears fan have NO faith that my organization will make the appropriate choice...because it hasn't made good choices since George Halas died. Instead it will make the decision it always makes...save some money...maybe it will get better next year...oops, it didn't get better, well let's hire some quality control coach from the Cleveland Browns.
Yes, that's the ticket. Let's pass over Bill Cowher, Mike Shanahan, Mike Holmgren, John Gruden, even John Fox or Jeff Fisher in favor of a quality control coach from the Cleveland Browns...
Here's a thought about the late Mr. Halas; who only brought in Ditka after future ticket sales declined!
Please remember that Ted Phillips got the city to rebuild Soldiers Field and that Mr. Angelo is personal friend of Coach Saban who ... oh yeah, sorry, I forgot!
Shit Ghost, at least the Browns looked decent this week and they got the fucking "W". Jesus, how sad is that?
Nothing sad about it. They deserved that win. Three down linemen rushing Rothlisberger and they got to him 8 times. Awesome. Those three guys and Joshua Cribbs beat the Steelers. I want their DC ....
I meant sad for us that we can
I hear you MB. The Browns look like a 3-man monsters of the midway, and the Packers get a new OL, Can't wait to see what we're getting for christmas ....
Pretty sad footage, but what else is new. Everybody that watches the Bears in earnest knows he can't or won't block,or make the tough catch,or bust any tackles. Just like Benson,he is playing because of draft status.
This team is lacking big time in professional football players, guys that do it all,all the time.
I aint gonna scream about Lovie or anyone else on the coaching staff. The games have spoken for themselves. This in anyones eyes is flat out shit. The McCaskey clan has seen exactly what we have seen. The clock is now ticking............
Hey all you Bear malcontents, why not become a Packer fan until your owners actually beat the odds and put together a decent team? Look at all the upsides, you all hate the Bears Owners and the teams they field, you spend all your free time in Wisconsin anyway, and you'd be supporting a team on the rise. Quit all your endless whining and enjoy a Monday morning for a change.
of course, you're waking up in Wisconsin on that monday morning, so...
Shoo, troll.
*AfroCelt lives in Appleton and thinks Packer fair weather fans are too funny. You all were discussing firing McCarthy openly 5 weeks ago.
You make several valid points phrozentundra.
But at least you'd wake up feeling complete. Your visa papers indicate you live in the superior state anyways. So who's the troll? And to have McTwitty replaced is on most Packer fans Christmas list even though the team is performing in spite of him. The turn around occurred after the closed door, players only meeting after the Tampa game. If you read the local paper instead of sleeping on it you'd recall several players bitched publicly about the play calling and schemes.
remind us why you're here?
I want to remind everyone what our Quarterback used to look like.
This is the preseason game versus the Giants...the best game of Cutler's career as a Bear. Too bad it meant jack shit.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PgE_gY-w1dM
I'm glad that I feel we've all gotten past the point where we have to sit here and delineate all the myriad reasons why Lovie deserves immediate firing. And thanks to David Haugh for doing the right thing this morning. I do believe that when something becomes obvious not just to us, but to the entire world, Virginia will listen and react.
Devin Aromashodu is just the latest and best example of how terrible this coaching staff is. (and btw his name is NOT that hard to pronounce no matter how difficult it was to the awful announcers).
I do believe we have a shot, boys and girls, a REAL SHOT to have an ENTIRELY BRAND NEW COACHING STAFF next year. And it's no small thing that no less of a legend than Bill Cowher says HE WANTS TO COME HERE!!! I don't think they can ignore that.
Ready to say goodbye to Jerry Angelo too. And that's a change for me.
A quick thought to next year's (meager) draft - I'm not sure how great of an offensive lineman we can get with the 3rd round pick. So how about taking the first or second best fullback in the draft? That's a position that is not particularly valued in the draft and God knows how bad we need a great one.
Phil, you and Al are my two favorite opiners. You prove your brilliance yet again.
That is exactly what I think. Ownership CAN'T simply ignore the fact that the Bears have been on a continual downward spiral since February 2007. They simply CAN'T ignore the fact that one of the greatest coach of the 1990s-2000s decades is available and ACTUALLY WANTS TO COME HERE!
But, as stated in my earlier post, I have a feeling that Bears management will let the fans down yet again...as they have been doing since George Halas died. They will probably keep Lovie Smith on for another season and when the Bears miss the playoffs for the FOURTH time since losing the Super Bowl they will make the change. Only once Bill Cowher and Mike Shanahan are off the market and we have to settle for the quality control coach of the Cleveland Browns will they decide that change in necessary.
Guys this was really the best thing that could have happened. Three things stand out to me, as many have pointed out:
1) The timeout challenge disaster
2) Aromashodu (who Cutler recommended as a starter weeks ago, yet was ignored because the staff still thinks Hester is a #1!!!!!)
3) Penalties and lack of preparation at the begninning of games
For these reasons, I think the Bears brass has no choice but to fire Lovie & co. We should really be thanking them for that game...Prior to that, I think they may have still held on to thier jobs...but they just sealed thier own fate with that game. This is a positive thing...
I went to Nawlins this weekend to see some good music and eat some soul food so I missed most of the game. I found one of the only bars in the french quarter that had the NFL ticket w/ 5 minutes left in the game and was able to watch the end.
Looks like DA took advantage of his playing time. Why is it that a bunch of Bears fans on a blog can identify that a big and more physical receiver that our QB likes should have been playing all along, but the head coach cannot?
I missed Lovie's brain queef with the challenge and timeouts, but it sounds like it epitomizes his inability to think outside the box and on the run.
I heard there was a lot of empty seats but they didn't show the crowd the last 5 mins. Was that true? Maybe that will resonate with the McCaskeys.
I saw Cutler arguing with Pep Hamilton, calling off Wrong's plays at the line, and coaching on the field. It looks like he has given up on this staff. I don't blame him, and I sort of like it. It shows the kid doesn't accept mediocrity and wants to win bad. For a minute, I thought too maybe he is sort of sabotaging this thing. I don't blame him for that either. You can tell by his mechanics (now constantly throwing off his back foot/being unsure in the pocket) that he has lost his swag. If the coaches can't help him get it back, then he needs to do it on his own. I'm not absolving him; he has thrown way too many picks period.
I was impressed with the Saints nation down there in NOLA. I'm not a bandwaggoner, but they were representing strong. Everyone had gear on, signs everywhere, all you hear is "Who Dat?" It got annoying after a while, but I respected them. Plus, they haven't been good for decades and never been to a SB. I'll root for them over the fudge pack any day.
Man, you people from Wisconsin are pathetic. No one from Chicago or anyone else for that matter goes to Wisconsin if they don't have to. Ho downs, hooking up with 3rd cousins, and banging farm animals is not my idea of a good time. Madison is the only place that is decent because of the Badger tale. I will never go to Green Bay in my lifetime.
Gilbert didn't play???????????
I hope we lose to Detroit. That's the only way the pressure level rises high enough to force the McCaskeys to take action.
The Ravens game is going to be brutal. I see us getting punched in the mouth. Hopefully, Cutler doesn't get injured.
Sad state of affairs.
Why root for a cock-tease team that might be good enough to get in but will get bounced in the first round? That doesn't seem fun.
Geez, what was I thinking? Watching the Bears must be a lot better. You probably need to take the next step and become a Lions fan. You'd forget that you even had a cock.
Ghost.CTA. and Phil... I am with you on all, and beleive we need to change.
My biggest concern is that the McC's are not willing to let their team go..It really comes down to a pissing contest or who has long dong.
I think they are so afraid of a GM and/or a Coach having to much power..from the fans, the city etc.. the last time we had powerhouse coaches where when? yeah I do not have to remind you of that.
I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE EITHER "Da Chin" or "Shanny" but is it realistic to think this Bear Management are willing to let go? You have to admit it from VM down it is one big gangbang train.
I threaded this sometime ago..just look at our gladiators and you can see the complacency in all their eys, stance etc.....and it all starts from the top and the turds roll from there.
Ha! "Da Chin" has a very nice ring to it!
Ghost. I cannot take the credit for "Da Chin" someone else said it on this blog sometime ago. And yes....It does have a great ring to it. not sure if the bell tolls for us though.
Sportsfansnetwork - "Bring in the chin !"
One great thing about Bear Fans who live in other cities and countries: We always get to vote a straight Democratic ticket several times in each election no matter how we vote at home!
Same is probably true for "Da Chin" and "Shanny" so neither actually has to actually live/work/toil/suffer in Chicago either!
Be sure to send your letters to Santa & leave him cookies and milk - I'll be too busy watching real teams in the playoffs!
Why would lovie call a fake fg against the rams to put the game out of reach and not go for it on 4th down with 5 mins to go against the pack to save the season against the pack? This team has no leadership. Lovie should play to win instead of playing it safe. Football in the NFL is won by making the tough decions on the sidelines and by trusting your players to execute. Coaching shouldn't lose games. I think lovie doesn't believe in his team. If he did he would stop calling games like a puss.
Loviehas lost my support And it's time to move on.
Guys, I was thinking about it today, and I realized that I think we actually have given (and continue to give) Lovie way too much credit for 2004 - 2006. As the story goes, Lovie took over the team in 2004, turned it all around in 2005, and took us to the Superbowl in 2006.
Considering the evidence, I would like to present a theory. Defensive coordinator Ron Rivera was hired in 2004. By 2005 he built the #1 ranked defense in the league, and once again a top 5 defense that forced huge numbers of turnovers by 2006 and took the team to the Superbowl. In 2005 and 2006, Ron Turner was the offensive coordinator, and while the team was ranked #1 in scoring in 2006, I would argue that the biggest reason for this is Exhibit A, the amazing turnover-creating defense of 2006.
In 2007, for some reason unknown to any Chicago Bears fan, Ron Rivera was fired. After leading essentially the best defense in football for 2 years running, that had just taken the team to a Superbowl. Since the point which he was fired, the defense has finished no higher than 21st, and has been at most, underwhelming.
So now tell me, who really took the Chicago Bears to the Superbowl?
Agree completely! Same is true for the quarterback fiasco - watching Bears panic after McMahon went down and going all the way back to getting rid of George Blanda!
My boy Roy breaking down the joke that is Greg Olsen. Film room of Olsen vs the Rams. Our first round bust in slow motion, viewer discretion is advised .....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PtRa0OFCTwY
So what's the excuses for these picks? Everybody always as excuses as to why they weren't Cutler's fault...
Its official, you are a bust, Cutler! Go home and tale Lovie & Turner with you...
Plenty time to turn this around. BEAR PRIDE!!
Interception number 3 is being cooked and ready to be served
This is going to be the drive that kills the Bears.
just like Da Bears to give all hope up & let us down again. the reasons to fire Lovie are overwhelming
Game over. Sucks!
Why didnt the Bears go for it on 4th down last series.
Our voodoo FG thing still works at least
3 penalties that have cost 30 yards today...from Chris Williams
challenge it Lovie...why call a timeout?
Lovie Smith is an idiot. If you were going to challenge, don't call a time out before you're going to challenge. If you needed a time out, challenge--it's not like you'd miss it with this little time left in the game.
Lovie really must go. I think he knows it, too.
Dummy Smith..that's our coach fellas
Did the ball hit a Packer? You should challenge, Lovie! Oh wait... you only have one timeout left to burn...
Lovie has to be the most inept coach in NFL history when it comes to managing a game, timeouts and the challenge flag. What a fucking loser!
Interception time!
Let's see Ron Turner do his magic! Waah.
Look at it this way; Perhaps there is a good reason his brother in San Diego does not offer him a job.
time to see if Cutler can run the 2 min Offense
Cutler's version: No interceptions.
I think he can. Just surround him with a capable football team...
And that my friends will do it for YOUR CHICAGO BEARS. Thank God for Fantasy Football.
13 penalties on the Bears says it all. On the bright side, at least the Bears didn't get blown out. In the end, this franchise needs to clean house. Bye Bye Lovie, you clueless, inept, poor excuse for a head coach!!!
Great play calling there on that last drive, Ron. Oh, and O-line, can you give the guy a few seconds to set up and throw? A safety blitz isn't any great mystery.
Lovie - just go. Please. That timeout before the challenge was just the latest in a long line of inept decisions. You are not the only thing wrong with this football team, but you're certainly the worst.
Almost a Cutlerception.....we are sure to go 5-10 heading to Ford Field
was that false start on the center??
F#@& Lovie Smith, Ron Turner, J. Angelo and Jay Interception Cutler!!!!!
Maybe in the 2010 Draft we'll....hum...Oh...right...I prefered a bust QB...nice!
In 2015 the Bears will be a truly football team!!! (maybe...maybe...)
Don`t give up on Jay yet... Aroma looked good today, we need some competant lineman before this offense becomes anything close to functional. Lovie and Ron Turner have to go though...
Today's theme song: "goodbye my Lovie" by James Blunt.
This has to be the last straw. A very win-able game very much lost by coaching, mismanagement, undisciplined stupid plays... again.
Please Bill Cower, please. Please. Please.
Look at all these LBs for your 4-3 madcap schemes! Tillman and Bowman can play! Come on Bill, bring your mustache to Chi.
OK now we need to play only to see what we have for next year. Sit Pace, Kreutz, McKie, Forte, Hester, Tillman, Briggs and maybe only let Cutler play the 1st half of the next 2 games or something (let him develop the young guys some). One of 3 things will come of it. We will either see that we have some people that can play and maybe don't have quite as many needs as we thought, someone can be built up as trade bait or allow us to more safely trade a veteran or we can drop them and not waste any more time or roster spots on dead weight. Coaches can you handle this? Then we can at least evaluate the players properly even if you can't.
The rule is crystal clear. A receiver making a catch while going to the ground MUST MAITAIN POSESSION after he hits the ground.
What part of "must maintain possession" don't YOU understand, Lovie?
Love Smith: Dumber than a box of rocks.
In the forthcoming remake of DUMB AND DUMBER,
Lovie will play BOTH leads.
Cower will reign in Cutler just like he did big Ben. Fix the oline probs and running game. He could make a team with the tools we have, I believe.
I wanted to come here to see how my fellow bears fans felt about the game. Yes, the time out/challenge call was all most as stupid as Joe Gibbs! But this game was lost due to an int and penalties. The defense held a top five offense in check. I would love to see Devin times two as our starting wideouts with Knox in the slot. Lets be honest a win would have been nice but our season was over after the lost to the 49ERS.
o-line, o-line, o-line. The first 3 picks in the draft had better be offensive lineman.
What a huge disappointing season. Fire
It will be interesting to see who starts next week. If Lovie says anything about our playoff hopes being alive, he should be fired on the spot. Cutler's 2 picks and a totally undisciplined team were the nails in the coffin. Not to mention ST's once again weren't special. What the hell is Rashied doing returning kicks? Did I miss something? Jamar has the game of his life and the best defensive game by any Bear in 3 years and he's on the bench! WTF!?
Cutler will get better and i saw some really promising things from DA.
DA, Knox, Bennett, Hester and an offseason pickup would be a great WR lineup. Knox has a lot to learn but he will get there.
Giving up that 62yd run because Hunter and Bullocks suck was a real ball breaker.
Give Jamar a fucking chance. HH has to fucking go.
Not a bad effort for the last 3 quarters. The Nick Collins pick was brutal but our offense will improve and even though this year is done we will improve for next year.
the fucking penalties were brutal and Williams/Omiyale really did a good job of hammering the nails in the coffin today.
Omiyale didn't start in Carolina for a reason, but with another yr it could be like the Packers. But, I agree with everyone, the o line needs a leader. I'm about to sell my tix to the game in Baltimore instead of the jokes after the game.
Look at our future left guard! Whoohoo! Oh and our awesome head coach. Blah!
Lovie Smith challenge Master!
The epitome of stupidity!
DA ? What about Brandon Rideau ? He's taller still ...
this should be our starting offense. Aromashudo, Bennett, and Knox. C.williamsr at LT and Sheffer at RT. this better be our starting lineup next week.
omg i bet fucking Lovie will bench aromashudo and sheffer next week, then he will put Williams at RT and Pace at LT.
You guys need to wait until the games over before you start with the rubber necking. Lets wait till after we beat these cheeseheads back to Green Bay like the punks that they are.
who is this team and what have they done w/ my chicago bears? BEAR DOWN!!!!
Gaines Adams sighting
I missed it what happened. How are we winning?
Yes nice stop D. Cutler we need a nice long drive and some points at the end of it. Come on. Crush the Packers dreams of the playoffs!!
Cutler is looking good, Z. Other than a bad miscommunication INT, he's been the QB we want him to be.
Im really getting sick of listening to Billick
funny, even the team playing well means Lovie should be fired.
Good One!
Woodson bareley touches Forte with an arm ... and Forte falls down. To be a running back in the NFL, you have to break tackles, and not fall down when someone touches you!
WHERE THE FUCK HAS AROMASHADOUCHE BEEN ALL YEAR? I HATE THIS FUCKING COACHING STAFF WITH A PASSION
omiyale? why is he starting again? also, why the fuck havent we been playing Aromashudo more? he is beating woodson on every play. clearly he is our best WR
Cutler shouldnt be throwing those balls. Our receivers are not good to go up for those kind of shots.
he could of gotten if woodson didnt dive into his lower back?
The officials absolutely hate Jay.
And Billick, screw you too, buddy.
"incidental contact", my ass. That long-haired hippie-boy ran through the receiver before the ball got there. Please Brian, explain to me what's incidental about that?
it was a bad call.
We do not even get respect from the officials.Hoep the fans that drank the kool aid will get a better look at reality today.
I meant Hope
What a great defensive stand. I knew our defense would come to play. The Packers were finally forced to punt.
why isn't aromashadu getting more snaps? every time i've seen him, he's done really well.
this team sucks... plain and simple.
touchdown to Olson, I can smell it coming.
and my nose never lies
Jesus Christ ... what is this ... the fourth illegal start on this offense?
Pathetic. Not even close to being entertaining. This team is horrible.
The Bears have amassed a total of 23-yards on offense through nearly 1.5 quarters. Pathetic!
Wow. Really? What a joke. Nice run Rogers.
The Packers have no respect for the Bears defense. Going for it on Fourth down and three, and htey make it with no problem. I'm glad Lovie is overseeing the defense this season.
How come they didnt get called on holding?
100 rushing yards in the first quarter.. C'mon D
This is getting ugly...
Nice throw off your backfoot Cutler ... I'm having flashbacks to the days of Grossman. I am pulling for the Bears to beat the hated Packers, but this team is awful on both sides of the ball!
The Bears don't look like they're prepared for this game at all.
Ghost. I beleive you were correct the first time..
24-0 Halftime
Anybody got a link?
Get Lovie's stupid, clueless looking face off my T.V. screen!!
Nice hit by Knox - I guess that's the highlight of the half for me.
Just remember Nicole that wherever you are in this world (or the next) you are still voting a straight Democratic ticket several times in each election back here in Illinois!
