  • please, please, please give us utter embarrassment tonight. if the vikes can right the ship against the bears in primetime, lovie actually might look worse than he does already. rooting for farve makes me nauseous, but ultimately i think it's for a good cause.

  • In reply to Sausage:

The cause that will send you straight to hell. Can we have a separate Blog for fans who actually support the Bears please ...? BEAR DOWN !!!

  • In reply to Sausage:

shut up you dildo... my god, stop fucking whining you pussy.

  • In reply to Sausage:

can some one teach peanut how to tackle... take away his legs...GEEZUS

  • In reply to Sausage:

who is this team and wtf have they done w/ my 2009 Chicago Bears? they're playing like an actual NFL-caliber team....the hell is this shit?

  • In reply to Sausage:

GRUDEN is getting onmy damn nerves...

  • In reply to Sausage:

Turner finally calling good plays because his ass is on the line. Pathetic. What was he thinking all year ? What was going on in his tiny mind ? Is it just the blocking ? Who DAT !? WHO DEM BEARS !?

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

Is it personal or just bad schemes?

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

Da Bears better start getting pressure on Favre like they did in the first half, or else the Vi-Queens are going to get right back in this game!

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

    damn it

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

Another "looks so easy" TD...Our secundary sux big time!!!

  • In reply to Scala:

We still sux + no Knox + no Tillman = queens game ...

  • In reply to Scala:

The Bears lost their best Offensive and Defensive player in the last few minutes, that sucks. They were both carted off too lol

  • In reply to EVILteddie:

Are you fucking serious dude? You lol that? You're a fucking moron. I hope you crash your car and end up in the hospital tomorrow on the way to work you fucking turd.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

He doesn't have a job. And we don't need any snow shovelers at Lambeau anymore this year.

  • In reply to EVILteddie:

Go hump a tree you troll.

  • In reply to EVILteddie:

3 points counts as a stop......now let's match the FG. Yeah I'd like a TD but I'll take 10 minutes off the clock.

  • In reply to EVILteddie:

lol ? wtf, I am not a bear fan but I don't want to see anyone going out on the cart, grow up.

  • In reply to EVILteddie:

Oh Jebus ... here we go ...

  • In reply to EVILteddie:

Hard for me to cheer for the Bears but I hate that hillbilly #4

  • In reply to MikeMcCarthy:

You peckerheads deserve Favre. Too Bad he toasted your pathetic team twice this year.

  • In reply to MikeMcCarthy:

Did you hear that stat? We haven't scored a single point in the 4th in 6, SIX games. Oh shit.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    That's funny too

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Goddamn it ... another 3rd down conversion for the Vi-Queens. How in the hell was Chester so wide open?

  • In reply to MB30SD:

dude, what is up with all the damn trolls all of a sudden?

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Gee, the vikings not only are going to lose to the bears but its quite possible they will limp to the playoffs with 3 losses in a row.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Lovie gives up the "short one" to prevent the first down and gets the familiar result.

THAT's the fucking problem you fucking dildo sucking asshole idiot. The softer they play the worse it will get,

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Favre is tearing the Bears apart ... not good!

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    Well that didn't take long.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    FUCK.... momentum shift....

  • In reply to MB30SD:

O.K. Cutler ... tie game. Let's see if you can man up and lead the Bears down the field and win this damn game!

  • In reply to MB30SD:

This game sucks. The only possible saving grace would be an injury to Favre.

By the way, MNF is much better with the sound turned off.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Cutler, if you are a man, its time to step up into the role of team leader that your are when we signed you. Your time is now. The O-line is blocking for you and you are out of excused. Be a man my son, be a man.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Nobody is trolling, the Bears are a fucking laughingstock this season. It's pretty hard to root for a team that fucking sucks. Except for Manning, but he fucking trips anyways, just for good measure.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    D. Manning is the man!! Nice return ... if only he would have kept his balance it would have been a TD.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    Boo Yah!

Fuck you Jaws you douche. Fuck you Gruden you tool. And terico, you're just a fat dump. Never even been near a football field.

    Good first call Turner.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

and all of a sudden the three stooges are quiet. Morons

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    Damn right!!!!!!!! YESSSS!!!!!!!!! TD BEARS!!!!

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Cutler makes a great throw, but the Bears are still going to blow this game, because they are fucking terrible.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    Wow Manning. Fucking wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Wow Cutler/Bennett....did Turner call that????

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Did you see Forte get flattened by Jared Allen on the TD? At least Forte slowed him up enough to give Cutler enough time to make the throw.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Fuck yeah !!!! Da Bearssss ....& VANDY !!

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Ok, why is AP all alone in the middle of the field with nobody on him?

  • In reply to MB30SD:

o.k. we gotta stop this over the middle dump...

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    Damn, almost had one.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Bowman .... catch the damn ball!! This game would have been over with a pick.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

my dog... please fire Jaws, Gruden, and Terico. please.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Nice hands Bowman, that was the game.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

we had a fucking sack and he slipped on the goddamn fucking turf...are you fucking kidding me...and fucking Bowman drops the game winner? fuck

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Bowman will be having nightmares about that dropped pick....

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    ANYTHING....ANYTHING for a stop.

However Loviefucker has them playing soft again. Fav-ray say thanks Lovie (smooch) I'll take it.

    We are FUCKED

  • In reply to MB30SD:

I gotta tell you, the Bears have played well, lets just hope they can make a win.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Come on Bears ... get some pressure on Favre!

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    FUUUUUCK! FUck Fuck Fuck!

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Get Lovie the clueless idiot off my T.V. screen before you jinx my Bears!

  • In reply to MB30SD:

the boys played hard no matter what happens but lets win this

  • In reply to MB30SD:

We do not have the skill to play cover 2. Please, Please Please shitcan the cover 2.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    HO-LY-SHEITE MUSLIM!

  • In reply to MB30SD:

4th and goal ... come on Bears!!!

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    common baby. one fucking play.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    here we go

  • In reply to MB30SD:

I love it, this is how the game is played.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    one play.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

too much time between plays... does not favor the D

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Lovie .... you SUCK!!!!

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Bears choke, as we all knew they would

  • In reply to MB30SD:

FUCK ME.... this is un believable...

  • In reply to MB30SD:

their guys catch balls. ours don't.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    sidney rice vs corey graham

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Told you the Bears are going to lose, terrible.

  • In reply to EVILteddie:

    go away nerd

  • In reply to EVILteddie:

WHY DO THEY TAKE A KNEE> FLING IT DUMB SHIT. Penalty maybe? Completion OB maybe.

    We are FUCKED.

  • In reply to EVILteddie:

I predict....... Cutler throws a game winning touchdown, to a Vikings defender.

  • In reply to EVILteddie:

Why in the hell are the Bears laughing and joking with Favre during the overtime coin toss? Halas must be rolling over in his grave!

  • In reply to MB30SD:

graham didnt have a chance.... How about hit that fucker off the line.... DAMNIT

  • In reply to MB30SD:

And the imbecilic Bears staff let the clock run down instead of calling their time outs when the queens had the ball. What morons.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Graham has no chance whatsoever of covering a tall receiver.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Don't complain, the Bears have balled the whole game, they have a chance to win it in o.t., penalties have not been a factor, special teams have kicked ass, offense has put up the points, only 1 turnover.

All in all this is what I expect from the Bears. Nothing more, nothing less.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    Surprise ... surprise ... surprise ....

  • In reply to MB30SD:

The 'hill-billy' strikes again (btw he is from the swamp-land of Mississippi).

  • In reply to MB30SD:

why... why do I get pulled in every single fucking time? Why?

Well, at least we win either way. If we win the game great, if we lose Lovie is gone and we get a real coach in here next year. Win win.

I just can't stand these pathetic commentators. MUTE!

  • In reply to MB30SD:

I was writing the same thing, then figured someone else was so I hit delete. But you're totally right.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

I'm surprised LDL didn't have them go on defense in OT. DUH!

    Oh shit can I challange that? O.K. can I get a timeout?.DUH

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Hate to tell you this but Lovie isnt going anywhere.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    Holy aromashbadabadoooo!

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Lovie...where has Arrow been all year..Oh yeah on the practice squad DUH!!!

  • In reply to MB30SD:

The best player on the Bears gets a chance to win this for us... go Robbie!!!

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    Shabba -DABBA - DOOOOOOO !!!

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Robbie is not Golden after all

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Has Turner got the balls to pass it here ?

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    OH SHIT!!!!

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Hahahahaha... I can do nothing but laugh gents. How fucking typical is this? seriously how typical?

  • In reply to MB30SD:

OMG ... I can't believe Gould missed the FG! Nothing is going the Bears' way this season.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    Let's go Robbie ...

  • In reply to MB30SD:

it felt like a win, it's now a surefire loss, and it probably helps the Lovie-gets-fired cause. Silver lining anyone?

  • In reply to MB30SD:

WHERE HAS THIS DEFENSE BEEN ALL YEAR!!!

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Well, I will give the defense credit there, that was fucking awesome.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Shazbat ! Prediction : Favre to Harvin when they get the ball back. Bears lose. Nothing's changed. Bugger.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    dude, this is rediculous. Seriously.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

RT You dipshit I hope that coachroaches infest in you crouch and eat you alive.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    FUMBLE HH you shit!!

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    HO-LY-FUCKING-SHEITE!

  • In reply to MB30SD:

That is why Adrian Peterson is NOT the best RB in football.

  • In reply to EVILteddie:

hang in their guys. Bear the Hell down.

  • In reply to EVILteddie:

05:00 AM here to see this????!!! Oh yeah!!!! Fuck the queens!!!

  • In reply to EVILteddie:

    yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeessssssssssssssssssssss

  • In reply to EVILteddie:

Hah AP !! What you do best my BiQueen friend .... droppin' the rock ...

  • In reply to EVILteddie:

BEARS Win! but will they loose next week in De-troilet??

  • In reply to windypack:

I hope so Windy... we pissed a little on Farve's party tonight and we'll lose next week to seal Lovie's fate.

Bring in Cowher and a new era in Chicago baby. It's our time to start a dynasty with Cowher at the helm.

  • In reply to windypack:

    TROLLS EAT SHIT!!!!

The only concern I have is will LDL take credit for this?

If I am right didn't JC say that Arrow was the real deal? Well this just shows that LDL is shit for a coach and shit for understanding talent.

This I am afraid may keep his Job and we will have to put up with LDL for another year..DAMN

  • In reply to windypack:

Lovie had nothing to do with todays win. The O-line showed up with some Jolly Green Giant sized balls tonight, way to go Bears, way to go.

  • In reply to windypack:

    Holy Fuck

And yes our "coaching staff" wasted a year with Bennett on the practice squad....and nearly a year with DA - our only WR taller than a smurf. The guy can flat out fly too - surprising speed. Arkish said before the season DA was by far the best WR prospect the Bears had.

  • In reply to TomBecker:

yea i didnt know he was that fuckin fast

  • In reply to TomBecker:

Whichever troll said Childers is a good coach is NOT an intelligent guy. BC is the one that manufactured that beautiful first half. Well done asshat. Farve probably bitch slapped him during half time and told him, 'i'm running the show in the second you little bitch'. Farve is a better head coach than

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    I LOVE IT!!!!
I have the week off but am stopping by work tomorrow in my 4-TD CUTLER jersey for my Vikings buddies. I'm sure they'll enjoy the copies of this that I'm printing and bring with.
    http://www.babble.com/CS/blogs/strollerderby/2008/05/08-15/heim.gif

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Bear nation should be happy tonight. This is why I am a Bears fan. Tonight our team threw us a bone and I'm gonna chew on it for a couple of days. I'm proud of how our guys played tonight. Talk to you all next week. You guys have really helped me get through this season.

  • In reply to windypack:

    Your Welcome Philly!

  • In reply to windypack:

V..I agree but I can tell you the bears management are going to spin this to us fans to eat this shit and tell us how good it tastes, and how the real JC and LOVIE can walk on water.

I love that we won but here is the real deal.... What did this really cost us? probably the LOVEFEST begins

  • In reply to windypack:

    Jay played with courage
    DA played with confidence
    Bennett was solid
    D line was relentless
    O line protected well
First half defensive ass kicking was awesome and the rest was pure football entertainment
HH made that huge play but i'm still a little wary of his game to game performances.
overall i was proud of the way the guys played, even Steltzy stepped up a little.
    go bears!

  • In reply to windypack:

The difference in this game (especially the first half) was all at the line of scrimmage. The offensive line gave Cutler time to throw and it made all the difference in the world. There were a few throws where he had his head up his ass. The running game got going in the first half as well. The defensive line put some pressure on Favre and it was a much different game than the first one this year.

Special teams were impressive as well. I never thought I would say it but I am glad that Devin Hester got hurt. Aromashadu would not have gotten the chance had Hester been available.

  • In reply to windypack:

chris williams played pretty fucking well too so i'm happy for his development

  • In reply to windypack:

I don't mind having Lovie back if he can consistently get the defense to play the way they did in the first half and in OT. But I don't think he can. Turner had some great play calls this game too.

I still want to see them both gone.

  • In reply to EVILteddie:

Dude, which team are you a fan of for christ sake?

  • In reply to EVILteddie:

Jeff - you are officially not allowed to miss another Chicago Bears home game. Ever.

Team mascot - Jeff Hughes - round of applause, people!!!!

    BEAR THE F DOWN!

  • In reply to windypack:

NY..you mean RT and LDL great experiment at WR...Shit again this just exposes our understanding of talent is poor. And how LDL will take credit for this and why he is such a great coach. SHIT! Childress's Post games are as exciting as LIMP DICK LOVIES(LDL) I think I am going into coma.

  • In reply to windypack:

    Who cares ?

  • In reply to windypack:

Had to see it to believe it but wthose of us die-hards who continued to sit thru unwatchable game after unwatchable game are, at last, rewarded with a late Christmas gift.

Too bad it sets up a 7-9 record and a reprieve for Lovie.

  • In reply to Albertintucson:

    Not likely.

It may be a reprieve for Lovie down the road, but not here.

  • In reply to Albertintucson:

Lovie must go. (Schooling Brad Childress should not stave off anyone's impending termination.)

    1/4/10

  • In reply to Albertintucson:

I told you guys that the Bears did not "have to" lose this game. Lovie should be gone at the end of this season. I truely believe this is going to happen.

Knox tore something in his ankle or at the very least a high ankle sprain. He'll have the off season to heal and I thinkg should be fine by next year. Tillman is another story. He's not a spring chicken anymore and I'm afraid his ribs were broken which can lead to a punctured lung or laserated kidney as well. They brought oxygen out to him right away which doesn't happen often so I'm thinking he punctured a lung. I love peanut as a cb but the reality is he's not as good as he used to be. I think last night proved we have young guys that want to show what they can do and do the job with good training.

We need new coaches, plan and simple. Great showing last night from a broken and battered Bears team that played their hearts out and showed they still have the heart and balls to win.

    I'll take it!

    Bear Down!!!

  • In reply to Reichwolff:

I hope Knox only has a sprain. Off season he needs to work on his speed, no need to bulk up and slow down.

I truly hope Tillman's lungs are ok. Cracked ribs are bad enough. That guy has been through hell and back with his baby daughter and doesn't deserve any more pain. Having said that, this may have been his last game - I don't see him coming back.

Wholesale secondary changes are upon us. Steltz may not be the bust we thought he was. Josh Bullocks mentally checked out in the 4th Q. He seemed to completely lose track of where he was needed.

I see, however, him staying around next year. I don't know about Payne, he's a mystery. Not really a big hitter, and not a great cover guy over the top. Alfalfa will probably stay. Vasher is gone. DJ Moore is probably gone. Graham may be gone, it's obvious he can't defend the tall WRs or any TE.

Manning will stay, just for his wheels. Bowman is a lock, he's the best CB we have.

In the LB, Williams and Roach stay, Hunter goes. Urlacher gets a big rewrite to his contract. Briggs stays. Pisa's career may be over, which is a real shame.

On the DL, Anderson stays based on last night. Adams stays, Harrison stays, Tommie probably stays, Alex Brown stays, Isreal stays. Gaines gets cut at camp next year after failing to bulk up. Gilbert stays.

Without draft picks, I just don't see how this isn't a 8-8 team next year. A new coach and some key free agents at OG and DE (Adams is a bust) are needed, and a LB to replace Pisa.

  • In reply to gpldan:

Don't forget Izzy !! We definitely need to trade people. If they insist on refusing to put HEster back returning, then trade his ass. Same for Olsen. I wasn't sure about Tommie. He may yet still get back close to 100%. Give him a stay. Don't want him ending up in GB or Minny.

  • In reply to Albertintucson:

lovie's defense gave up 30 in the second half. how good does the win look now? he should still be gone.

  • In reply to Sausage:

First defense to shut them out in the first half this season. Not bad for a team rated #26 against the run playing the 'greatest RB in football'. Not bad at all. Jebus, what does it take to enjoy an amazing win like that. Think about how Colts fans feel this morning, unbeaten last week, they feel like crap today. Our chests are stuck out.

  • In reply to Albertintucson:

MNVIKINGGUY...Dude, I saw JAllen after game at his locker talking smack about how mad he was that Viks just got slapped upside the head by Bears. OMG.. Allen has a pure trailer trash haircut. What a dickbag. What a freak. He's got weird slit cuts upfront on his dome and then has a ducks ass down the back. Jared...wake up. The 80's are over!

  • In reply to tkfay:

It gets worse Jersey... it's on purpose. Check this out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L2r49EMRvkw

  • In reply to tkfay:

MB30SD. Nice hook on Jared's soon to be bald ass head. He must have a trailer someplace in Minny.

  • In reply to Albertintucson:

    Celery,
I don't think you can knock last nights win any way or any how. This morning was great hearing all the talking heads on Sirius drag the Queens through the mud. I have a bounce in my step for the first time all season. This was the only quality win of the Bears have had all season.

The fact that the Bears probably cost the Queens the 2nd seed almost seems worth the blown season.

    DA BEARS.

  • In reply to ImissButkus:

    Word, Mike V.

  • In reply to windypack:

Right on, NY, I heard Da Coach predict a Bear victory on the Westwood One radio pregame while I was picking up the pizzas.

  • In reply to windypack:

And from our "where are they now" file...

Heeeerre little Viking Trolls. Heeeerre little Viking Trolls.
Come out come out wherever you are. Come on now, little MNVIKINGGUY, bring your sorry ass out of your little ice-fishing hut and take the verbal beating you so richly deserve.

  • In reply to Albertintucson:

They are busy playing "American Pie" with their lutefisk trays.

  • In reply to Albertintucson:

Major Kudos, Jeff, on an abso-freakin-lutely CLAIRVOYANT choice of picture for this thread!

Speaking of Narcisissus, is it just ME or does anyone else think he looked glassy-eyed and like a guy trying to clear the cobwebs after his head BOUINCED off the frozen turf of Soldier Field late in the game OR that he seemed a be a bit foggy and confused during his post-game presser?

Can you say "Concussion" boys and girls?

  • In reply to Albertintucson:

That got an "oooowwwwww." reaction out of me. And I hate the guy.

  • In reply to Albertintucson:

yes, a perfect photo really, Jeff. Prophetic or what ?

  • In reply to Albertintucson:

Let's go for a little sTROLL shall we ? Yes methinks ...

  • In reply to windypack:

This is NOT a keep-Lovie post ... just sayin' .....

Brilliant. The Bears we expected at the start of the season. I had three games marked down as gut wins this year. Green Bay in week one, Pittsburgh in week two, and the Vikes at home. What was wrong with the performance tonight ? Apart from kicking a FG on second down and not bothering to take a couple of play action shots at the endzone, Lovie didn't blow it. Jay was great. Delighted for him, all the abuse he took - physically and from the media and fans - that'll do wonders for his confidence going into next week. He can potentially end up even or better on TD/INT differential. The game puts a whole new perspective on the season and throws up a few what-ifs in actually making a case for Lovie's stay of execution (!) ....

What if Devin Hester stayed on returns ?

What if Aromashodou had Hester's place from the start of the season ?

What if we had that offensive line from the start of the season (Shaffer at RT, Williams at LT etc.) ?

What if Dez Clarke was still #1 TE (from a blocking perspective) and didn't get injured ?

What if Brandon Rideau was on the other side, with Knox/Bennett alternated in the slot ?

What if we had been spelling Forte with someone who wasn't a midget ?

What if Turner had been calling plays like tonight ?

What if Turner had gone downtown more this season instead of bubble screens and garret Wolfe up the middle ?

What if Urlacher and Pisa hadn't gone down week one ?

What if Dusty Dvoracek didn't disappear before the season started ?

Instead of a long rebuilding process, now it would appear that if we can stay healthy, all is not lost ....

    1. Get a monster big receiver in FA (or get Brandon Rideau out of McDonalds) ....

    2. Get an above average Guard.

    3. Send Greg Olsen to blocking school and don't let him near the practice field until he learns how to hit someone and stop being a big girl.

    4. Pick up some help for the secondary.

    5. Lock Hunter Hillenmeyer in the weight room.

    6. Place a few brown paper bags containg fecal matter on Jerry Angelo's doorstep and set them on fire.

    Number six is optional.

What a difference a day makes, eh ? I'm on a natural football high after that game. Clearly Shabba-dabba-doo is our number one receiver. People will say "Yeah but Hester is a WR because Lovie ....." etc. but the fact remains that we live and learn. It just takes Lovie a bit longer than most five year olds. He was coach of the year a few years ago. The people really irking me this year generally were Angelo/Turner. But if Cowher's not coming here than I'd be happier with those two gone, or at worst, just Turner. As long as we win games who cares who the coach is ! Did Mike Ditka win Superbowl XX for us? Did he arse. It was those beautiful men in the trenches. It was Sweetness. Mad Mac. Suhey. Butthead. The wrecking crew of linebackers. Fancy Fencik.

Today was sweet. Enjoy. In a year or two (when T-Jack has the Queens back in the basement) the gift of Jay Christopher Cutler presented to us on April 2 will be recognised as the seachange in fortunes we expected him to be. Somebody listed the Bears previous records today and asked why we remained Bears fans. I've never even been to the States, no intention of ever going unless Soldier Field is the destination. But I'll say two things : Walter Payton, and days like today. Thank you my beautiful Bears ... you are who we thought you were.

    Bear down ladies and gents.

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

Irish, you're on a tear. Maybe next year, you'll have to make a visit to the Field.
I think J-Cut went a long way tonight towards getting his head right, as well as that of every Bears fan on the planet.

  • In reply to MikeBrownhadaPosse:

Posse, I think I'd just break down crying if I got to Soldier Field. It's been my Mecca for a long time. Did see the Bears play though, they played an exhibition against the Steelers in Ireland in the early nineties. One day ...

  • In reply to EVILteddie:

AGAIN WHERE HAS THIS ANGRY DEFENSE COME FROM

HOLY SHIT ARROW AGAIN WHY WERE YOU ON THE PACTICE SQUAD

  • In reply to EVILteddie:

Hey fucking trolls. suck on that you complete douchebags!

Baaaaahahahahahaha.... have fun losing in the first round you fucking turds!

  • In reply to EVILteddie:

Today Cutler proved he is a man. Give him the supporting cast and the sky is the limit.

    Da Bears, Oh yeah.

  • In reply to EVILteddie:

Fuck yeah Jay, that's what we're waiting for!

  • In reply to EVILteddie:

AWESOOOOOMMMMMEEEEE! As much as I hate Lovie, I hate the Vi-Queens more and am glad the Bears won. I only hope this doesn't secure Lovie's job for another season. Devin Aramoshabadoo (or however you spell his man) is easily our best WR. And for Lovie to have him on the practice squad all season should be justify his firing at the end of the season. Go Bears!

  • In reply to EVILteddie:

    Fucking SHABBA -DABBA -DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • In reply to EVILteddie:

if you need ANY reason to see why the "Hester is our Number 1 Receiver" project should DIE, please see Devin Aromashodu. The coaches are complete idiots for not getting him the damn ball more this season

  • In reply to EVILteddie:

No way I can sleep for another couple hours after that game.

Jeff is now required to attend EVERY Bears game. No excuses.

  • In reply to Shady:

    Great minds think alike.
Hell, Jeff needs us to buy him a PSL and airplane tickets to every home game if this is going to be the outcome.

  • In reply to Shady:

Tommie Harris - where in the hell were you all year?
Amazing what a difference it makes having a DT who collapses the middle of the pocket. What desert mental island has he been on for the last 14 weeks?

  • In reply to Shady:

    1/4/10.

  • In reply to Shady:

    Holy Crap...the Bears won!

Old Man Favre seemed like he could handle the cold weather.
    The Vikings defense...not so much.

  • In reply to KentuckyBearsFan:

And the WR who couldn't get any playing time before hacd 150 yards. We had a #1 receiver all year...he just wasn't playing.

  • In reply to KentuckyBearsFan:

Don't forget the guy that got cut to keep Iglesias !! He's taller and probably better ...

  • In reply to KentuckyBearsFan:

Irish, I believe they kicked that field goal when they did because Cutler got his throwing hand, or more likely his wrist dinged on the previous play and they didn't want to risk him trying to take a snap and make a play while it was a fresh injury so I'll give them a pass on that. Other than that, you make a nice laundry list of valid points.

I think they should also have been using time-outs at the end of the 4th quarter to save some time to get a shot at a field goal after the Vikes tied it.

  • In reply to Albertintucson:

Oh yeah ? Thanks Al. I was watching the game at work in a little box at the corner of my screen. Couldn't see much detail. Can't wait to see it this evening on a big screen - knowing the result !!

  • In reply to MB30SD:

I can't remember which on of the boys doesn't like Hunter, maybe Doc? While he's no Butkus, he's def made some plays this year.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

I've been hating on HH - but he nutted up tonight. Made a couple of huge plays and hits.
Still don't want him starting at Mike, but he played a HUGE part in saving this game.

  • In reply to MikeBrownhadaPosse:

Me too Posse, great strip tonight though, and 15 tackles thereabouts, but he has about just over half the tackles Urlacher would have had. He's a backup at best.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Childress looks like a philosophy professor or a homeless man, not a head football coach.

Why do us bloggers realize the need to play the only big receiver all year, but the head coach and OC can't figure it out?

Those of you that said Arosh wasn't good because he was cut by other teams can eat a dick.

Fuck, that saved Lovie for another year.

  • In reply to crowntheirass:

Us bloggers also figured out back in week 4 that Williams should be starting at LT ahead of Pace, that Shaffer should be at RT, and that running between the tackles this year with Forte was a lost cause.
We are collectively several thousand IQ points ahead of our OC and head Coach.
Let's also mention the fact that Lovie sat on 3 timeouts in regulation with the Vikings in the red zone and under 2 minutes left. That was idiotic.

  • In reply to MikeBrownhadaPosse:

Lovie's ass is still gone, and we just got alot more appealing for Shanny and Cowher. This is what the potential of our team looks like.

  • In reply to MikeBrownhadaPosse:

    Hey,

Where are all those Queens trolls now? Kinda quiet in here.

  • In reply to MikeBrownhadaPosse:

i like the thought of having DA develop an even better rapport with Cutty. DA was the real deal and then got hurt and was ignored. He is obviously fast as balls and is a big body. I want Hester to move to slot but i would rather have Bennett out there more often. DA and Bennett got no respect before the season but they have stepped up hard. Knox will get better but has to stop pussying out on his routes when a DB jumps the route. Olsen running the slant on the goal line was welcome relief from the dreaded fade that turner loves to throw.

  • In reply to MikeBrownhadaPosse:

Crown..please do not give homeless a bad name with CHILDY hahaha

as for bloggers to the coach this is his problem he has head so far up his ass he cannot see out...(Earlier thread Plastic Belly Button People)

and your right about another year..here comes the LOVEFEST revival

  • In reply to crowntheirass:

And Tim Shaw - give the guy a frigging multi-yr contract.
HE IS A SPECIAL TEAMS ANIMAL. What a find. He was flat out destroying m-fers on returns.

I'd also like to say, nice catch, Rashied "Hands" Davis. You still need to go, but nice catch.

  • In reply to MikeBrownhadaPosse:

no chance Brownie, they wouldn't give Brendan Ayabandejo a contract and he fucking murdered people, Shaw is one bad piece of white bread though and i wouldn't mind him sticking around.

  • In reply to hollywood1:

He is a bad, bad man with bad intentions.

  • In reply to hollywood1:

all the negative idiots and haters, go fuck yourselves. As a fan how can you not enjoy a rare bright spot? Dumb. Fucks. Suck my ass.
Dear media- see what happens when Jay gets a little blocking and somewhat decent play from WRs? He shines. Go fuck yourselves for blaming everything on him all year long. Fucking morons.
Favre dick suckers-this was for you, courtesy of the Bears not for the first time. He sucks. He is so so so overrated, egotistical, arrogant and done.
AP fans- suck a dick. What does your guy do in the crunch, over and over? FUMBLE.
Lovie- good bye. Aromashodu's game winning TD and HUGE game shows finally, once and for all, how fucking stupid you are. Lovie, please please go and never ever look back. You killed this team and this season.
Tommie? Mark A? Nice of you to show up. Please do so regularly next year for Bill Cower or Shannie.
Zach B, my fellow Alaskan? Good game. Catch that pick, damn you. Starter next year.
Jay? Sorry man. I know this is the real you. I apologize that you are saddled with this o line and WR core and worst of all, this coaching staff. It will improve.
Ron Turner? Please, just put the bullet in your head. Fuckstick.
Chris Williams? Un. Fucking. Real. You just played the game of your life and shut down Jared "white trash woman beater meth head dick" Allen. Nice. Please continue to blossom. Way to go, man- we've been waiting.
    Bear Down, 2010 Bears.

  • In reply to hollywood1:

Whoever said I wasn't a Bears fan? I've been here all year. They still have been a terrible team all season, and it was so Bears to see them blow that lead all the while Knox and Tillman are getting carted off.

But they held on in the end and it was a pretty awesome ending.

  • In reply to hollywood1:

i loved seeing the Bears win against a playoff caliber team and that they played with heart but did anyone else get fucking pissed just thinking about how much ass we were supposed to kick this year? We had the tools but just couldn't put it together, keeping Williams at LT and Schaffer at RT and maybe a better FS? I didn't see us winning 6 or 7. I am happy as fuck that our QB is Cutty and not some game manager. fuck that. get the kid a new RG, move Beekman to center and piss on the bubble screen. would Kreutz be a good guard? can't be worse than Garza. muy terible!

    Fuck!!!!!

  • In reply to hollywood1:

meaning, i didn't see us winning 6 or 7 games, i saw us winning 10 to 12. as did tons of talking heads and sports writers.

  • In reply to hollywood1:

    ANIMAL...nice!!!

I didnt watch until the fourth and damn near shit my pants to see that we were winning. Now I'm pissed at myself for not being able to watch the game. SHIT!!!!Hope NFL network replay's it. Read through the blog and got caught up.... thanks to all of you!! as for the trolls FU BIQUEENS.

    Your welcome Saints!!!!

  • In reply to nicholsra:

I think you are guaranteed to see this on NFL Replay this week.
Hell, I'm not deleting it off my DVR. Ever.

  • In reply to MikeBrownhadaPosse:

    Me either.

  • In reply to hollywood1:

Da Coach http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=4774820&bn_r=ecc he was the only one to pick da bears tonight to win from the ESPN staff.

  • In reply to hollywood1:

meaning, i saw us winning 10-12 as did most writers and talking heads.

  • In reply to hollywood1:

Exactly, when Ortman is still dinking and dunking his way to 8-8 records for the next 6 years, we'll actually have a shot at a Lombardi ...

  • In reply to hollywood1:

Who knew Chris Williams was a freaking magician?

    He made Jared Allen DISAPPEAR!

Yippee ki-yay! No calf ropin' for you tonight, White Trash!

    YEEEE-HAW!

  • In reply to Albertintucson:

Definitely the highlight of the game for me was seeing Willams beat that bitch like a drum!

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Good game. I am a Bear but I had lost my hope 4 weeks ago.I like my team, the players anyway. Wish everyone from the coaches up are doing something else next year.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

"I wish we could put two halves together... like we did in the second half..."

    - Brett Farve (post game presser)

    Hahahahahahaha

  • In reply to MB30SD:

And THE FUCKING ASSHOLES SIT ON THE GODDAMN BALL!!!

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Well frak me backwards thru a hedge and call me Rosie. Guess what ...

  • In reply to MB30SD:

O.K. ... I take back my previous comment about Cutler manning up. Excellent throw to Bennet for the go ahead score!

  • In reply to MikeMcCarthy:

    D. Manning in the house with a good tackle on Harvin!

  • In reply to EVILteddie:

Shit ... down goes Cutler. At least he didn't try and force another pass.

  • In reply to EVILteddie:

You don't think it's pretty funny that the Bears are about to blow a 16-0 halftime lead and watch Knox and Tillman get carted off in the same half? You sir are a moron.

  • In reply to EVILteddie:

cmon boys we gotta earn this one.... Bear Down!!!!!!

  • In reply to Scala:

    Nice stop by T. Harris.

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

"Let's hope this vikings defense steps up now"

    - Jaws

    Are you fucking serious?

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

As long as the Bears don't suck their testicles in too far and they keep it loose we can beat these punks.

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

If we can extend the lead and then stop the queens on their next position we will win.

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

that's not damn good. both of our burners out. fucking a

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

Defense's gotta get aggressive again or we're in trouble.

Nice return but we need to move the ball. Run the fucking clock,

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

Hope Knox is O.K. ... he's shown a lot of potential as rookie, and will only get better with experience ... especially with a new coaching staff/offensive coordinator.

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

    Cutler!!!

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

ho-ly shit. Turner are you fucking serious? 2 and 19 and you call a damn trap. Fuuuuck. Here we go guys.

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

Oh Jeez.... Not this shit again ... CMON Cutler

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

Gents, you don't burn your nose on the radiator twice. Throw the frigging ball away.

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

I got the perfect play on 2 and 19...dive play. - Ron Turner

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

hold onto your hats all, it's going to get scary.

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

I never realized what a 'tard Jaws is.

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

Thank goodness the vikings are tackling their own guys tonight

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

I do have a problem with Cutler hucking it up on the sidelines after an assbrain interception like that. I'm really start to see how Lovie has lost control of this team.

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

    Gruden is worse.

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

Nice pressure by Idonije ... he looks a hell of a lot better than Walle at DE!

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

Jaws is the most unbelievable of idiots

  • In reply to Mastodon:

Just goes to show how dumb football players are, Jaws a QB , can you imagine him in the huddle ... "Okay guys, let's see here ..."

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

Favre is getting hot ... crap!

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

oh fuck, that's all we need. GP, I guess you were right. Steltz did bring the wood. Damn.

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    Craig-o:

You have wasted the Plank Karma. You shall not be rewarded.

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

I'll spot the Bears 17 points and then show why I'm football immortality! - Brett Favre

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

Gotta love the second half adjustment by the Bears' coaching staff, eh?

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

    ABsolutely have to get a stop or it's deep shit, Don;t fuck the best effort of the year;

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

Someone needs to give Cutler a blanket party next time he throws an interception like that.

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

Come on Bears ... its time to get tough and shut the Vi-Queens down right now!!

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

Somehow I don't expect to see Tillman on the field next week.

  • In reply to Sausage:

I am serious... are the vikings paying the commentators? I'm going to mute these idiots very soon. my dog,

  • In reply to Sausage:

Why don't the Bears have a blitz package on 3rd down situations that actually work.

  • Lovie already makes himself look like a fool. With countless comments he's made in the last 3 weeks...can there be any doubt at all that the man is clueless or at the very least dellusional.

I say bring it to Favre (Shouldn't this be pronounced "Fav-Ray"?)
Break his knees, intercept him 5 times and run 2 back for TDs. I'll root for the Bears as always and hope for the best. I don't think the Bears "have to" lose to prove Lovie needs to be gone. We have a pile of evidence already.

  • In reply to Reichwolff:

    Yep, it's Bart Fav-Ray.

  • In reply to Reichwolff:

What's the matter with some of you guys? Rooting against the Bears! What's the point? There's no guarantee Lovie is getting canned if we lose. I hate the BiQueens and I hate Favre. I also hate their fans. Always lots of talk when they're winning and invisible when they're losing. Those assholes almost had a playoff game blacked out last year. Green Bay is about the size of a bedroom community of the Twin-Cities and they would NEVER have a game blacked out, let alone a playoff game. Says all you need to know about those pathetic douchebags.

    Go Bears!

  • In reply to CanadaBear:

    Well said CandyBear, well said.

  • In reply to ImissButkus:

I live in La Crosse, WI on the MN border. Packer fans have more class than those Viking assholes. I want to see the assclown Vikings implode. I remember a game where the Bears were winning in the 3rd quarter, and ALL the Viking fans walked out of the bar. MN came back at the end, and almost ALL those idiots walked back in and started talking shit. Those fans don't deserve a Super Bowl team. Go Bears! And go Badgers tomorrow night. I wish we had Wisconsin's OC. He blows Turner out of the water.

  • In reply to ImissButkus:

This might be blasphemy on here, but I like Jared Allen's shtick. I think it's funny and wish he was on the Bears. Plus, he used to be a roadie for Motorhead. As a metalhead myself, that's pretty cool.

  • In reply to TheFifth:

I hope Ron Turner learns you have to double team Allen, but I don't think he's capable.

  • In reply to TheFifth:

Are you serious ? He roadied for Lemmy ? Wow. He's still a tool though. I can't get that image of the fool up a tree in camo paint spearing a deer ....

  • In reply to TheFifth:

Cutler looks good when he has time...

  • In reply to TheFifth:

So far, Chris Williams is doing a great job on Jared Allen! The big difference between tonight, and the previous 14 games is Cutler has time to setup and throw the damn ball.

  • In reply to ColoradoBearsFan:

We look great don't we ? Williams is soping with the cracker really well, yeah.

  • In reply to TheFifth:

greatjob on that lovie, you fucking MORON!!!!!

  • In reply to TheFifth:

Lovie ... you pussy ... run another damn play and go for the end zone!

  • In reply to TheFifth:

Shabba - DABBA - DOOOO !!! Bring me Vincent Jackson ! Bring the Bears another monster and we shall do battle with all comers ... !!!!

  • In reply to TheFifth:

    Da Bears 16, Queens 0.

  • In reply to TheFifth:

WTF !!!? Giving up on 2nd down !!!!? WTF !!? Okay, bye bye Lovie

  • In reply to TheFifth:

Williams is beating Allen pretty badly tonight so far. If any one ting we could get out of this game would be best, it would be that Chris Williams understands, and shows, that he can beat any RE in the NFL.

  • In reply to Mastodon:

most definitely - i really like how hes playing

  • In reply to Mastodon:

If Chris Williams turns out to be an anchor like Keith Van Horne was for the 80's team we have a chance of turning the tide on offense for years to come.

  • In reply to Mastodon:

WBBM 780 is reporting play by play AHEAD of the picture on ESPN. It's bizzare.

I just switched the radio on a few minutes ago......tired of the TV babble and anticipating a halftime Farve, Farve, Fav-ray..well you know.

    It's Bizarre. WTF???

  • In reply to TomBecker:

the pieces are pre-produced, that's why.

I'd like to see him handle a Dumervil. Orlando will be in the HOF one day, and just got owned by the midget ...

  • In reply to CanadaBear:

I don't give a shit what some douchebag troll cries about, or how bad we've been this year and will be for the foreseeable future. The Bears are MY motherfucking team and I will always be a God Damn Bears Fan. I've got a lot of life left to live so I can damn well wait for real owners and real management and real coaches. That

  • In reply to MB30SD:

Right there with you MB, screaming our heads off in the Vikings section ... let's do it ...

  • Jeff..nice image.

What you do not see off camera shot is Childress whispering to BF.."hey I want to pull you off the podium so I can get up there and make some balloon animals to mask my shity ass decision to bring you to Minneey-so-da. Sven omg I mean Bree-ata.

And this picture shows Bree-ata. saying "Ah shit not again Childress. I threw you under the bus once so.... I have to do it again?"

  • I'm coming around to think that we need to lose these last two games just for good measure, just in case there needs to be even more evidence that we need big change - the Bears management hasn't exactly been clairvoyant... ever. So two more sad, embarrassing losses should do the trick hopefully.

And while I don't want us to lose and won't cheer for the other team by any means (especially the disgusting lutefisk eaters), it won't hurt our long term goals if we do lose tonight and next week. And like Celery says, it's for a good cause. To be honest I

  • I'm surprised the line is only - 11 for the Vikings. I'll still be pulling for my Bears to do well but in the back of my mind I wouldn't be too disappointed to see them get killed if it will speed up getting a new coaching team in there. I think they should clean house from Lovie on down. I'd love to see Shanahan or a good quality coach take over.

  • MB.. I agree with you about the non-emotional tie to this team. Tonight I WILL NOT WATCH.. I just cannot, I cannot find it in me

I'm trying to convince myself that the next two losses are good for the team (I donot beleive I just said that, but I did).

    Celery..It is for the cause!!!

B4E..Yeah we do have to prove that LDL is a idiot. for at this time I trully beleive McC's will kepp all of them..sad too say.

I know about the Billboard..Did we get enough $$$ for the Ad in the paper?

  • We are in a lose, lose, lose situation. If we win, ownership will find a reason to hesitate on pursuing needed change, if we lose Denver moves up with that 1st round pick we gave them for cutler so we lose whether we win or lose. What a joke.

  • BTW, great pic as usual Jeff. Captured the perfect embodiment of that whiny little bitch. God, I can't stand that idiot - great QB, but what a total and utter douchebag of a man.

Well, in that case - where's another contract extension for Lovie?

  • In reply to MASOCHR:

"Gaines Adams' snakebit season might have taken another turn for the worse when he tweaked his ankle in practice Saturday and is listed as questionable on the injury report.

This it what happens to a team with no focus and a leader that doesn't know shit!!!

  • In reply to nicholsra:

Snakebit season? For whom? Not for Gaines.

His trade means he is assured two more years as a 'project' NFL player vs. hitting the bricks and being labelled BUST has he stayed in Tampa.

No, no - this season has been a giant gravy train for Gaines Adams and his bank account.

  • In reply to MASOCHR:

    Let's talk about miracles.

Yesterday, TAMPA BAY won in New Orleans.

If the Bears win this game, Lovie (unfortunately) keeps his job.
If the Bears lose this game in a close one, Lovie STILL probably keeps his job.

Only a blowout by the Vikings will get Lovie fired I think.

This is going to be a weird game to watch, hoping for a MIRACLE WIN or a BLOWOUT LOSS.

    Decisions, decisions, decisions.
[Oh wait....I don't make any decisions.]

    GO BEARKINGS!

  • In reply to MASOCHR:

Is anybody really going to this blow out tonight? It's going to be very cold there. The Vikes are going to bitch slap the Bears around all night! 35-3 Vikes and we get the field goal on the first drive. Going to be a long cold night for any fans in the stands. I doubt I'll watch any on TV. Should be one of the lowest rated MNF games.

  • In reply to antuck:

Your score is probably close, but the Bears points will come right before half when they are down 28-0, then Lovie can say we have momentum going into the second half a-la Cincy game.

  • In reply to antuck:

Whats the line on the game?

  • In reply to MASOCHR:

I'm not much of a Peter King afficianado, but I can't take too much issue with the lengthy (and depressing) laundry list he presents. Alas, MB, I do NOT see that list as "doable" in one offseason, especially by the talent-evaluating-challenged Bears.

  • In reply to Albertintucson:

Sorry Al, I should have been more clear. I mean that it would be doable IFF:

    1. We pull the trigger on a Cowher or Shanny and their respective harem of position coaching/scouting talent

    2. Since we just sold the farm to get said coach, we might as well blow out free agency and fill as many gaps as the cap will allow. Open up that safe Mikey you little punk

Now, we all realize that doing even one of the above 2 choices will amount to Brad Childers winning GQ

  • In reply to Albertintucson:

    forte has 49 yards

farv has 3 tds, 1 pick, 295 yards, and very chilly ears for such a tough guy

  • In reply to Albertintucson:

Why are we Bears fans, lets ask ourselves this questions for a second. Is it only because we were born and raised in Chicago? Well, lets be honest, the Bears we grew up with are not the Bears of the last 2+ decades. We should be contenders EVERY year, we should be in a playoff hunt EVERY year. Why do we root for this team? When was the last time we went on a streak for years of being a dominant football team? Cowboys did it, 49ers did it, Patriots did it, Colts are doing it. Think about it. This organization is a joke and we spend thousands of dollars supporting a franchise that sucks. Here is their record for the past decades and you tell me if this is the Bears team you are proud of:

    '90- 6-10
    '91- 11-5
    '92- 5-11
    '93- 7-9
    '94- 9-7

    '97- 4-12
    '98- 4-12
    '99- 6-10

    '01- 13-3
    '02- 4-12
    '03- 7-9

So tell me, why is it that we have been practically the same mediocre to bad (with the rare good season) over and over again while ALL the other teams in the league DO NOT TOLERATE this?? Do you really think Jerry Jones would take this crap? How can we be proud. This is not Papa Bears' team anymore. Sorry but Payton and Halas are crying in heaven watching this mismanaged, disfunctional organization disappoint fans every year. We need change and someone needs to speak up and dedicate themselves to the fans, not the pocketbooks.

  • In reply to RealityCheck:

The only thing you BEARS fans need is a little hustle, watch the game and watch how they quit playing when they are down...quit complaining... mabye you need a good coach like childress...When your team is not doing good ...all I read from you are REASONS why they stink, suck it up man and stand by your team. think about it..LOSERS can be LOSERS if they think they are LOSERS...get real and stand behind them.

  • In reply to MNVIKINGGUY:

haha, you said childress was good. a little adrian peterson and two fat asses in the middle of your d line make everyone geniuses i guess.

  • In reply to Sausage:

Two fat asses who SHOULDN'T EVEB BE PLAYING !! CHEATING FARKS !!!

  • In reply to MNVIKINGGUY:

    A good coach... like Childress.

Uh-huh. Farve is already screaming at him. He looks like Mister Amber Alert.

Our coach may look like Mace Windu visits Dunkin Donuts, but we'll take him over that.

  • In reply to gpldan:

:o) The Farce is strong with him ...

  • In reply to MNVIKINGGUY:

MCFUCKY..I have a few MINNEY-SO-DA friends and let me tell you each of them have expressed that Childress is as bad or even worse than LDL and he is lucky to still be in MINNEY-SO-DA. Obviously you management is as stupid as ours.

  • In reply to MNVIKINGGUY:

Ohhh, THAT's what that smell is. A Vikingtroll got loose in here.
Should've locked him in his lttle ice-fishing shack along with his stench.

RealityCheck, your list of records makes it seem like organizational mediocrity is a post-George Halas developement.

Sad to report, it is not.

The stretch between the 1963 and 1985 Championship teams is just as bad, if not worse and I believe includes only 3 post-season appearances and just 1 post-season win prior to 1985.

OH, Narcissus! Be sure to bring your parka, mittens and heated skivvies because as I write this, it is 27 degrees and dropping in Chicago, heading for a low of 12. You can throw in a little vriable Northwest breeze of from 10-20 MPH which should put the wind chill right down near zero.

  • In reply to Albertintucson:

Albert, you are right. Pretty sad when you really look at things from a win loss standpoint. Really, in the scope of things, Lovie's overall record is better than most coaches in the league given his tenure. My biggest complaint is that in a league that has razor thin margins between winning and losing, the Bears have pissed away good talent and taken too many chances on unproven talent. That in my book handicaps our chances of winning. All I want is a team that CAN win on any given Sunday, not a team that blows assbrain crap all over the field every given Sunday.

  • In reply to RealityCheck:

Looks like you're making a pretty strong argument to keep Lovie. Looks like his teams have performed head and shoulders above the teams the 15 years before he came here. Maybe we she thank our lucky stars Lovie is our coach.

  • In reply to ImissButkus:

I'd like to see what he can do with some good players ....
nah, scratch that ... bring in the chin.

  • In reply to ImissButkus:

    nice 5 yard route on 3rd and 7 . . . I've seen that somewhere before.

  • In reply to MaineBearFan:

    Bearing down in Texas

  • In reply to MaineBearFan:

Thats what im talking about, 1st down

  • In reply to MASOCHR:

reports are being made that John Fox has been offered an opportunity to coach next season.

which (according to Adam Schefter) means Cowher has only one destination left to go....

  • In reply to FQD1911:

    Tampa?

Cause he ain't coming here. the McCaskeys simply are not going to eat Lovie's contract, even if the Lions run over us.

  • In reply to gpldan:

Word, Mac. Same old shit next season, hopefully Turner-less .....

  • In reply to FQD1911:

Since I want Lovehammer fired, my hope is that we lose tonights game. What I'll watch and hope for is that a Bear with some pride left will deliver a kill shot on any Viking player that will help them in the playoffs. Knocking Brett out would do fine thank you! Maybe even hillbilly himself...Jared "The Cowpoke" Allen

  • In reply to FQD1911:

All I want for Christmas is Farve's head on a platter....
    head on a platter...
    head on a platter...

Gee, if I could only have Farve's head on a platter,
Then I could wish you "Merry Christmas."

  • In reply to FQD1911:

All losers plain and simple.... Head on a platter huh? gpldan- is that all you have.. he will out play your entire team... and jerseyflyer, "The Cowpoke" as you describe him...is the best in the NFL, you know you like him and would give any 1st round pick up to get him.. As a matter of fact your 1st string team would not stand a chance against the vikings 2nd or even 3rd string players ..You are all JUST Bears fans and are going to have to sit and watch for them lose for the next 5 years..

  • In reply to MNVIKINGGUY:

the cowpoke is pretty good, i wouldn't want farv though. honestly, how does it feel having farve?

  • In reply to MNVIKINGGUY:

I hope AP breaks all kinds of records on Lovie's defense right after Favre strokes out on the field....ok maybe that's harsh....

  • In reply to MNVIKINGGUY:

MNVIKINGGUY - if you think Childress is a good coach, it's colder there than I thought. Granted, next to Lovie he looks like Shula or Lombardi, but he's not a good coach.

If the Bears players need the fans to stand by them in order to play well, then they are not pros. We DO stand by them; it's the coaching staff we are down on. (And certain players that clearly quit - but if I were making millions and takign direction from a clueless coach, I might have trouble getting motivated too.

  • In reply to BillW:

Bill. I can't believe I'M saying this to anyone, but we should stop feeding this troll.. he's a complete douchebag that adds zero value to any discussions.

  • In reply to MNVIKINGGUY:

What are you going to do with T-Jack as QB exactly ?

  • In reply to MNVIKINGGUY:

17-14 Bears. Fuck it. I hate to see em lose ...

  • In reply to MNVIKINGGUY:

Earl Bennett was WIDE OPEN on 2nd down. Unreal

  • In reply to FQD1911:

    Dear Craig Steltz,

Wow, you're starting, huh? Big time there. As Rodman used to say when he was in Chicago, bigguns. I bet you're getting really pumped right now. Your agent is telling you this is your night, all Jerry McQuire like. Show you the money! Ha ha, just kidding.

Here's what you need to do right this instant, Craig-o. Go take this picture right here:

    http://www.checkoutmycards.com/CardImages/Cards/042/371/01F.jpg

Print it out. Color or black and white if Virginia refused to spring for that nice Konica in the locker room, doesn't matter. Paste it up on your locker. Look at it. He is you. You could be him.

    Honest.

All it takes is one act: When Hunter calls for safety blitz, don't pee your pants. Don't hop up and down, even if it is damn cold, just break huddle and sell every last one of those Vikings that you are playing zone. Give them your best fake poker tell: pick your ass or something you do when you think Peanut needs help with Berrian over the top. Make us BELIEVE.

Then, when Farve turns that old neck of his to check his set, and looks away, come in. Fast. Right between the guard and the tackle. And commit. I know, the NFL is hard, you've been getting run over all night by Peterson. He's a lot stronger than when you saw him during your LSU days, huh? NFL strength programs do that sort of thing to guys with the frames to withstand it. He's just as fast, btw. But you know that because he's already run for two on you.

Don't worry. Redemption is just ahead.

Look at your mug in the mirror:
    http://static.nfl.com/static/content/catch_all/nfl_image/combine/headshots/2645.jpg

Say it. "I am him. He is me."

And when you catch the guard with his head turned, and break in - you will see an old man standing there. No, it is not the Wizard of Oz, although they look about the same, don't they? You are not the cowardly lion. You are HE.

Drop your helmet. yes, I know I know, the NFL says that is illegal. Dude, you're out of the NFL either way - so drop the helmet. Drive it into his back. Hit him with everything you have, everything you ever DREAMED of having. Do it for him. He is you.

For the rest of your life, you will get free steak dinners anywhere in Northern Illinois. Doesn't matter where. You will be a hero. They will speak the word Steltz in hushed tones when our grandkids are adults, they will call you a monster... of the midway.

Do it Craig-o. We know you can.

    Sincerely,

    Bear Fandom.

  • In reply to gpldan:

    Nice.

  • In reply to gpldan:

    Indeed. Well done GP

  • In reply to gpldan:

Albert, thanks for the added stats. It just goes to show further that we continue to support an organization that is satisfied with the status quo. So almost 50 years go by and we have 1 superbowl and a handful of playoff wins, thats pathetic. I hate to be a downer but i have been a fan for 30 years and keep seeeing the same thing over and again. I remember Daly saying he wants a new team in Chicago for football, maybe that could happen and we can start rooting for them as they probably would get an owner with some life and some accountability. Otherwise, since it seems we are all stuck on the 1985 Bears, we should just buy the 1985 season on dvd and just watch that every sunday.

  • In reply to RealityCheck:

Go support 'em then. What kind of talk is that ?! GO BEARS !!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!

  • In reply to RealityCheck:

O-line is doing a good job so far tonight.

  • In reply to FQD1911:

We ARE Bear fans because we live in Chicago. That's usually how it works. You pick a team fro some reason and then stay with them through thin and thinner.

Look how many Packer fans there are in Chicago. Born and raised here. Ask them why and many can't really tell you. "My Dad was a Packer fan". OK - why was he a Packer fan when he was born and raised in Chicago? "They were really good when he was growing up."
SO??? That was over 40 years ago. Maybe you shoudl switch to New England or Indy now.

It makes more sense to root for the home team than following a team just because they win. Doesn't mean we have to accept futility though.

  • In reply to BillW:

I am because my family was born there, and fuck the Lions unless Ford sells the team to someone who gives a shit (gotta root for em sometimes though). Seriosuly, you think Virginia and Mikey are bad?

  • In reply to BillW:

After tonight you will be Vikings fans....Screaming means a passion for winning... you don't see your team screaming do you? I take that as a NO.. if your QB was told he needs to get out of the game he would run to the shower..I take that as a YES.....

  • In reply to BillW:

Bill, I understand what you say, and i am not saying to stop cheering for the Bears, I am simply asking what is there to cheer for anymore? Arent you tired of hearing the words re-structure or re-build? Its like having a best friend growing up and then 25 years later he starts kicking you in the face over and over again and you want to stay his friend because you grew up with him and he lived next door. Maybe its time to start finding a new friend. I want the McCaskeys to tell us why we should support their/our team. Thats all.

  • In reply to RealityCheck:

The days of city loyalty died decades ago. If I'm gonna pay to watch some worthless trust-funder play with his toy, he better be damn good at it.

  • In reply to RealityCheck:

I don't cheer for the Bears. In fact, seriously thinkign of giving up my season tickets this year. Convinced that they are a low class clueless organization that is living off the Halas name and Bears legacy. They are oblivious to the fact that around the league we are essentailly a laughing stock franchise.

  • In reply to RealityCheck:

I'm a bears fan because of the 80's. That team was bad ass. Yeah we only won 1 superbowl, but we sure kicked the shit out of a lot of teams. Most entertaining team to watch, funnest team to cheer for. Even when we were declining we still had Ditka's hilarious fits of rage on the sideline to keep us entertained. Sadly, those days are long gone, and all we have now is Mace "chestdump" Windu on the sidelines looking all zen like while we're getting our asses kicked up and down the field. But, loyalties are loyalties and I'm not about to stop rooting for the team that gave me walter payton and the best defense in the history of the NFL. Even if said team is now stocked full of imposters. Bear the fuck down you sonovabiches!

  • In reply to MASOCHR:

There was some crazy stat back in the 80's - for a couple years, teams had some insanely low winning % the week after the Bears beat the shit out of them.

  • In reply to MASOCHR:

I copied this post from another blog because this is exactly what I have been saying from the get go about shanny and da chin. No way, no how. Maybe now you all might see the light. My nose tells me that its going to be Lovehead for at least one more year and we'll just have to wait and see who the Bears can coax out of retirement to be the next coach of the Chicago Bears.

Exert from Chicago Bears Daily Blog comments:

The Bears fortunes went south this weekend when Mike Shanahan said he would not be interested in the Bears job because of his freindswhip with Lovie Smith. I admire his loyalty to friends, but he is killing any chance my new favorite team has at success!

He is the only one who could turn this mess around utilizing the only talented player on the roster, Jay Cutler. If Cowher comes in, I have no doubt that in three or four years that the Bears will be back, but it will be without Cutler as QB and the Bears $20 million lighter in their war chest. Cowher has ridiculed Cutler on the pathetic excuse for a pregame show (FOX)that he is a member of and I have no doubt that he will either move him or bench him shortly after his arrival as Bears coach if he comes. Man, what a waste of talent that will be!

Speaking of talent and coaching philosophy, how is that

  • In reply to MASOCHR:

Don't worry bears fans, we will make sure we crush your team for the second time this year and put you out of your misery. And it doesn't matter if you get a new coach next year. If crybaby cutler continues being your QB, you'll never make the playoffs.

  • In reply to MASOCHR:

Fuckin A Coach !!! That's the shit I'm talkin' about right there. Support your team through thick and thin dammit. BEar the fuck down !!!!!

  • In reply to MASOCHR:

Thank God I dont have to listen to Brian Billick calling the game this week. I kinda like Gruden.

  • In reply to RealityCheck:

No one on this blog or any other has to provide any reasoning to a troll for liking the team they do. Next year when the vikings or packers are middle of the road (as usual or they suck) all these douchebag trolls will magically dissapear. Jesus, one good season and they think they

  • In reply to MB30SD:

They're just mad they haven't got a Lombardi MB ...

  • In reply to MB30SD:

    Da Bears, 3-0

  • In reply to BillW:

There are a lot of Bear fans in Wisconsin too. Grew up across the border, probably 60% Pack, 40% Bear fans.

  • In reply to MASOCHR:

Me thinks thou complaineth too mucheth. I know another team that was 6-10 last year, which the Bears can still match. The team had a good draft and now in the playoff hunt. And the same coach is still around this year.

  • In reply to MASOCHR:

    RodgerRodger..move on troll

  • In reply to nicholsra:

RodgerRodger may be a Packers fan, but I wouldn't classify him as a troll per se.
    "John" was a troll.

  • In reply to nicholsra:

Troll or not, Rodger Rodger doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground. While I'm sure we all appreciate a packer fan trying to cheer us up, the situation we are in where gb was last season are totally different. The fudgepack had 2 first rounders last year, and both players have been major contributors to this years packer squad. The bear will start picking in round 3.

Prediction for tonight, Jay Cut gets 1 step closer to Vinny Testerverdyland with 3 more picks. (he needs 5 more on the year to be the first since Vinny to get to 30)

Another prediction, AP's string of sub par games ends in a big way. The guy loves playing in Shytown. I'm pretty sure he has more career yardage at Soldier field than Forte does.

  • In reply to MASOCHR:

And I will be back here laughing at you when you do better next year.

  • In reply to MASOCHR:

3 and 2 run the fucking ball!

  • In reply to MASOCHR:

My hatred for the Vikings is so strong, I have none left to muster up for you guys.

  • In reply to MASOCHR:

Knox quit on the route, and almost cost us an INT.

  • In reply to MASOCHR:

jesus, can these tool commentators please stop sucking Brett Farve's dick??? please?

  • In reply to MASOCHR:

    What was that?

  • In reply to MASOCHR:

Tillman got burnt by Berrian again ... just like last year!

  • In reply to MASOCHR:

    PEANUT!!!!! WTF

  • In reply to MASOCHR:

Oh well, at least we're still winning.

  • In reply to MASOCHR:

playing to keep the lead instead of playing to win

  • In reply to MASOCHR:

Tillman just has two bad plays in row ... burnt by Berrian and pass interference on Rice in the end zone!

  • In reply to MASOCHR:

fucken a man. why does the opposing QB hit us on EVERY blown coverage play.... every single god damn one?

    Oh, and nice block izzy

  • In reply to MASOCHR:

I never realize what a 'tard Gruden is.

  • In reply to MASOCHR:

really SC? It's painfully obvious. Guy is a total douche. And he's gt Farves dick in his mouth.

    Hells yes Manning babY!!!

  • In reply to MASOCHR:

Izzy, you da man. A strip and a blocked XP. Way to go ...

  • In reply to MASOCHR:

sorry, I'm being vulgar, but I'm fired up.

  • In reply to MASOCHR:

    Forte is running tough tonight!

  • In reply to MASOCHR:

I gotta say, the Bears 0 is balling tonight

  • In reply to MASOCHR:

my god, those damn zebras finally gave us a straight call

  • In reply to MASOCHR:

dude, did you hear Jaws just give Turner huge props?? WTF????

  • In reply to MASOCHR:

Danieal Manning / Devin Hester belong in the return game. Nowhere else.

  • In reply to MASOCHR:

    DEEEEEZZZYYYY!!!!!!

  • In reply to MASOCHR:

YESSSSSSS!!!!! A difference the run makes... PLAY ACTION!!!!!

  • In reply to MASOCHR:

That's what I'm talking about ... RT conjures up a creative play to get Clark wide open in the end zone for the TD!!!

  • In reply to MASOCHR:

Thats what I'm talking about, Da Bears, Touchdown!!!

  • In reply to MASOCHR:

I think they should ban domes in football. Any football.

  • In reply to nicholsra:

Don't recognize encouragement when you see it?

  • In reply to MASOCHR:

    From the article:

"There is little time to salvage this season, but Marinelli's optimism never wanes. He views the final two games against the Vikings and Lions as an opportunity to showcase the work that went into shaping this defensive line."

This is like taking a shit on a pane of glass, putting it in a fancy glass case with a nice light, and then saying to people if you just change the lighting a little bit, it won't smell so bad.

  • He has a hard-on for Olsen ...

  • AD will cough up the ball tonight. I hope the D scores tonignt.

  • Vikes are starting to stretch the field on the edges, hope Lovie adjusts

  • Fumble, recovered by Tommie, Da Bears

  • Nice speed rush by Isreal. Tommie Harris looks like the Tommie Harris of 2005 ... where in the hel has he been all season?

  • Da Bears .... go Izzy !!

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

    Harris has been hurt.

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

Cutler with a Bobby Douglas imitation.....if anybody remembers....anyway, nice run

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

Cutler running tough on the scramble ... that's what I'm talking about!!

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

I havent seen a run like that getting out of a jam all year.

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

Cutler doesn't cover that rock up when he runs ...

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

Ho-ly shit Jay cutler just earned some of my respect back!

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

Thanks for killing the drive Olsen, you idiot!

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

Bear football tonight boys, we can do this !

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

Olsen to be tattooed on the forehead - "I suck. I have no business in professional sports. Why am I here ?"

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

Do I have to remind you that the Bears drafted him in the 1st round.

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

Did you see that hit that Taylor just took?

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

Way to hold em D. Da Bears.

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

I kinda like Jaws... but they are making some completely inane comments. Lovie's done a great job with the Defense?!?!?!?! What????

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

Bears defense is playing inspired ... HUA!

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

So far the Queens look like the bitches that I thought they were.

  • Yeah that was Gruden. I think he was just making sure the Bears don't call him for an interview.

  • I'll take Bell over Wolf anyday.

  • What the hell is going on here? Is this 2006?

  • Dear baby Jebus. Please let us blow out the Queens on MNF. I'll stop swearing and that tool on WCG can have a cow ....

  • oh my sroshadabadoooo

  • 1st and goal. Thats what I'm talking about.

  • well well well....

  • Nice throw by Cutler and even better catch by D.A.!

  • Pass to Aroma - Williams standing over prostrate Allen. Awesome!!

  • Touchdown, Da Bears.

  • I will be damn!!!!! TD!!!!!!

  • Its about time the Cutler to Olsen connection works in the Red Zone!

  • In reply to ColoradoBearsFan:

    Been ten games or so...

  • In reply to ColoradoBearsFan:

    Shabba- dabba - DOOO !!

    I still hate you Greg.

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

I agree. He owes us a shit load more than we have gotten so far.

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

RealityCheck: so true... best post ever!!
    Bearing down from Portugal!!

  • In reply to IrishBearsFan:

Can anybody tell me why the Bears have such a hard time being successful with screen passes?

  • In reply to ImissButkus:

    I guess not.

  • In reply to ColoradoBearsFan:

Where was this team earlier in the season? I blame the coaches for not puttig the right players on the field.

  • In reply to ColoradoBearsFan:

Now would be a great time for AP to drop the rock.

  • In reply to ColoradoBearsFan:

Goddamn it, Ghost. We're going to beat these bitches like a drum. And hate it.

  • He HAS done a great job with the defense ... we're shutting out one of the 'elite' teams in the NFL. Go Bears.

  • Where the fuck have these guys been?????????????? 1/3 of this effort and we'd be 9 - 5 or better

  • Doc, Read my comments earlier up on the page. When everyone was crying in their beer I covered that along with some positive remarks about the teams performance tonight.

  • Someone needs to tell Steltz to hit the receiver, not the ProBowl-caliber cornerback with bad shoulders.
    That was scary.

Peanut is, IMHO, the toughest guy on the team, physically and emotionally.

And Vikings fans, now is the time for y'all to start freaking the F out...'cause your team is officially shitting its pants.

  • In reply to MikeBrownhadaPosse:

steltz chuck cecil'd the shit out of Peanut. helmut to rib. probably broke 3 of them.

  • In reply to MikeBrownhadaPosse:

MikeBrown, I love it, lets hope they have the handy wipes ready cause they're gonna need them.

  • In reply to MikeBrownhadaPosse:

A special message to all the ViQueens fans out there tonight. I will pay the rental fee for a special showing of:
    http://filmsmusic.files.wordpress.com/2008/06/choke.jpg
    BYOB.

  • In reply to MikeBrownhadaPosse:

Haugh speaks for us all, I think:
    http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/football/bears/chi-29-haugh-bears-vikings-dec29,0,1022449.column

This team CAN perform at a high level. Unfortunately, this coaching staff ain't good enough to get us there week in and week out.
Time's up, Lovie. 3 seasons of declining results is enough.

  • Shit, Peanut. Forgot about Peanut. And Johnny Knox. Fingers crossed.

  • Good point Doc. I was too busy watching good football to notice.

  • See !? When the Bears win .. WE WIN. Let's learn to love Lovie !!! Because he's here to stay now ;o) Is this a record number of comments by the way people ?

  • wow. just an amazing display of football from the 2009 Chicago Bears.

    1) mark anderson is a beast
    2) tommie actually took the stick out of his ass and decided to play
    3) alex brown? lock him in for a while
    4) we need safties. bad.
    5) sux that knox & peanut went down....speedy recovery fellas

now we need to parlay on this big win & go into the offseason HARD!!!!

  • Bears Fans hold your heads up. Your team came out and played for pride tonight in front of a national audience against a division rival. Did you quit when the lead slipped away? Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no! As a Packer fan you made me proud. Tradition dictates that as a life long cheese head I have to hate the Bears. When it comes to the Queens, hating those ass holes is a pleasure. Bear down!

  • In reply to phrozentundra:

Thank you and couldn't agree with your last sentence more.

  • In reply to phrozentundra:

Oh gee whiz - props from a cheesehead.

It's like having Corky the special olympics champion tell you how fast you run.

  • In reply to gpldan:

    BAAAAHAHAhahahahaha... THAT was funny gp.

But I have to say that I have WAY more respect for GB than anything to even remotely do with the Vikings players/coaches/org.

Thanks for the classy post Phrozen.

  • In reply to gpldan:

And gp...I bet Corky had his fingers crossed when he told you that.

  • In reply to phrozentundra:

where has that been all season? they looked like they actually wanted it. can't tell if this is good or bad for lovie. hopefully the latter.

mnvikingsguy - "good coach like childress." childress called the shots the first half, 0 points. farve called the shots the second half, 30 points. good thing you guys gave chilly an extension. he will become your lovie smith. i can't wait.

  • In reply to phrozentundra:

Fun game to watch last night, really does not change my mind that this team still needs a bunch more football players, after all the playoffs and a Super Bowl win is the goal.

I woke up at 2 am and the score was still blaring on the radio. To my disbelief, who was calling in but suicidal Queens fans.Screaming, whining, crying Queens fans. Fire Childress!
