  • Anyone know of a online video feed?

  • This one works fine for me:
    http://www.atdhe.net/8723/watch-cleveland-browns-vs-chicago-bears

  • i found http://www.justin.tv/bears235491 but it is a little choppy

  • Jones hurt...

  • Jones is hurt, looks like an ankle

  • fuck. Kevin Jones hurt.

  • much better feed here from Cleveland http://www.ustream.tv/channel/yardwork

    Great quality.
Jones ankle looks bad. carted off
I like that Rideau started. I really hope he gets a fair look. I'm sorry I want him on the team ahead of Davis.

  • Big Toe can fill Dusty's shoes

  • Look on the bright side better Jones than that happening to double deuce.

  • In reply to brandonpurcell:

Trouble is that we were counting on Jones giving Forte a breather. Now he figures to be over used again absent a pickup this week of a #2

  • In reply to alott96:

Al I believe Adrian Peterson is more than capable of backing up Forte as well if not better than Kevin Jones would have. Throw in Wolfe on 3rd downs and I still think we're OK at the RB position even without Jones.

  • In reply to alott96:

Kevin Jones being hurt in this game is inexcusable. Inexcusable.

Caleb Hanie is not ready to play quarterback in the NFL.

  • In reply to alott96:

    WHY CAN

  • In reply to GoBears:

Yeah, the turf looks like it's in terrible condition. How is that possible?? What a joke.

  • In reply to Shady:

Maybe if enough light is on the subject things will change. I'd hate to see it change only after a key player (or any player!) gets injured...

  • In reply to GoBears:

That's what Caleb does well. Good scrambler. Just need more accuracy and poise. One year away.

  • In reply to GoBears:

    There ya go, CH!

  • In reply to GoBears:

The Gaines situation...he can play fullback, h-back and tight end. he is a good blocker and can catch, and run after the catch and make people miss. Do we keep him and only keep 1 fullback?

  • In reply to GoBears:

Has Gaines received even a single snap against first-teamers in the preseason? I'd be a little worried about that.

  • In reply to JeffHughes:

agreed. it was just weird seeing him juke some DB out of his jock last week. made me wonder if there was something to that or if it was a fluke. out of 73 career receptions, 44 were for 1st downs.

  • In reply to JeffHughes:

Johnny Knox is my return man on opening day. Let Manning rest the hammy for a few weeks.

  • In reply to JeffHughes:

    REEEDOOOHH!!!

  • In reply to JeffHughes:

Upset city, Rideau TD breaking tackles on a slant again!

  • In reply to JeffHughes:

    KNOX ROCKS

  • In reply to JeffHughes:

I really want the kid to make the team. Joniak is of the mindset that both rooks are locks.

  • In reply to JeffHughes:

    jackass!!!

  • In reply to JeffHughes:

Why would anyone rank Wolf ahead of Peterson?

  • In reply to JeffHughes:

why can't it be september 13th

  • In reply to JeffHughes:

    216 hours to go...

  • In reply to JeffHughes:

i get yelled at for saying cut iglesias but i'd cut iglesias.

  • In reply to JeffHughes:

I get the sentiment...but I think you have to give the kid a chance. Then again, we've been bitten in the butt by Oklahoma guys so often at this point...

  • In reply to JeffHughes:

he's the only player of all the receivers in competition who has shown ZERO. i always err on the side of production over potential.

  • In reply to JeffHughes:

    AGREED! Cut him.

  • In reply to Mastodon:

Well, maybe not... it's all so hard to decide

  • In reply to Mastodon:

I said it ealier and I'll say it again...Jackass Rules!

  • In reply to Mastodon:

Iglesies to the practice squad. Needs to work on catching the ball.

  • In reply to Mastodon:

overall i liked what i saw except for Lovie getting Kevin Payne injured needlessly. that was awesome.

  • In reply to hollywood1:

I meant Kevin Jones, but Kevin Payne had to come out of the game as well. why he was in either i don't have that answer.

  • In reply to hollywood1:

you cant just send a guy to the practice squad. they go on waivers first and theres a good chance someone will grab him.

  • In reply to JeffHughes:

    Keep Toe!

  • In reply to JeffHughes:

Basanez looks much better tonight with his throws.

  • In reply to JeffHughes:

    Iglesias showing something late...

  • In reply to JeffHughes:

you have to keep Rideau and DA. big targets for our human football cannon.

  • In reply to JeffHughes:

I get that Jeff...but most receivers take at least a couple of years before they 'get it.' That said, I went to Mizzou so I watch a lot of Big 12 football and saw a decent amount of Iglesias the last couple of years...never did all that much to wow me, was just a good receiver at a powerhouse program, so who knows.

  • In reply to JeffHughes:

I agree... let him work the practice squad until he gets hungry enough to produce consistently.

  • In reply to JeffHughes:

Did anyone notice the guy on the Browns sideline wearing the the #23 Lebron Browns jersey?

  • In reply to JeffHughes:

i think wolfe and peterson aren't in competition. wolfe is more a screen pass, third down guy.

  • In reply to JeffHughes:

    No more injuries, please...

  • In reply to JeffHughes:

Personally I love what Rideau can do. I'd take him over Aroma and Davis if it were up to me. The rook #17 (can't spell his name) doesn't look like he will/should play at all this year. The best case senario would be for him to get a hang nail and end up on IR.
    KEEP RIDEAU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • In reply to JeffHughes:

Knox has over 200 total yards so far

  • In reply to JeffHughes:

So is it going to be Rideau or Aroma for that last spot?

  • In reply to JeffHughes:

hester, bennett, rideau, DA, Knox, Iglesias

  • In reply to JeffHughes:

Knox has been very, very impressive tonight. I'm always skeptical of the guys who are all speed, but he seems to have some football IQ. He could make some plays this year...let's just hope he holds onto the ball if he returns some kicks (he has no meat).

What a shame about Jones. He actually looked to have some burst tonight too. It will really suck if it is something serious...he's worked hard to get back. That said, I'm still confident AP can fill in accordingly when needed, personally.

  • In reply to JeffHughes:

i know, davis has made the team. that doesn't mean i have to like it.

  • In reply to GoBears:

    Ummm...that sucked Rod.

  • In reply to GoBears:

Rod Hood bites on a double move. Wasn't that why his last two teams dumped him?

  • In reply to GoBears:

    Yeah, well, Rod Hood...no.

  • In reply to alott96:

    JACKASS!!!

  • In reply to alott96:

I'll tell you. Jackass could be something. Once the ball is his hands, he's got Hester speed.

  • In reply to alott96:

Great turn and move up field on that catch

  • In reply to alott96:

Are you guys still going to tell me Caleb Hanie is a capable professional quarterback? He has ability but how many open receivers does he have to miss?

  • In reply to alott96:

Rod Hood is showing why he was cut earlier in the week.

  • In reply to alott96:

Boy, Culter has already spoiled you Jeff. Hanie is playing at the same level as the previous two starters.

  • In reply to alott96:

The fact that Jones was even in the game is FUCKING INEXCUSABLE. FUCKING INEXCUSABLE. FUCKING INEXCUSABLE.

Then Payne is still in and he gets hurt?????????????????????
    ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME???????????????????????????????
What the fuck is Lovie thinking. that arrogant fucking cocksucker.

  • In reply to hollywood1:

i think i broke my swearing rule. if you guys and i made such stupid decisions at our jobs we'd be fired. these guys get to suck and make money we'll never see.

  • In reply to hollywood1:

    meaning the coaching decisions

  • In reply to hollywood1:

Hanie looks like a backup qb. If he has to start a game or two we'll be in trouble.
I hope you're right Shady, but I just don't see it. Peterson has been here now for 7 years and we know what he is. A effort guy who lacks the speed, quickness, and power to be a front line back. He can give a quick breather, but you can't rotate him in for a full series like is needed. I'd look on the waver wire.
I like Knox a lot. I see him as the new Berrian, very similar.

  • In reply to alott96:

Not a good night for Hanie. He better get his act together fast. Like real fast! Jackass rules!

  • In reply to alott96:

    FROM VAUGHN MCCLURE:

The Bears kept Rashied Davis out of the game tonight due to a tweak somewhere. This guarantees Rash will be on the team.

  • In reply to brandonpurcell:

That was an awful pass by Hanie

  • In reply to brandonpurcell:

    Harrison the new Harris

  • the way he came down but he shouldn't have been in the game to begin with
