Good game. Yes, plenty of room for improvement. But when it mattered, the Bears offense, defense, and special teams made big plays. This is a good football team. Keep that in mind.

Harris got in on some plays, Afalava almost pulled off a Polamalu-esqe INT. Defense needs to step up a little but Cutler came up huge. Hester had some sick catches today and Bennett and Knox did well too. I really like out passing game alot. Running game is still a little rough but that will come in time i think. I was a little fucking stressed there for a bit and we really need to step up on 3rd and 10 or more but a win is a win is a fucking win. they missed 2 FG's but we pissed away at least 14 points as well, they got lucky too.

The OL stank it up again (giving Forte has no chance) but were overshadowed by Ron Angelo's playcalling. I don't know where to start with the calls, but seeing Garrett Wolfe come onto the field as an every down NFL back was embarrassing. His mother must have closed her eyes watching that sequence. What was AP doing on the sidelines for 3rd and 1 ?! You look at that play, still shaking your head from the previous two and Wolfe is all alone in the back field. Ok, this a wr screen, hb screen, something. Nope. They handed the ball to the lollipop guild and asked him to plough through a line of fully grown men ? Please. A D-lineman, the new guy Kalil whatshisface. Anybody. It looks as though our OL is actually WORSE than last year, both in pass and run blocking. Even Williams was bad. Omiyale was supposed to be an addition, he plays like a subtraction. Cutler gets them out of trouble again and again, it's like he sees the game unfold in slow motion, I have no idea how he finds receivers as quickly as he does. Why was Kellen Davis not used more ? How much more of Greg Olsen falling over and desperately not trying to get open can we suffer ?
