The Generationals show at Lincoln Hall played like a Best Of tour, which seemed to please everyone.
While the majority of fans in attendance were waiting for the hits, "When They Fight," "Put A Light On," and "Black Lemon," the rest seemed to be digging the smattering of new songs that were played.
My favorite songs of the night included "TenTwentyTen," and a song I had never before heard until this night, "Lucky Numbers." The latter of which I cannot stop playing. It was a crowd-pleaser, reminiscent of LSD Soundsystem.
Later in the night, we were surprised with a classic Cure cover, "Just Like Heaven, " and my favorite song from State Dogs, "Catahoula Man."
I've almost never seen a crowd this happy and this friendly. If you get to be part of the G-Dub Dance Party, it's a special feeling.
