My 2010 Cherry Stout from Bell's just didn't hold up. In it's defense, I waited just a bit too long to drink it.
The color was a gorgeous dark chocolate, but there was little carbonation left in the bottle, as witnessed in the photo above.
The murky medicine of sorts was like a boozy, cherry cough syrup with coffee and light chocolate on the fade.
I wouldn't cellar this one for too long, no more than 2 years. But who am I to blow against the wind.
