"Return To The Moon" Is My Favorite Summer Song

My favorite song of the summer, which just ended yesterday officially, is "Return To The Moon," by EL VY. It's upbeat and innocent, with a much happier take on pop music than we are used to from the lead singer of The National.

Matt Berninger's voice is the perfect fit for the jittery guitar work of Brent Knopf. You're going to want to move when you hear this.

"EL VY (pronounced like a plural of Elvis; rhymes with ‘hell pie’) is the musical collaboration between Matt Berninger, vocalist and lyricist of The National, and Brent Knopf, the Portland musician and producer best known for his work in Menomena and his more recent band, Ramona Falls. Their debut album Return To The Moon will be released on October 30th via 4AD."

It's stayed atop my Spotify playlist which says something, as I listen to a lot of different music, and I'm constantly moving songs around.

I'm excited to hear what the finished product sounds like, when it hits streets a day before Halloween.
