To-Nite Jewel @ Empty Bottle

Somewhere between King Mozzer, and the Queen Siouxsie Sioux, lay the sensual Nite Jewel.  A woman with 80's pop sensibility, who writes intimate songs you can visualize.  I say there is a visualness to her music, because her voice can take you somewhere, like Kate Bush did with "Running Up That Hill."  Just check out this Nite Jewel song "Memory Man" for confirmation.  Also, see the above video for new single "One Second To Love."  If that doesn't get your mind spinning, what will?

Tonight this jewel brings her live act to the sparseness of the Empty Bottle, and if you don't have plans, you should be here dancing.  Nite Jewel has been compared to another 80's act Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam, and "It Goes Through Your Head," is near as poppy as "Head To Toe."  She's a little deeper and a lot more subdued on her latest record, but how cool would this outfit be to see live?  I wanna put on my-my-my-my-my-my-my boogie shoes and head to the Bottle!
