Kane County pitcher, Tyler Skulina, has been promoted to High-A Dayton according to Robbie Aaron
— Robbie Aaron (@RobbieAaron) July 31, 2014
Aaron is the Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations for the Dayton Cubs.
Skulina departs Kane County after posting a 3.21 ERA and 3.79 FIP. Over the course of 89.2 innings, Skulina has struck 68 batters while walking 35. On May 17th, Skulina and Nathan Dorris combined for a no-hitter.
High-A will be a challenge for Tyler, as he doesn't have overpowering stuff and can be inconsistent at times.
