I keep hearing about the leadership you need from guys like Wood and Ryan Dempster.
Weren't they the leaders of the clubhouse that underachieved and didn't play very hard according to Jed Hoyer and Dale Sveum?
I guess I am way tired of warm and fuzzy.
I just want players that make the other team lose.
One last thing.
Is it wrong that I also can't wait until Dempster is traded at the deadline, so I don't have to see that Will Ferrell impersonating Harry Carry impersonation ever again?

Can we also just lose all the "cubbie" crapola? Maybe even redo the logo to something less resembling a child's toy and something a little tougher? Like a Bear with an eye patch and a machete.. something like that. That would be awesome.

I could not agree with you more on this [except for the Dempster impersonation which I do admit I enjoyed].
This wanting to hold on to the past is quite sickening and really is the worst part of what I see from other Cubs Fans. All I want is a consistently competitive team that will eventually win the big prize. I really feel that this crap has backed JedTheo into a corner and I am afraid that they will have to over pay...
