Names In Haiku: Everything new is old again

You'll notice a slight change at the top of this blog starting today. There's a different avatar and a different name. Chicago Sports In Haiku has returned to its original identity as The Cubs In Haiku. Check out the "About The Cubs In Haiku" page to read more about how we've evolved since The Cubs In Haiku began in 2008.

The content here won't change. Our new/old name just reflects what's been happening here. For several years you would find regular (or semi-regular) posts about the Blackhawks, Bears, Bulls and even the White Sox. But more recently the focus returned to the Cubs, and the end of another baseball season seemed like a good time to make the change.

Everything "under the hood" remains the same. If you've bookmarked this site, the old link will still work. Our Twitter account (which was always The Cubs In Haiku) and Facebook page (which has been renamed to match the blog) are still in the same places you've always found them.

You'll still find occasional haiku about the other Chicago sports teams - and sometimes posts that aren't about sports at all. But the main focus here will be on the Chicago Cubs.

The end of the baseball season is not the end of haiku season. Type your email address in the box and click the "create subscription" button. My list is completely spam free, and you can opt out at any time.
