Cubs Home Opener
They have "Limited Tickets"
You can buy them now
This morning an email from the Cubs arrived with the subject line "Don't miss Opening Day at Wrigley Field - limited tickets still available!" Opening Day should be one of the most popular games of the season, even if it might still feel like winter on April 8th. It's indicative of the sad state of affairs at Clark and Addison that the Cubs are still trying to sell tickets for the game.
But what do they actually mean by "limited"?
It'll cost you, but just a few minutes ago, you could have purchased 18 - yes, EIGHTEEN - tickets TOGETHER in the Field Boxes. My guess is they'll still be available if you try later today.
The Cubs might be saying "limited", but to paraphrase Inigo Montoya, I do not think that word means what they think it means.
