Anarchists Brunch: There's A Starlin Waiting In The Sky
Every year, we have the Starlin Castro debate. It's surely become tiresome for every Cubs fan, just because we've all heard it so much. For the first time though, it feels like there's a clear delineation between logic and heart. I am a Castro fan. Mostly because I don't buy into the garbage that flows around him. Starlin has never played a meaningful baseball game in five years. He had to sift through the 2010 and 2011  teams, before Anthony Rizzo even arrived, when there wasn't even a glimpse of what was coming. And I do think Starlin cares a lot. I do think he wants to be here and see it all make those years worth it. It doesn't feel like that sometimes, when he apparently doesn't learn old lessons in the field or at the plate. And if you're like me, your heart wants Starlin to shove it up all those who have seemingly made a living out of hammering him (rhymes with "Menly" and "Haplan")...
