  • The Brewers 24 year old Josh Hader had been putting up super star numbers in his 2 years in the majors. This year in 74 innings pitched, he has allowed only 30 hits and struck out a whopping 130 with an ERA of 2.05. He is virtually unhittable.

  • In reply to shalin:

he's also quite the racist, Club house poison?

  • Curtis Granderson has always been "a Cub killer" and it has been no different in this last series with the Brewers, just like Dan Murphy use to be, but in the last week or so, Murphy has been "a Cub killer" if you know what I mean.

  • I wonder if Russell will need surgery on his hand after the season and am concerned if Bryant will have a chronic problem with his left shoulder, especially on checked swings. I wonder when Yu Darvish started experiencing pain in his elbow because with the upcoming surgery, it sounds like he has arthritis in the joint.

  • In reply to shalin:

I thought Russell had his best game at the plate in a while. Hit the ball with authority to RF twice. This is typically a sign for him to get going.

Both Happ and Almora are looking lost at the plate. I wish Heyward was available to take over in CF.

  • Sorry, concerning Darvish, I should have said "with yesterday's surgery".
We all know that Theo scored a bonanza when he signed Lester, Heyward, and Zobrist,. They were worth every penny spent and we wouldn't have won the pennant w/o them. I think the Cubs are really missing Heyward's leadership right now. He was not only having another great season with the glove, but a decent one with the bat. If Darvish is not the same impact pticher post surgery, then 3 out of 4 is good. Lester has been pitching with a bone chip in his elbow since before Theo signed him, so go figure. I am concerned about Lester pitching with a back injury since it can not only affect his pitching, but could cause long term injury to his shoulder or elbow.

  • Carl Edwards Jr has eclectic stuff, but has lost his confidence. Hopefully, he gets its back soon because we need him badly

  • Sad commentary. All that effort and no comments. I have a couple. 1) First thank you for all the effort to produce this product.
    2) Realize you're just the messenger but what a poor product. More red lights than a holiday exhibit.

  • In reply to veteran:

Also more green lights than a holiday exhibit. IMO there is a lot of depth there. Be patient.

  • In reply to veteran:

I thought you were talking about the cut and past approach h to this post. I miss John
