It's going to be a 12 Team Head to Head Yahoo League. Both Tom and I will be in the league. You'll need a Yahoo account. If you don't have one, just start one up. It's free.

I got to see him pitch against Kane County 2 years ago, and while he was throwing heat, it didn't look like he had any movement on his pitches that day, he was getting line drives drilled all over the park.

It actually let me put in the ID and password and create a team (so it still wasn't full) but by the time I hit Register, it was. That close.

Call me the eternal optimist but mark my words the Cubbies will win 83+ games this season, I have a shiny 50 cent piece to wager on it for real. So ask yourself this question, do you feel lucky little man? haha.

I tried about 10 minutes after the Tweet went out, so I probably wasn't even close. Too bad...it's hard to find leagues with people who actually want to play. Seems like every public league I join ends up with four people playing and eight teams who don't set their lineup after April.
Ditto on missing out on the chance to register.

It will be an auction draft held this Friday night at 8:30 online. A little more strategy involved than your typical draft if you've never tried it!
I have set the max innings pitched for 1250 innings so you can't gain an advantage by continually switching pitchers. This way you can compete without necessarily checking every day.
I have set offensive categories as
avg, net sb, runs, rbis, homers, total bases, and walks
pitching categories
wins, holds, net saves, whip, era, strikeouts.
Also I have set max acquisitions at 50 for the year so you need to draft wisely.
do we have a running tally of which leagues are full and not full?

Also you get 4 of's 1 extra MI, and 1 extra CI. as well as 8 pitchers- 2 starters, 2 relievers, and 4 of any kind. Only 2 spots for bench and 1 dl. Also I set it up for a max of 16 teams so it will be a little deeper league where you will need to dig a little bit towards the end of the draft. Makes for fun chances to draft up and comers!
For comparison's sake, my league also has 4 OFs, CI, MI and same pitcher counts. 5x5 roto league using OBP instead of BA. 12 teams, 5 bench spots. Little smaller league, little deeper benches.

I'd be interested in playing, but the last 3 summers I've been in a league and not had the time to change lineups. I wouldn't have wanted to take up the space on the league haha. I will probably join another at some point and forget about it half way through the summer once again.
