  • As a public service, Kevin, you may want to post a "How to get home from Lollapalooza" blog this morning for the handful of folks who enjoyed themselves just a little too much last night. ;-)

  • In reply to SpinyNorman:

In Chicago, they used to call that the "squadrol."

Apparently paddy wagon was too Irish.

  • In reply to jack:

That's odd. I've been in Chicago for 48 years, and I've never heard of the Paddy Wagon referred to as a squadrol. 'Must be a PC term used in the liberal parts of town.

  • In reply to SpinyNorman:

It at least used to be used on TV news. As my link demonstrates, it is the official police department term.

  • In reply to jack:

As a full-blooded, 100 percent Irishman, I resemble that remark!

  • In reply to Kevin O’Neil:

Lol! I knew you looked suspicious. ;-)

  • Yes, great idea for next year Spiny! LOL!
