The annual Art on Track ride changes things up this year with a new route and El Stories performances on board.
The "world’s largest mobile art gallery" rides the Blue Line this year from 5 to 10 p.m. Saturday. A six-car train will travel from the Logan Square station to UIC-Halsted, with stops at Damen and Clark and Lake. You can get $10 tickets online or on the train at one of the four station stops.

As an added bonus, the Waltzing Mechanics will bring some of their best scenes from their hit "El Stories" to one of the Art on Track cars. It it being produced in cooperation with noisivelvet and The Cinema Culture. In addition to riders getting a live viewing of a mobile stage production of “EL Stories,” they get a chance to be an extra in the movie being shot by The Cinema Culture.
The Waltzing Mechanics will start the weekend at 7:30 p.m Friday with a pay-what-you-can benefit performance for Berger Park, at the park, 6205 N. Sheridan Rd. Good times!
