  • It seems CTA was so busy putting signs up for the completely rerouted buses that they failed to install them for routes whose stops are only switching corners. Got yelled at twice yesterday for not knowing about stop relocations for routes I rarely ride. Good times!

  • I've been taking the 123 bus from Union Station in the morning, trying to get near the Merchandise Mart and three times the Wacker/Wells stop has been ignored. I ended up having to get off at Lower Wacker/Michigan, Upper Wacker/State, and a non-existent stop (?). Are the 123 routes completely random to Illinois Center? Bus Tracker says there's Wacker/Wells stops in both directions due to construction, but when I attempted to board a 123 bus this morning the driver said "no" when I asked if he stopped at Wacker/Wells. Dropping me off all the way down by State defeats the whole purpose of taking the bus.

  • In reply to mtrayne:

Mtrayne: I would call the CTA and ask. And if in fact the driver should be stopping at Wacker/Wells, try to get a driver number or bus identifier (run number or bus number) and make a complaint.
