This woman loves maps so much -- and the CTA -- that she has the rail system map tattooed on the top of foot.
She showed up one day recently at the George Ritzlin Antique Maps and Prints store in Evanston, and showed off her prized possession to Ritzlin.
I've never had a tattoo, but dang, that's gotta hurt.

damn, even I won't go there. Actually, on second thought...
OMG!!! that's a mess.... & who really cares that much about the CTA, they a Hot T Mess too... they truly need to come down on the fares & bring super tranfers back on Sundays!
The tattoo is already outdated since the blue line no longer serves the Douglas branch. Now what is this woman going to do?
At least the orange and red line expansions will be easy to update!
I don't think so, unless the Red Line is going to go into the crack between her toes.
I'd don't usually use other people's choices as a reference point for my own, but I will be sure to bring this up the next time the family and/or friends give me crap about my transit obsession. At least it's locked inside my head in the form of memorized schedules and rolling stock minutiae and hasn't been immortalized in ink. On second thought, maybe I'll get a "RIP X49" tattoo to help process my grief after February 7.

She really should have showered and cleaned up her nasty toenails before taking a pic of them...hope she kept her tattoo cleaner than that !
It's a good thing she's not obsessed with London, Tokyo or the NYC subways! Tose would have taken up both feet.
