Top Ten Chicago Sports Summer Moments

Chicago has had one heck of a summer with many controversies and maybe a championship in there somewhere too.

Narrowing down the entire Chicago Sports Summer into 10 moments was quite hard... for example I had to leave a couple things out... Like Carlos Zambrano's melt down,  I just didn't want to talk about him anymore. 
Here is my list of the top ten Chicago sports summer moments.  
Goodbye Lou
Cubs Manager Lou Piniella announces that he is retiring... It's about time!! But the aftermath of the controversy remains... we still have no idea who will be the new Cubs front man.
The Lebron/Wade/Bosh mess
I don't even know what to say here... but maybe apologize to all the Bulls fans who thought that they were all come here so they bought season tickets.. But at least we got Boozer.
Sox get Manny
Yes!! But we are still waiting for him to do something...
Blackhawks Parade draws nearly 3 million people
The Blackhawks Stanley Cup aftermath gave everyone a reason to party for the first half of the summer... some people are still "celebrating".
Bears lose every pre-season game..
Enough said.. We are going to suck... We'll be lucky if we win 5 games... I just hope Cutler doesn't set a new interception record.

The Sox get back in the Pennant Race
The White Sox go 25-5 on the road to get back in the race, but we all know what happens when the Twins come to town. The White Sox are missing consistency this year, but we still have a shot.
The National League wins the MLB All Star Game
The Nationsl League wins for the first time in nearly ten years... it's about time.
Blackhawks cleam house
Hawks got rid of Versteeg, Ladd, Eager, Burish, Byfugliened, Sopel and Niemi... breaking the hearts of Hawks fans across the city.
Bears get Julius Peppers

Cubs Trade Derrek Lee
Bye bye your former Savior... something I thought the Cubs would never do.. and they didn't get too much for him..
