KRAMPUS: A Haunted Christmas (2018 Haunt Review)

Team Gregula was in the mood for some Ho-Ho-Horror last night, so Da Count and I made a trip to 13th Floor Haunted House Chicago in Melrose Park, IL for their annual Christmas spookstravaganza.

This year's edition is called KRAMPUS: A Haunted Christmas - Jack Frost and boy it was a sight to see. As soon as we entered the main waiting area the pine-scented atmosphere was both creepy and festive at the same time. Millions of colored lights were hung all over, including trees, walls and even the ropes separating the waiting areas. There was even snow falling!

There was plenty of wait entertainment even though it didn't take long to get in as it wasn't too busy. There were plenty of frightening and fun characters roaming both inside and out giving frozen frights to everyone whether naughty or nice - they don't discriminate. We even met up with Jack Frost himself!

13th Floor Haunted House Chicago was in all its horrifying holiday glory, nearly everything had a Santa hat on. As we walked through the various scenes ghoulishly decorated for the season, even more creatures came out of nowhere scaring the St. Nick out of me. Be careful of random Christmas trees and watch out for the Krampus!

We had a jolly old time at 13th Floor Chicago's holiday haunt and are looking forward to the next time we visit which just might be V-Day!

KRAMPUS: A Haunted Christmas - Jack Frost at 13th Floor Haunted House Chicago is located at 1940 George St in Melrose Park, IL. Open TONIGHT (December 8th, 7pm - 11pm)
