Billy Idol came to the Taste of Chicago on July 9th and he brought energy and fire, along with his trademark sneer to a giant crowd spanning a good portion of Grant Park.
Idol kept everyone on their feet for the entire show with cuts from his latest album Kings and Queens of the Underground, but the excitement was really on point when he brought out the old favorites like Dancing With Myself and Flesh for Fantasy.
The fans really went wild when Billy went shirtless for a raucous rendition of Rebel Yell, effectively sending all in a time machine from 2016 back to the 80s.
Guitarist Steve Stevens was showcased with his guitar solos and performance of Led Zeppelin cuts.
The show ended on a perfect note with the classic White Wedding
This was a fun show for all, no matter if you were up front in the pit or back on the lawn dancing your a$$ off.
