Recap: One Of A Kind Spring Show 2016

You like art shows? Interested in gourmet foods? Looking to purchase unique handmade gifts? Well we found all this and more at the One Of A Kind Spring Show! With the success of its Holiday shows in the past, it was decided that this "one of a kind" event was ready for a second appearance and it was launched the weekend of April 29 - May 1, 2016 for the very first Spring edition. Da Count and I got there bright and early and were greeted with complimentary mimosas even before we went into the show.

There was a lot to see and do, you really needed more than one day to see it all.The first part we saw was the Gourmet Market, where there were many different kinds of food for sale such as cheeses, meats, chocolate, dips, salsa and more with lots of free samples to try! Hills Bros was there giving out cups of coffee made from their new Keurig compostable single serving pods.

The Chopping Block was also here with samples of gourmet items such as truffle salt ($26!) and other assorted seasonings and kitchen supplies. They also presented cooking demonstrations on the Gourmet Stage.

Now we know this wasn't just a food show. Although we could have spent the entire day in this delicious section, there were also other fabulous items to shop for. There was an art gallery of paintings and sculptures for sale, and Lillstreet Art Center was there with demonstrations, workshops and a coloring wall for the kiddos.

There were many gifts to shop for like soaps, clothes and jewelry. Even the Pencil Lady was there selling her wares.
