ChiTAG's playCHIC: A Review

Well, (or as Count would say "vell") the wine was certainly flowing at City Winery Wednesday night at the first annual playCHIC fashion show sponsored by the Chicago Toy and Game Fair aka ChiTAG.  It actually flowed so much I managed to spill part of a glass of red wine all over the table, but in my effort to stay all classy n stuff I went along with the old saying "when in doubt, pinky out" and managed to clean up and keep our rock star status intact.

OK, so maybe we don't have rock star status, but we did have a great view of the runway where models sported haute couture designs inspired by some really awesome toy, game and entertainment brands such as Moshi Monsters, Annie - The Musical, Settlers of Catan, Pony Royale, Word Winder and Brenda Starr - Reporter.  Local designers Nade Baer,  Miriam Cecilia,  Elda De La Rosa,  and Gibeon Tolbert created these playful fashions and they were fabulous!

In addition to the fashion show, attendees were treated to various different wines, beers and delicious appetizers including an amazing turkey cranberry and pesto with brie sandwich bites.

A big Thank You to City Winery and ChiTAG for hosting this amazing event!
