Since I'm on hiatus from hosting couchsurfers for about another week due to moving to new digs, I decided to use this opportunity to blog about an upcoming event. It's a benefit concert for Matthew Leone, a local musician, who was brutally beaten while being a good samaritan
trying to stop a domestic incident he encountered on the street.
The one and only Smashing Pumpkins are generously donating the proceeds from a benefit
concert for him to be held at the Metro on Tuesday, July 27th. All you have to do is follow the link below to purchase a $10.00 raffle ticket. If you win, you and one of your closest friends (or not) can attend an awesome show while helping out a fellow Chicagoan in need.
Sound simple enough? It is! I didn't hesitate to participate in such a worthy cause and hope you will feel the same.
