Shop Small Day 224: Good's

Last time we talked about custom tables from Conley's. I mentioned that you don't have to drive all the way Kewanee to see them. But, here's another reason you should make the drive... Good's Furniture!

imagePack your walking shoes because this small business is huge! 250,000 square feet huge.

Yes, there's even a glass skyway connecting showrooms.

Looking for furniture or accessories for any room in your home? You'll find it here. And, you'll find it at a great price.

I love that it's set up like mini-showrooms- like IKEA for grown-ups. Some of the "rooms" I could snuggle into with a good book.

imageI love this bar though too.

Hate high pressure salesmen? Me too. Good thing you won't find them at Good's.

Of course all of this shopping will make you hungry. Convenient then, that you can visit their Wine Cellar to rest your feet, feed your belly, and enjoy a glass of wine or a cold beer!

Brought the kids? They'll enjoy watching and feeding the koi in their koi pond.

All of that shopping and walking wear you out too much for the drive home? That's ok, they have a Bed & Breakfast too!

imageGreat Grandpa Good opened his little furniture store in 1895 with a commitment to great quality, low prices, and fabulous customer service. 118 years later, Good's still exhibits the same qualities.
