Day 96: Yogurt Beach

It seems like yogurt shops are popping up everywhere lately. Though most of them seem to follow the same premise, I found one that definitely stands out from the crowd! Thanks, Lori, for the recommendation, because my new favorite frozen yogurt shop is hands-down Yogurt Beach.

Family owned (there are a couple other shops in Nevada owned by friends of the family) and has a -surprise- beach theme: surfboard tables, palm trees, and surf murals on the walls.
Yes, it's still the same concept where you choose your flavor(s), add your toppings, and pay by weight. But, here's where Yogurt Beach stands out...their yogurt is incredibly good. And, if you're not in the mood for frozen yogurt, soft-serve custard is an option too! You can also create your own shakes and floats.
My creation? Vanilla custard mixed with creamy Greek berry yogurt (recent new flavor) topped with fresh raspberries, chocolate chips, and chopped peanuts. Awesome!

I'm going back tomorrow!
