Today the City of Chicago Clerk’s office will have vehicle sticker sales at the 6th ward Alderman’s office. Many of my neighbors will fork over $85-180 per vehicle for an annual sticker that allows them to park on City of Chicago streets for one year. The price of the stickers continues to go up as... On March 9-10, 2012, Dixon Elementary (8306 S. St. Lawrence) held their annual Cultural Connection African Marketplace and Bazaar. The event brings out over 75 vendors and several thousand visitors. The event is a fundraiser for the school.
The Greater Chatham Alliance(GCA) meeting was held today at St. James Lutheran Church in Chatham. It’s official,the Walmart era has begun. The Walmart Express store opened approximately 6 months ago, in West Chatham,with a lot of fanfare that included a visit from Mayor Rahm Emanuel.
