The New York Times Talks About Chatham

Approximately nine months ago I received an email from Ben Carey, a Chicagoan who is a reporter for the New York Times. He stated he was doing a story and wanted to ask me questions about Chatham based on  one of my ChicagoNow blog post. We met and talked, but after several months I didn't t think the story was going to fly. This past summer he contacted me to let me know that they were approaching the story at a different angle and a crew was coming out to get footage of the community.  I was interviewed for the video piece but unfortunately met the dreaded editing scissors. Recently, I followed up and he let me know the story was going to be published but understand this was the New York Times, lol. Finally, the story is here:
