Got Drugs? Turn in Your Unused or Expired Medication This Saturday


Have unwanted pills? Prescription 'take-back is this Saturday. The Drug Enforcement Administration's program to help prevent pill abuse and accidental overdoses by disposing of unwanted or expired prescriptions.

Because prescription drugs shouldn't be flushed down the toilet or washed down the sink, police will collect pills, capsules, and tablets.

There is no charge, and they won't ask any questions.

Police will not accept intravenous solutions, injectables, and needles. Nor will they take marijuana, methamphetamine, or other illicit substances.
