"Cultural Appropriation" is Detrimental to YOUR Civil Liberties. Here's Why:

"Cultural Appropriation?" What the F are these disillusioned democrats talking about now, I thought.

I wanted you to read this article published by The Portland Mercury, but apparently they pulled it. See the Editor’s note below. Then you tell me what you think of this "Cultural Appropriation" BS. America is supposed to be a melting pot. Obviously not any more.

A NOTE FROM THE EDITOR (5/31/17) Dear readers: Due to new information that has recently come to light, we have taken down our blog post, “This Week in Appropriation: Kooks Burritos and Willamette Week.” It was not factually supported, and we regret the original publication of this story.—eds.

Know why this "CA" crap makes my f-king blood boil? Because everything we or anyone else who “culturally appropriates” does pays TRIBUTE to that specific culture. It’s our way of showing appreciation and paying homage to another’s heritage, culture and way of life . . .

And now these two wonderful white women from Portland, Oregon are out of business because some whiny demo-douches got jealous and decided to start trouble when and where there was none. Are these "cultural whiners" even Hispanic or Mexican? WTF is wrong with people these days. Got nothin' better to do?? Spending too much time in your parents' basements? Too much time on line . . . ?

Liberals always seem to take great pride in ruining others' lives and businesses while these people work their asses off to make an honest living - by what the libs call “appropriating another’s culture!" At least we work for our money.

The first I heard of this “Cultural Appropriation” crap was when I heard Whoopie Goldberg rant in disgust about the whites “appropriating our music” – I couldn’t believe my ears. Like she’s responsible for all black music? Where would Motown be if not for a whole lot of us whites buying their records, also.

In the mid to late 60’s, I was the only white kid I knew of in high school who listened exclusively to R&B soul music. Of course, all my friends and family thought I was nuts, but I just found “black” music to be much more soulful, soothing, meditative and creative. I got the beat.

Didn’t much care for The Beatles, Bob Dylan, and the likes of Simon and Garfunkel and Arlo Guthrie. Their “Twinkiness” made me absolutely GAG.

Gimme Donna Summer, Phyllis Hyman, Thelma Houston, Gloria Gaynor, The Four Tops, Barry White, Smokey Robinson & The Miracles, The Isley's, The Commodores, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, The Supremes, The Temptations, Gladys Knight and all the rest of those “Pips” any day. Get my drift.

My favorite Chicago radio stations back in the day were WGCI, WMPP, and WVON, to name but a few. And Herb “The Cool Gent” Kent was one of my favorite DJ’s of all time. (I did listen to Dick Biondi, but only in a pinch.) Little did I know back then that I was guilty of “Culturally Appropriating” anything.

To this day, I still LOVE Steppin' to R&B, dancing Salsa, Bachata, and Tango. I love all manner of different ethnic people, cultures, food and music.

Oh, and while we’re on the subject, here’s a list of a few very famous culinary “Cultural Appropriators:” Anthony Bordain (“Uge” leftist), Julia The French Chef Childs (not really French that I know of), Emeril LaGasse, Rick (The King of Mexican Food in Chicago) Bayless, and anyone and everyone not of the actual nationality's food that they’re cooking or the music they’re listening and dancing to. Smell what I’m cookin’ here.

And think about this: The Ultimate in “Cultural Appropriation” would be mixed marriages and romantic relationships. Thank about it. How much more “Culturally Appropriated” can you get.

This is something I would've never thought of until all this "Cultural Appropriation" BS started, but thanks to Whoopie, it got me thinking. One of my best friends is married to an African American man who is absolutely a Salt-Of-The-Earth Prince, so how do you think I feel bringing this fact to light? Not good, but I feel it must be said.

All this "Cultural Appropriation" stuff is total BS and MUST stop. It's Uber-divisive. Evil. Racial. Just plain Un-American. And stupidly selfish.

I have a VERY diverse group of friends and family, actually - and now the liberals gotta start this crap and ruin everything for everyone else. Are you freakin’ serious?

Cries of “Cultural Appropriation” are nothing more than divisive BULLYING by the Left. Period.

Now please excuse the F outta me while I go “appropriate someone else’s culture” and make something wonderfully ethnic to eat!

I think I’m gonna make myself some tamales and salsa. Hmmm. Or maybe some nice Chinese egg rolls and Sizzling Rice Soup – all from scratch.

BTW, I am an expert, "Culturally Appropriated," Gourmet Chinese Chef – ask any of my old friends about my legendary “Chinese Super Bowl Parties” from back in the day.

Whadda ya think? We gotta nip this crap in the bud ASAP and STOP bending over and spreading ‘em for all the disgruntled, disillusioned demo-douches who ruin everything for the rest of us who have a tremendous love for all things culturally different and ethnically diverse from our own.

#BoycottThePortlandMercury – The publication who originally fanned the flames of this story. Must be desperate for readership . . .

#BoycottMic.com – Ditto on this publication’s desperation, too.

#Boycott anyone and everyone who thinks their cultural $#it doesn’t stink and wants to make a commotion about some “white folks” “appropriating their culture.” Try and survive without us . . .

Just sayin’.

PS: You don’t have to agree with my political views, but we do need to learn to agree to disagree and not fight about stupid things. I personally think all this leftist hate, obstructionism, divisiveness, and sedition – is devastating to America’s core . . .

And it hurts my heart.
