Trump: On the Move Keeping Campaign Promises

One of the biggest ways for Trump to start to #MakeAmericaGreatAgain is by saving over 1,000 Carrier jobs in Indiana from going to Monterrey, Mexico.

Why should the American public be happy about this? Let me give ya a for instance:

We have an upgraded washier-dryer full-size combo unit that we bought when we moved into our loft condo about 21 years ago. With periodic maintenance, the thing still runs like a top. However, last month, the dryer timer selector knob disintegrated off in my hand, so we called for GE Service.

The GE guy comes out and almost faints when he sees our 20-something year old machines . . . ooh-ing and aah-ing over them as if they were a pair of rare classic cars up for auction at the Arizona Barrett-Jackson Auto Show.

“You don't see many like these anymore!” He exclaimed. Hang onto them as long as you can. Do whatever you have to do to keep them going.”

“Why?” I ask, already thinking of going shopping for something brand new.

“Because all the other home appliance companies have moved their production to China and everything these days is all cosmetic on the outside but total crap on the inside. Nothing lasts. And BTW, GE is the only appliance maker to have their own fleet of service people - so we know the machines better than anyone else.

Say, if you buy any machines with the largest capacity, heavy-duty tubs, the highest tech controls and circuit boards - no matter how much you pay for them – they all break down the minute you put so much as two small bath mats in them. All machines and appliances are made the same way these days, not just the large capacity tub models – it’s because of the cheap metal parts. They spin out of balance and then you have a flood and a host of other problems on your hands.”

Take CARRIER, for instance,” he went on. “They’re still almost totally American made and the absolute BEST on the market as far as quality, value and price. Buy American made when you can, no matter what the price because the stuff lasts and lasts.”

“Say no more,” I say. “You’ve cured me of wanting a brand new, shiny, high tech washer-dryer combo unless I absolutely have to. And when we need a new HVAC unit, Carrier will be our first choice."

The Moral of the Story Here: Buy American made! Demand it!!

KEEPING jobs in America and bringing jobs BACK to America are on the top of President Elect Trump’s primary campaign promise list and one of the big reasons the rust-belt folks and middle-class working people voted for him.

I firmly believe that if people give Trump a chance, he truly WILL #MakeAmericaGreatAgain.

But disgruntled, disillusioned Democrats need to stop rioting, whining and perpetuating all this divisiveness and get to F-king work right along side the rest of us.

EVERYBODY needs to work together to #MakeAmericaGreatAgain and it ALL begins with each one of us . . . Trump and his people cannot do it alone.

By starting off keeping his key promises, before he’s even sworn in, is a major show of his sincere intent to make change in the Swamp. Within his first 90 days, his promising to institute a major tax reform especially for middle-income taxpayers the likes of which have not been seen since the Reagan days – is incredible.

Then repealing Obamacare and, well, more to come . . .

Trump could very well turn out to be one of America’s BEST presidents ever. If you give him the chance . . .

Fasten your seatbelts kids, it’s gonna be a terrific ride!
