I was a little late to the party but I decided to watch the presidential debate and keep up with the Bears game simultaneously. These are the events as they happened. No names have been changed to protect the innocent.
I started with 1:23 left in the first quarter and the Bears were up 10-0. Also by my count President Obama was up by the same amount just 18 minutes into the blog. The debate was talking Syria, Romney has too much gel in his hair. I can only guess Jay Cutler’s hair was perfectly coiffed. One thing Matt Stafford and Romney have in common? Playing for the losing team, yeah I am counting my chickens before they hatch.
It is now the end of the first quarter and the Bears are still up 10-0. I also checked a text message so I missed what happened at this part of the debate. It is now 14:52 left in the 2nd quarter, Romney wants peace. When Romney talks I can actually hear the hash tags. The question is what is America’s role in the world? Romney turned it into a job argument somehow. I am also ready to tap out, have you heard the news? Romney has a 5-point plan, I feel he never talks about this.
With 11:00 minutes this is a shutout, in the Bears game and the debate. This is where I took a snack break…
Oh man how I love nuts, what a fantastic snack break that was. Now just a minute left in the 2nd quarter and the Bears are still up 10-0. I feel like I made a mistake with my time tonight, from what I can tell of the Bears game online and the debate on TV both have lost my interest. I am bored. Here comes the China question, also known as Romney’s political kryptonite. The end zone is the same thing in the football game.
I have learned a lot during the first half of the football game and the whole debate. We do not need a third debate. It is overkill. Also, watching football on the computer is not as exciting as watching it on TV. Yep, 10 whole points in an hour and a half.
