It's 10:16am as I write this, ready to leave my place for the last Nutcracker performance. I woke up this morning saying "this is it", and even received a few text messages from friends saying "last one! you made it!". It's absolutely right we made it, regardless of injury to my left hip and shoulder, but I smile and feel a great sense of accomplishment. It's a relief and satisfaction that I am still standing and getting ready to finish this run with the most difficult part, the Nutcracker Prince.
I would like to take the chance to say thank you to all of you once again....the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun Times, Time Out Chicago, the Washington Post, the Saint Louis Herald, and many more blogger friends using their social networks to help the Joffrey shine. It is for all of you that we perform, and it is because of you that we are here.
