Chicago, IL – Drinks, food, women and fashion. All of those four things will be happening May 29th as local Chicago designer Elda de la Rosa debuts her 2014 collection presented during “The Age of Opulence” fashion at the Montgomery Club at 6 p.m. And a night of opulence it will be.
The event will showcase bold designs that are meant to aspire its wearer to be feel confident and strong. It’s no wonder Elda is the designer of choice for some of Chicago’s most powerful women. Guest designer Ricorso will also present his line.
The night will be hosted by NBC5’s Zoraida Sambolin and other notable names attached to the night include: Amy Tara Koch (Fashion Expert/Media Personality), Candace Jordan (Chicago Tribune Society Columnist/Media Personality), Dusty Stemer, Diana Palomar VP of Community Affairs for ABC7 Chicago), Ibis Guillen, Kathy O’Malley (Gibson Group), Susanna Negovan (Editor for Sun-Times Splash), Dawn Hasbrouck (FOX32), Nina Mariano and more.
The night will not be without a cause. Ticket proceeds will benefit the Edgewater Development Corporation, a community based organization that strives to bring innovative programs to help business entrepreneurs.
Upon arrival, guests will be presented with good-for-you specialty cocktails from Thatcher’s Organic Artisan Liqueurs and hor d’oeuvres from Gibsons Restaurant Group. The fashion show starts promptly at 7:30 pm and tickets are $100 per person. For more information click here.
