Sophia Bush is finally feeling like an adult and she has Chicago to thank for that. The actress, 31, recently discussed her transition from the teen-centric CW series "One Tree Hill" into her new role which most resembles her own maturity on NBC's "Chicago P.D". The NBC drama airs Wednesdays (10 p.m EST).
"Finally," the actress proclaimed in a recent interview with the Associated Press on how it feels to be working alongside grown-ups.
"When you're working on a show whose subject matter is deemed to be teen, even though it evolved out of that, there's still an energy to it that can be frustrating as an adult human being and it was really hard for a lot us," she said.
The NBC drama, which is a spinoff of the series "Chicago Fire, Bush plays Detective Erin Lindsay. She says that her character feels more like her than any other role.
"Erin has a really strong moral compass and it's something that I understand and relate to."
