Listen, sometimes you're just not going to want to go to the gym. You're going to want to hang out at home and watch a movie. If you're like me though, you'll feel guilty about your decision. However, I've found the solution, work out while watching a movie! Not every film is made for squats and jack knife crunches. So here are the best movies to get you to get and get moving.
1). G.I. Joe 2: Retaliation (out on dvd July 30): I would be dead weight if I got stuck in a 50 ft. well with two other buddies like the Joes do in an opening scene. I now know how I would get out of said well with no help from others but it will require a lot of ab work-outs, leg presses and chin-ups.
2). Lara Croft: Tomb Raider & Cradle of Life: Who doesn't love a thicker Angelina Jolie? She's packing some heavy duty muscles proving you don't have to be rail thin to be sexy. The men (a young Daniel Craig and Gerald Butler) are equally impressive.
3). Fast and Furious 5: The amount of attractive people with normal, achievable hot bodies is absurd. No way will you be snacking during the movie if you want to get that flat stomach and lose the double chin.
4). Goal: Less about hot bodies, more about determination and will to succeed. Watch it if you need to kick-start your work-out.
5). Charlie's Angels 2: Full Throttle
A bit of a guilty pleasure but you can't help get into a work-out when all the ladies are sporting some serious muscle. The soundtrack is pretty legit too.
